Today took my son and his sister who is visiting for Ice cream. It was good ice cream but a bit…read moredisappointed. Walt is a great guy and I haven't seen him for many years as I used to stop here often. Anyhow, my son's sister asked for a cone and wanted Vanilla, but she got a chocolate one just like my son did, I think she was confused when Walt asked if she wanted the same thinking he meant the cone, and she said yes but she was afraid to speak up. Anyways finding out she can't have chocolate ice cream after it was melting I asked if he was able to get her vanilla and has a chocolate allergy. He took the cone to the sink, emptied the ice cream out and rinsed the cone with water. Instead of just getting a new cone. When he gave it to us he said you may want to eat it it's getting soggy. She started to eat that cone and found a few small black hairs. She didn't mention that to me until after we left. I think it was also because she had a Spider-Man shirt on and he said here ya go buddy thinking she was a boy. Then instead of asking if I wanted something he put the scooper in the sink. I said if I could get a dish of ice cream too please... and I get you got to make your money for your own little business but $24 for 3 ice creams was really steep!

It is indeed pretty small; there's an "in" door and an "out" door so and since the line can form pretty quickly. They're pretty fast though, so even if the line is close to the door (which it was once when I visited) you'll still be out within about 10 minutes or fewer. One of my favorite things from Sweet Life are their morning pastries--specifically, their cinnamon roll and the lemon cream bun. Both are amazing, and whilst the cinnamon roll is my personal favorite, if you have to choose get the lemon cream bun. It's different from something you've tried before; you can't get one of these everywhere and it's amazing. Their tiramisu is good too, and the some of their other cakes. Check out their specials--there's always something good to choose from. This location has no dedicated parking, just a few spots on the street (shared with Prince Puckler's, the pizza place, and other businesses around). There's a lot of outdoor seating, nice for warm summer evenings.
