Pulled pork & crispy frie

Some of the best BBQ I have eaten in the entire country! Delicious pulled pork, ribs, Brunswick stew. Best beef brisket I have eaten. Fantastic BBQ sauce and mustard BBQ sauce. Crispy, tasty fries and sweet potato fries. Yummy Mac n Cheese, cole slaw, chicken and rice, and other sides. Scrumptious homemade cakes and banana pudding. Family owned and operated and their pride in their restaurant shines through. Very friendly and fast service! Don't miss your chance to eat at Sweet T's if you are in the Adel area!

Almost drove passed the place!!!

I was in the area for business and was looking for a local place to kick back and relax and I found a wonderful spot!!!! I highly recommend this BBQ Restaurant and everything was wonderful. I had the smoked chicken which nice and moist and had a nice smoked flavor but not too heavy of smoke flavor but just the right amount to my liken!!! Oh the corn bread was awesome and want the maker to come home with me to cook for me , but no deal!!!! Highly recommended this place and the service was great and it is always nice to have some nice southern ladies serving me!!! Prices are very reasonable for a BBQ place and I would have given it 5 stars but did not try any desert but I hope to be working in the area and will be back.

Two meat basket

Great local BQ place. The food is very good and not expensive. We would definitely go back. I had the two piece meat basket. The ribs were fall from the bone. They were a little greasy but tasted great. The pulled pork was lean and with the barbecue sauce was very good They could use another couple of sauces. A hot one would be great. The place is very clean and friendly.

Pork Sandwich on Toast

Sweet T's greatest strength is their quick and friendly service. It took less than 10 minutes to receive my order. The pork I ordered had very nice flavor, however the toast of the sandwich failed to deliver any kind of crunch, making the sandwich one soft consistency. The tables are populated with only 2 sauces, and the french fries, which are standard for most orders, lack flavor. The flaws are not enough to wreck the experience, and overall I think Sweet T's is worth your time if you're looking to get decent barbecue quickly.

Great, clean, fast service. Typical BBQ menu but lots of little surprises, too. Mostly a lunch stop, but they do have dinners on Thursday and Friday nights, 5-9 pm. Plenty of seating but they also have takeout. Lots of locals dine here - always a good sign someone is doing something right. Right in the town of Adel, short way off of I75.

Great food , great service. Owner is hands on. Pulled pork melts in your mouth. No need for sauce on the meat. Good sized portions.

She checked back on us several times, and recommended we stop back in on our way back to Florida. Spouse ordered the smoked pork chop lunch with mashed potatoes, green beans, and cornbread: it was all delicious, especially the chop! I ordered the pulled pork lunch with fries, squash casserole, and cornbread. My favorite sauce was the Sweet & Tangy: I used it on the pork as well as my fries. The squash was flavorful (yum) but I did pick out some of the breadcrumbs in order to get straight squash flavor--so good! Finally, I'm in love with their cornbread! When we do come back in our travels, I may just order cornbread and butter as my dessert! Highly recommend this place, and be sure to say hello to Server Denise (she said to call her that, as the owner is also named Denise! Fun!

While yes the food is better than fast food and it's nice to stop for a family lunch during a long drive at a place with lots of options, not sure we'll make this stop again. The chicken finger platter is a plate of concession stand chicken fingers, nothing special (or good). The ribs are dry while simultaneously wet but not in a rib winning competition way. Mac and cheese is on the menu so that pleased the younger crowd. Kids cheeses burger was a sad thing Pattie with unmelted cheese on top. Unfortunately, I kept getting bombarded by tiny flies during my meal that really distracted from the (indoor) dining experience. I'm not sure if it was the sodium or brain overthinking but left nauseous and ready for a cleanse - body and mind.

For openers, if you think the best barbecue is usually found in the worst part of town, in a place…read morewith bars on the windows, and just enough grease on the table to write your initials - then this isn't it. This is a barbecue joint (anyplace that serves barbecue is, by definition, a joint) just off the highway in Valdosta, Georgia... and worth all the confusion created when Waze takes you a block too far, and Yelp says they're about to close their doors for the day, which just wasn't the case. The Woodstack BBQ Tavern came into being in 2015 when three guys bought an old liquor warehouse with a monstrous photo of the Budweiser Clydesdale team pulling their famous wagon spanning the front wall. No deal if the building didn't come with the Budweiser mural. Two of thee three, Justin and Randy are running the place now and about to open another in Thomasville. For a guy who has spent a lifetime in pursuit of the perfect barbecue (read my more than 120 barbecue reviews from across the country on Yelp), this is a jewel worth all the confusion finding them and finding them open. Other reviews touch on the friendliness and they're right on... call for info (are you open, Yelp says you're about to close), to when you come thru the door, place your order and pay the tab, it/'s like your back home neighborhood diner. Lisa seems to be keeping things under control out front while folks in the kitchen keep the great 'cue coming. And at good prices. We had the three meat special (with two sides) for $28, but only after some freshly cooked, well seasoned pork rinds ($11 for a healthy serving)... Burnt ends (started by Arthur Bryant in Kansas City more than 50 years ago) were tender, flush with flavor and a great choice. The ribs were good complete with a validating smoke ring, but the best of the threesome we gorged on was the pulled pork. Some of the best the Brown Shoe Gourmet has enjoyed in some time. We skipped their fries (frozen with seasoning) and had their homemade chips (excellent), slaw (slaw that was just that) and fried Brussel sprouts for the one amongst us who doesn't understand that's not a legitimate barbecue joint side dish. She raved about them and made sure there was some left to take home. Go figure. Turns out we missed out on one of Woodstack's best known sides: homemade onion rings. Who knew? Sauces? Yes, three of them: a thin pepper and vinegar, a mustard based sauce and the traditional very slightly spiced tomato sauce - by far the best and worth buying. And while a lot joints now give you half ounce cups of sauce (or make yu stand in line to choose from too many (City Cue are you listening?) Woodstack puts freshly filled bottles on the table. What a novel idea - sample without holding uo a line- letting the customer decide which sauce and how much? A negative? There was one. No colorful tee shirt to add to the collection of more than 200. The dining area is spotlessly clean as are the rest room; the foods is really good and almost all homemade (they use post oak as is the wood of choice throughout Texas) and the hospitality, led by the smiling ball of energy that is Lisa, is outstanding. Five stars to Valdosta's Woodstack. We'll be back next trip south.

So stopped in here as we were looking for a dog friendly restaurant after a vet visit in the area…read more Super glad we did. The staff was exceptional, with even the one of the owners checking on us. My wife and I love good BBQ and had some of the best around the country. The ribs had a nice bite through while still being tender and juicy. The sliced brisket was moist and had a really nice smoke ring on it. They had three barbecue sauces on the table all mad in house 1) original a sweet and smoky bbq, 2) a mustard based sauce, and a pepper vinegar sauce all of which were very good. Now the sides were some of the best I have had in a long time. 1) roasted brussel sprouts in a maple glaze, 2) braised cabbage with bacon, 3) braised collards, and 4) Cajun fries. The restaurant was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be back on our next trip through.
