I tried a scoop of the Strawberry Matcha on a plain waffle cone while my fiancé tried an Orange Cream Milkshake. My ice cream was absolutely delicious! The matcha flavor was bold but without the tea's natural bitterness, and the frozen strawberries were a yummy add in for sweetness. My one complaint is that I couldn't finish my waffle cone because the glue on the paper wrapper got stuck to it. I'm not normally a creamsicle fan but the Orange Cream was pretty tasty and as bubbly as it could get. Not to mention, the super bendy straw they gave us for it was fun to make shapes with! They were set up and ready to serve on time and that is a huge plus in our neighborhood. We ordered the Crawfish Etoufee, Oxtails, Peach Cobbler and Banana Pudding. The portion sizes were enough for me to have left overs. I loved the creation of the Peach Cobbler wrapped with a waffle cone. It was tasty. Everything was perfect and I will definitely be on the lookout for them when I am craving Soul Food.
