Everything about this place is awesome! The food, the service, the atmosphere and especially the people. I've never had a single item that Zoey and her crew make that isn't amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend going and checking out their great restaurant. If your looking for something that is different and great to eat here in Casper... this is your place! Don't forget to try the baklava and hummus, because when you do you'll end up buying some to take it home. We love coming here for lunch and so grateful we have this Mediterranean food in town! What is even more exciting, is that they are moving to a new location and adding more items to their menu! My friend and I both ordered the gyro combo last night for our first experience with Sweet Zoey. I have a few disappointments in regard to the authenticity of the food and restaurant as a whole, but the food was truly delicious. Being from New York and having grown up with many Greek friends (eating at their homes by the hands of their parents who had immigrated here from Greece) and a plethora of authentic Mediterranean restaurants around, I feel I have a relatively solid ground on the authenticity of Greek food. From the start I was put off by the restaurant name, and had never even considered looking into eating there before because Sweet Zoey sounds like a bakery or candy shop or another spot for ice cream. Then you have the menu, which is an uncomfortable mixture of odd drink concoctions and Greek food that is offered in overly-Americanized ways. If there are misfit items on a menu or they are seemingly trying too hard to Americanize the food of another culture, I immediately doubt the quality and authenticity and think it a shame to misrepresent food in that way. And to be clear, there's a huge difference between fusion and Americanization. I much prefer receiving as much of an authentic experience as possible. Would you go to a Mexican restaurant that made sandwich versions of their tacos or also served waffles? Maybe Leslie Knope would if they had whipped cream on the waffles, but I wouldn't; It's a red flag. Anyway, It's very common for restaurants to serve meat that's a mixture of beef and lamb for their gyros but I always find that disappointing because you can't get a true gyro experience without the option of pork. Pork is the #1 thing served in Gyros in Greece, chicken is second, lamb and beef are rare. Thank you Americanization. Sweet Zoey's American gyros are amazing though. I downed mine in full gluttonous bliss. The Baba Ganoush was an unpleasant experience overall; the flavor simply was off and both my friend and I did not eat it past a couple tastings. Their hummus was simply alright (tried the spicy and the regular) but it definitely lacked in flavor, which largely has to do with quality of the olive oil and chickpeas. But to be fair, WY is sadly barren from truly good quality ingredients as a whole. You have to have grace for that. The Tabbouleh was the most different interpretation from any I've experienced from my adventures with Mediterranean food over the years. However, it was bloody delicious; I couldn't get enough! In conclusion, I was incredibly confused by this menu, the restaurant name, and disappointed by the Americanization of things, but the food is delicious. I would recommend eating here any day, just skip the Baba Ganoush and make some homemade to try it if you've never experienced it before, because it truly is a delicious experience. The food is fresh, there's a decent variety of options, and you can tell everything is made with intention and care. Those are three things that sadly surpass what most restaurants around here offer. If you're not expecting authenticity but rather an Americanized twist on Greek food, you will not be disappointed with Sweet Zoey. Go! Eat! Then go again :) read more

The Gyro meat was very old, maybe close to a week. It was crunchy when I bit into it. I'm bummed. Was hoping to like this place.

We are new to the area, and we found a gem! Sweet Zoey's is incredible! We've tried just about everything on the menu and we can't say we ordered a "miss". We're batting 1000 and loving it. Restaurant runs like a dream too, fast and friendly. You won't be disappointed. Try something new on your next trip to Sweet Zoey's and don't leave out dessert! This is my favorite restaurant in town. After living out of Casper for a while and returning, I was bored with the usual options. I was so excited to try out this authentic Mediterranean cafe. The servings are large and the food is absolutely delicious. We had Biryani on a Friday night, the lentil soup, tabbouleh, and baklava. We had great service from the owner and we only waited 5 minutes for our first plate. I have also had cheese fatira for breakfast and it was delicious. Their espresso was earthy and rich. If you don't get baklava, you are making a mistake. It is the best I have ever had. read more

Just had lunch at one of the best Greek restaurants ever (including Denver and NYC). The soup was fresh and savory, the Greek pizza tasty and the baklava out of this world delicious. My friend reported her gyro was equally as good. What a delightful place for lunch! read more
