I had been to this office in the past and never felt it was a good option. However my wife recently visited and I was really impressed at how they treated her and took care her needs and available financial options I was so impressed that I gave them a shot to take care of my Dental work. In fact I am in the room now waiting on my crowns to be ready. I was amazed they could make them onsite and that I didn't have to wait a couple weeks. They mill them here in these special machines. You can actually watch them being made. They test fit them a few moments ago and they fit better than any others I have had. Super excited and very, very impressed with the entire team especially Tammy, and Bonnie at the front desk. If you have been here before and didn't have a good experience I would definitely give them another try. I am glad I did. read more

The most RUDE and JUDGMENTAL staff ever. Do not recommend. 0 stars if I could. At my appointment, the doctor personally told me that my X-rays showed two black masses that "didn't look normal" and that it was urgent a radiologist review them. Naturally, I was alarmed and expected prompt follow-up. Three days later, I still hadn't heard anything, so I called the radiology company myself, only to learn they hadn't even received my images until Monday, even though I was seen on Thursday. A week later, when I followed up with the dentist, I was told they still hadn't heard from the radiologist. When I contacted the radiology company again, they informed me that the case had not been marked as urgent by the dentist, despite what the doctor told me in person. They said they would flag it as urgent themselves, but that it should have been done by the dentist's office from the start. To make matters worse, when I called to have my records transferred, the receptionist hung up on me. When I called back, another receptionist was also very rude and dismissive. This situation was incredibly stressful and handled with a complete lack of urgency or care. If a doctor tells a patient something looks abnormal and needs urgent review, that should be treated seriously, not ignored for days. I would not recommend this office to anyone. read more

Stay away from this place. I had an infection under one of the root-canalled teeth. I wanted to retreat the root canal and clean the infection. Instead, Dr. Sauer highly recommended an implant. Why do I need an implant? because they want to make more money. I asked the doctor to retreat the root canal and clean the infection. He did not agree. I went to Park Endodontics in Plano, TX. I had my teeth cleaned this past Monday with the hygienist Andrea and she did a thorough job, especially on my stubborn permanent lower retainer. I'm currently pregnant and Dr. Sauer suggested some saliva testing, and after a full explanation of the benefits for both me and my baby, I elected to do it and I'm so glad I did. Provided great insight to my overall health. After visiting I made an appointment for both my children to get their teeth cleaned (2 and 4). Dr. Sauer did a great job making the experience a fun learning experience for both of my children. He was patient and kind and they already can't wait for their next appointment in 6 months. I would highly recommend this office! I was told they are starting renovation this weekend so I'm looking forward to seeing the cosmetic updates to the office. read more

A dental clinic with a very poor experience ever! We are here for the family dental insurance (HMO) assigned by the insurance company. We've been there a few times and each time we've had long waits, extremally overquoted statement, and refused to provide basic services covered by insurance if we didn't accept them. It made us very difficult as we keep paying the insurance premium for 8 months, we couldn't do a normal dental cleaning (covered by insurance twice a year) by far. Not transparent. Wasted over two hours just to tell me they don't do sedation. The only question I asked what I booked the appointment was if you do full sedation. Literally amateur hour, I have a small mouth and it took three people to get x-rays. I told them the adult x-ray item was too big for my mouth, but they knew better. They were touching cords, walls, switches, and God knows what else.... Three days later I have some kind of viral cold. When I finally had enough of waiting for my treatment plan, I went to the front office, and the lady was helping other people and not talking to the doctor like she said she would. I should've known it was gonna be an interesting experience. This was my first visit for my daughters consultation regrading braces. I was not pleased right from the beginning. There was no one in the waiting room and took forget for them to call us back. Then when we got back, she said she wasn't ready for us. So we sat back in waiting area. When we got called back the tech seemed like she did not know how to take X-rays. She called some help and that took about 30 minutes. Then onto another X-ray that took about 15 minutes. They were very busy every room packed. We had to wait in room for a tool be be sterilized???? They seemed like all new staff. I prefer prompt attention especially when it's our first visit. For a new consultation for braces on my 14 year old. Not going back. Also a customer was angry at billing saying they was over charging her and billed her insurance things they did not preform on her The office literally set my daughter up for a cleaning and I told them when I scheduled an appointment this was for a braces consult!!!!! I really wish I'd read these reviews before booking. 1/2024 - Initial visit, exam, xrays. Treatment explained to me (included 3 crowns, 2 extractions, 2 implants, among other things). Treatment plan brought to me on paper, I signed. Total price for all services: $4500. I ask Dr. Sauer if that includes the implants because a previous quote I got for just one implant was $7K. He said it did. 2/2024 - Return for cleaning and extractions. Extraction sites are prepped for implants, as it was explained to me (bone grafts, etc). I pay about $2K of the agreed treatment plan. 3/2024 - Return for stitch removal. Told I should come back in 3 months for the bone graft to heal into the bone enough to hold the implants. No appts available for 3 months, soonest is closer to 5 months. It's my understanding that I'll get implants at that time. 8/8/2024 - Return for implants and I'm not sure what else. I go in and am taken in for a deep clean, no one mentions anything else. After the clean, I ask about the implants I'm suppose to be getting. No one knows what I'm talking about. They start talking about how they can prep for them today, and bring a NEW treatment plan. This one is something like $4K more than the original one. I ask why, they said the original one didn't include the implants. I ask them to pull it up and double check, because I asked. They tell me THEY CAN'T PULL IT UP AND IT'S GONE FOREVER, NO ONE CAN ACCESS IT. I tell them I still have it at home and we need to look at it. I am repeatedly told that the treatment plan, that they had me sign, cannot be accessed. I DRIVE ALL THE WAY HOME AND GET MY COPY. I bring it back. They look over it, and while they look over it, I glance at the counter and SEE A COPY OF MY "INACCESSIBLE" TREATMENT PLAN SITTING ON THE COUNTER IN FRONT OF THE RECEPTIONIST. They tell me what I thought were the implants are not, and it's not included. I ask to speak to the dentist. I explain the problem, how I'm now without two teeth and $2K into this treatment plan, how one of the teeth that needs a crown is now broken further because I've been waiting for this appt. He tells me he understands the miscommunication and will see what he can do about the new quote and call me back on 8/13. I'M STILL WAITING FOR THAT CALL. Later in August: Eldorado Smiles calls my husband about his appt and I'm in the car. When he finishes talking to them, I jump on and remind them that I'm still waiting for Dr. Sauer to call about revising my treatment plan. She says she'll talk to him and remind him. Very bad experience today in going as new patient to this facility. I went with so many expectations that I will get my teeth checked and get some idea what needs to be done. According to my appointment at 9 AM, I was there 15 minutes before. I did the e-Checkin. And Doctor came and said Hello and took me on the dental bench. After 2 minutes of introduction, she says, someone will come and take x-rays and check my teeth. I am waiting and waiting for almost 40 minutes. No one shows up. Then one comes to take my X-rays and again left me alone. I waited for 30 more minutes, and no one showed up. Finally, I talked to someone in the hallway, and she said, she is my hygienist and will check it. She did some measurements on Gums and said, it needs deep cleaning. She goes back to check if I have to pay something out of pocket for that. And does not come back in next 15 minutes. It is almost 2 hrs since I checked in, when I said enough is enough and I just walk out very disappointed. I reported it to Cigna also that I do not want to be a patient in this facility. read more

