During my first visit, they showed me and explained the cost of the procedures based on my insurance, so there were no surprises. They deep-cleaned my teeth, were thorough, and ensured I was comfortable throughout the visit. Being able to watch TV during the procedure was a nice distraction. The dentists and hygienists are amazing and very gentle. However, the office staff is very incompetent and has poor communication.

This establishment has top notch service in the bag! It's in a cute area in downtown Frisco. Front desk was super friendly and funny! It's clean and comfy and decor is nice. But once I made it to Kim, the dental assistant, she took it to a whole other level! Super attentive, informative and caring! She took the care to wipe down the X-ray vest after use and wore a mask the entire time! She made me feel really comfortable during my cleaning! There is a tv in front of you and once you lie down there is one above you-very cool! Dr. Cooper was very cool and stylish if I must say! She was easy going and informative! I had to have a deep cleaning since it had been a while between visits due to the pandemic . She took great care when administering the numbing shots for the cleaning which was greatly appreciated. I have been a patient since 2021 and have regular preventative care appointments. During my last visit I was offered and advised of fluoride treatment which I accepted and paid for at the conclusion of my visit after staff reviewed my insurance benefits and advised that was all that was owed for the visit. A month later I receive a bill for cleaning services rendered. The practice was in-network with my insurance provider but as of late last year they are now out of network. I should have been informed of this matter at the time of my appointment and not after the fact. read more

Love everything about Sweet Tooth Dental Loft ! The set up and decor is super cute and fancy! I was so impressed with the flat screen TVs at every angle and the massage chair during my cleaning. The ENTIRE staff is so sweet and kind! I had to bring my 8 month daughter with me to my appointment and was so embarrassed when she started to get fussy in her stroller instead of sleeping like I hoped. For several years we have multiple pleasant experiences as a family of four. Two kids were 2/3 and one she saw from 2-6. Cleanings were great. She found 4 cavities and told me she could fill all four the next morning. I confirmed with the person at the front that they'd have laughing gas. They confirmed and said that would make it easy. 7am next morning we arrive and learn there's no laughing gas. They begin. My son, an obedient, well behaved, never a behavior problem kid was a soldier. I could tell he was uncomfortable but he stayed the course. Finally, a little over half way through, he needed a minute to collect himself. Instead of ANY positive reinforcement, Dr Cooper threatened my child that if he continued crying, she'd remove me from the room. She also tersely said "Other patients are waiting! We don't have time for you to cry!" 4 cavities at once, no laughing gas. :( I calmly interjected and asked if I could speak. I asked Dr Cooper to let me calm him, let that be my job. It worked. He was ready to go. Dr Cooper quickly finished (another local dentist later redid this work for free...). As we walked to the front, she pulled me into the office and told me I was to never "put her down" in front of my child. I started to explained that I was trying to help - and then I realized that she's not my boss and walked out. She touched me on the shoulder; I asked her to please not to. She did it again and said closely to my face, "have a great day." WHOA. Passive Aggressive at the least and wildly unprofessionally the most. Clearly, I canceled all future visits for the entire family, and we thankfully have wonderful friends who steered us to compassionate, knowledgeable, pediatric dentists who are patient-centered. The place for us adults who are still afraid of going to the dentist. I wasn't born with great teeth. And my childhood dentist had the bedside manner of a person who hated everything and everyone. So I had a pretty sound fear of the dentist by my late teens. Through the years, I've had some good dentists and some really bad dentists. Which only reinforced my dentist fear. Right before I found out our family was moving due to a promotion, I'd found a great dentist. So here I was in north Dallas, needing a cleaning. I'm ashamed to say it, but I totally skipped a cleaning because I was so scared to start over. My neighbor recommended Dr. Cooper at Sweet Tooth Dental Loft, and after a serious conversation with her 7-year-old daughter, who doesn't like dental visits but assured me she liked Dr. Cooper, I made an appointment. That was two years ago, and I'm still going! Her dental assistants are super nice and don't try to shred your gums with floss. Actually, I've never felt any discomfort during my cleanings. I've also had a filling replaced (it fell off) and, sadly, an extraction because my crown cracked and there wasn't enough tooth to save. These are serious procedures to me, but Dr. Cooper chatted and made me feel comfortable with the help of some nitrous oxide. I've also come in between visits, once for pain after the extraction and once because I thought I had a cavity. Both times they got me in the same day, which I don't know how they pulled that off since it's always super busy. One last thing, Dr. Cooper is very conservative. Dr. Cooper is calm and friendly, provides clear explanations of what she is needing to do, doing or recommending to do and why, patiently answered any questions I had. I agreed to complete the recommended work (2 fillings and replacement of an existing filling) & was pleased to find out I did not have to come back later but instead - the DA began prep immediately and Dr. Cooper began the work as soon as I was ready.
