Jen's is located in downtown Morganfield in an old building and it also has a barber shop in the back of the store. What you will find at Jen's is a little bit of everything. There is an old fountain shop counter that serves ice cream and other delicious drinks. They serve sandwiches. There is candy and different type of sodas everywhere. Things I thought that were unique about Jen's were they bottle their own sweet tea and hot chocolate. It's August when I am writing this but I'm guessing the owner is named Jen, told me they bottle their hot chocolate and people buy it to put on their ice cream. I think I will have to try that. I also just want to try it just to think of it as a cold hot chocolate milk. Also, my milkshake was hand-dipped. It's a brownie with walnuts in it, then a peanut butter layer on top of it and a layer of chocolate ganache on top of that. It's a buckeye in brownie form and it's amazing. I took a bite of these cookies and time traveled to 'taste and tell'. Whatever recipe they use is the same. They are so good!! Out of the three items I bought I didn't have a favorite because everything was amazing in its own right. The brownie was rich and sweet and decadent and had crunchy and creamy and perfection. The basket was 10/10 pure heaven and the cookies were a blast from the past of one of my favorite childhood treats.