Hello, I got my braces removed yesterday. The staff were very nice and considerate, but the outcome of my teeth I am disappointed in. At first glance I didn't notice it, but my dad said that my bottom and upper teeth appear to be sticking outwards at an angle when they should be facing vertically straight. I am very concerned and worried, as to if this problem can even be fixed. I don't want to have to pay for another treatment when I just ended one. Avoid unless you want to be upsold to "special cleanings" on every visit. I went here because I needed to find a new dentist post-pandemic. I hadn't been in a couple of years, so they sold me on ~$200 upgrade on the cleaning. Whatever. I went six months later, and apparently, my gums are rotting, I'm facing bone loss, and the upgraded cleaning will be $600 (after insurance). When I ask about other options, I'm told I can finance it. (Not the point.) I end up asking the dental hygienist how much for just a basic cleaning like I've had throughout my entire childhood and adult life. She begins a song and dance. What if they file that on my insurance and then in a few months I decide I want their super special cleaning? That would look like fraud. Oh, and they couldn't in good conscience give me a lesser cleaning when I need the deep cleaning. I say: so it's $600 or no cleaning? She says yes. They can give me a courtesy polish only. I have been here for a cleaning and have scheduled a tooth extract and it has been moved about 2-3 times. I called 2 days before my final appointment to confirm because I hadn't heard anything since the week before and once I was on the phone, I found out that they didn't even put it on the schedule. I called again the day of my appointment to confirm because I haven't heard anything back and it turned out that the doctors can't take me in for my appointment. The staff then proceeded to put me on hold and ask to do it the next day, but what I don't understand is if I had come in on the day of my appointment at the scheduled time, what would have happened? Fast forward to today - I go in because I have a follow up appointment with the doctor. I get in and they tell me I'm not on the schedule again when I have the texts and voicemails confirming the appointment for today... they proceeded to tell me they called ahead to let me know that it needs to be rescheduled. I didn't get any call. This appointment was supposed to be done 2 months ago and they have consistently neglected to get me in. The staff here is incompetent- go to a different dentists. read more

Dr Andress took a personal interest in assisting my dental needs. I had called hoping just to get worked in to have an older crown reseated. Instead, Dr Andress ordered X-rays and did a complete assessment of my issue. Finding the issue was more involved then a simple recementing of a crown, she added me onto her busy schedule and not only repaired the broken tooth but also fit me with a new crown as the old one had also been broken. She advised me as to care of the new crown and developed a treatment plan moving forward, offering multiple options for treatment. She took time to explain each option, in laypeson terms, so I could understand what I needed to do. As a result of my experience and comfort, I will be asking for her in the future for all my dental treament. read more

