In the fall of 2025 wonderful house received new owners and gave the inside of the restaurant a deep cleaning and facelift. It was well needed and a lot of people in town were not wanting to eat here anymore. Including myself. Thought I'd give it a chance and glad I did. so I've been three times now since the new ownership is taken over close to six months ago. Every time I've had great service, great food and the value for the amount of food you get as well as the quality is superb. The only thing that hasn't been outstanding, was the egg drop soup. It was very clear and bland. The hot and sour soup is above average however, the wonton soup is probably the best soup. They definitely have the best sesame chicken in town now. It's super crunchy and tender on the inside at the same time. It has just the right amount of sweetness and a touch of spiciness. I generally order extra spicy though. I've also tried three of the beef dishes, and they've all been excellent. Including today, I had the beef with snow peas. The amount of beef and the amount of snow peas was ridiculous for a lunch portion. I was blown away with the generosity for the price. Not to mention the snow peas were super thin and crispy and I could not but to believe how ridiculously sweet they were. I also ordered this dish extra spicy and it was just right probably a 6.5 out of 10 by ordering it extra spicy. Hot enough that you're getting that great red chili crunch/chili oil flavor, But not so hot that it's gonna make your tummy upset. I also love the fried rice here now. It's perfect as it Doesn't have carrots or peas, which I find unnecessary & there's just the right amount of egg. I addition the color and the fry on the rice is perfectly golden brown and not oily. The atmosphere still is a little cold and void of a cultural feel. I wish they would put on some music or Something to make It seem more exciting. However, if the food stays as good as it is, and the service stays on point, I will continue to be a patron of theirs in the future. read more

Came to Casper for the night for a concert. We don't have any Chinese restaurants in our town, so was looking forward to one. Found the yelp reviews very helpful and chose Wonderful House. Very clean and very fast friendly service. Located in an older strip mall but modern inside. Bar looked great! We had lunch combo plates beef and snow pea, and shrimp chow mein. Yummy! A wonderful place to get take out. The staff are very friendly, but having to eat with some of the usual customers can be a turnoff. Many are rude and make no effort to listen to the staff's easy-to-understand accents. Down to the food- it's really great! I've never had an issue with anything being overly salty, as some suggest. I never salt things, so I'm really sensitive to it. Most breaded chicken is to be avoided for takeout, as it tends to be overcooked to begin with. But eaten right away, it's fantastic. Their Wor Wonton Soup is divine- one of the best things on the menu in my opinion. I'm also a fan of the almond chicken. True combos are also good if eating in. Okay I have been there twice now... First time I ordered lemon chicken because my friend loves it so much. The chicken was so dried out and over cooked it was not edible. I got it refired and it was the same...didn't eat it. My friend who talked so much about the place somehow choked hers down. The second time I ordered shrimp and brocoli. It was cooked nicely and the brocoli was still crispy however there was almost no sauce on it and what sauce there was had almost no flavor... The best chinese food I have found out here is the Full House in Mills. I still miss NYC chinese places though were you can actually get fresh fish on the menu and get things that are not even on the menu.... WONDERFULL HOUSE NOT SO WONDEFULL TO ME. read more

No Covid protection!! Ordered food for the family for pickup while in quarantine. When hubby went into the restaurant to get the food, the pickup area was packed!! No one wearing masks or gloves. The guy who takes the phone orders behind the bar, was coughing and sweating. He told my husband that it would be an additional 30-40min wait after we had scheduled the order for an hour in advance. My husband told him to cancel the order because he wasnt going to stay in the packed waiting room. About an hour & a half later I got a phone call from the same guy at the bar letting me know my order was ready for pick up.... I told him we canceled the order. He then called my husband a liar and that we had to come get the food. I politely let him know that he definitely does not want me to come back down there, especially after his attitude and crappy customer service!! After reading many mix reviews about this place I decided to check it out for myself. I ordered beef fried rice, shrimp egg fu young and egg rolls. The rice was ok but everything else was very questionable. The shrimp egg fu young was an thin patty that seemed not fully cooked. The veggies and shrimp was thrown on top and had no gravy. The texture was very gummy and not pleasing. the eggs rolls were questionable when I placed the order because I was told they are hamburger egg rolls. That was a hint to not even get them but the man told me they were amazing but no they were not. read more

My Mom enjoys going to this restaurant and finally got the chance to take me. The service was so fast it was crazy! I barely had a chance to use the restroom before our food was out on the table. The food was fresh and good - I guess after awhile all Chinese food tastes the same to me. Food I bought today was one of my favorite standbys; Sesame Beef. The worst I've ever had. There was literally no meat inside and the breading was fried and burnt with old grease. It was so gross I couldn't finish and complained about it. All the said was sorry and then gave me the bill. It is the last time I will set foot in that place again. I was here on vacation with family and we had craving for Chinese food. Wonderful House got to be the best Chinese food and service in town. Every dishes we ordered was perfection.