Went in 1 month ago and complained to the partner/dentist about her. He said he would address. Office manager came and apologized to me while I was in the office making up excuses as to why she didn't have her mask covering her nose. The absolute worst place to go. They will overcharge you every chance they get. I found out in April 2022 that they overcharged me by $287 for two different crowns. I provided the proof to the office manager, Anthony Gibson and he said he would look into it. I have called back a few times and each time he says he is working on it or waiting for something. Whenever they have an orthodontist, they aren't very good either. They always foulup our appointments and overcharge as well. My wife and kids had braces there and had to have them much longer than they were quoted because the orthodontist did something wrong and then it was nearly impossible to get another appointment. We have been waiting to go back for the broken retainers for 4 months but they haven't had another orthodontist. read more

If I could I would give this office a 0 rating. We are retired and on Medicare. We contacted them and they told us they took our insurance. Upon their evaluation of the work we needed done they told us the amount. They encouraged us to open an account with them. Come to find out they never submitted this to our insurance. Remember this office did take our insurance and we verified that with our insurance provider. After our insurance provider contacted them Eldorado smiles submitted the proper paper work. Our provider paid them their contracted fee. Eldorado Smiles took that money @nd never applied any of it to our account. In essence they were paid twice for work done. Eldorado Smiles will not take any phone calls or try to discuss this situation. I would not recommend this office. Very very poor customer relations and office personnel. read more

Destiny Smith from Aetna Corporate Office has spoke to Cooper, Anthony, and I have spoken with Heather,Anthony and multiple people in the billing department but I still do not have my money. At this point based on the service I have received and the reviews online it does not seem that people receive refunds or service.Please someone call me immediately about my refund. I am a single mother of 4 and I work very hard for every dime that I have. I've tried to get treatment from here, but have been quoted $40, 000 to $56,000 for implants. I was delayed because your office accidentally removed the entire facility from Aetna DMO back in July and it took over a month to correct. In the meantime my mouth got so bad that on last Friday my daughter called because I was in so much pain that I couldn't take it anymore. Anthony advised me too come into the office and another doctor looked in my mouth and was hitting the teeth with her dental utensils and caused more pain and started quoting the rates for implants AGAIN! I was crying and I'm pain. I had to leave and Anthony FINALLY scheduled a Saturday appointment for Tim Wang to get the teeth removed. Dr. Wang's office called and canceled as they said the way it was sent over was a full mouth extraction for dentures. I am appalled at the service I received. I was accused of "Dentist Hopping," by Anthony so I am hurt by my experience. I had to find a dentist who came in after hours and pulled the 2 teeth and I paid out of pocket. I have been given a quote of $56,000 for dental implants when I know the price is wrong. Anthony told me just pay the higher price and anything that is incorrect will be refunded. I was scheduled with Dr.Wang, they gave me appointment for month and half later, but they ran credit history for payment process and took first installment and urged me to confirm everything in two days after scheduled(but appointment is after month and half later). I'm super disappointed! I was seen here for over 5 years. In the initial sit down with Dr Sauer's I made it very clear that I wanted to make sure I stayed cavity free. I had my regular check ups, cleanings, and x-rays. Each visit I asked if he saw anything that needed to be addressed or any cavities. One day I go to an appointment and I was told I needed a root canal. What, why?! If my tooth was at the point of a root canal, then I don't feel like there is any way they would have missed a cavity. In my opinion it's because they wanted to make more money. Care would have been much cheaper to fill a cavity vs. a root canal. I am very disgusted that this is what we put our trust and money into. So if you want an empty wallet then feel free to give them a try. If you need a dentist who is looking out for your dental health then look somewhere else. read more

First of all, Buyer be very aware with this practice! This is a practice which revolves around up-selling patients and creating things to sell their services. This practice is not about patients well-being, rather its all about "how to extract maximum money from their patients and their insurance companies". Always double check your insurance billings from this practice and make sure what you paid and what your insurance pays to them, adds to correct amounts. They consistently cheat insurance companies and their patients. Office staff is rude and incompetent beyond belief. The dentists themselves are mediocre at best. I had a very good experience with Eldorado Smiles. My dental insurance changed and required me to switch dental offices. I was apprehensive about Eldorado Smiles because the reviews were mixed. However, I needed to get in quickly for a cleaning before having braces put on. They got me in right away. Dr. DiRusso was thorough, professional and kind. He walked me through everything, was respectful of my time, and even did part of the cleaning himself. The hygienist did push me to buy an electric toothbrush but I opted not to and instead purchased it on sale at Costco. read more

I've been to Eldorado smiles twice now. The first time I was there for over 5 hours when I was told I would be there only one hour maybe two. The second time the same thing happened. It's not like I had anything complicated or serious work done either. This place is very unorganized as far as time management goes & they don't seem to care about it either. Maybe there isn't enough staff? Not sure what the issues is but if you plan on going here make sure you clear your schedule for the whole day! My daughter had a 1pm appointment. But after an hour in the waiting room the receptionist said all the rooms were booked. They'd been double booked all day, and she had no estimated wait time.
