This store was so awesome. It had a great selection of books. On top of that, it had the most adorable gift selection with stickers, stationary, and anything a person looking for the coolest things would want. In addition, Katie, who was the sales person was so on top of knowing the books and the products and a joy to talk to. I was there with my two daughters and they had the same experience. We will be back next time we visit Charleston. read more

I have been wanting to see the inside of this bookstore ever since it opened. It is located right on King Street, in the heart of downtown Charleston! If you love romance novels, this is the bookstore of your dreams! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by shelves filled with all the most recent romance novels! The space is cozy, inviting, and very pink -- it's clear this shop was created by someone who truly loves the genre. I could've spent forever looking around. This place is incredible. I recommend to all the fiction and romance book girlies out there. I loved the vibe of the place with all the girls shopping around - it was such a fun, safe, feminine, and energetic experience. They have great stuff too and it was so easy to find anything you'd be looking for! The staff was extremely helpful too, offering all kinds of recommendations. Very nice and cute romance bookstore on King St! They had a great selection of romance books, book merch, bookmarks, candles, stickers, kindle cases, and more. The staff is what truly stood out to me upon visiting this store. At least 3 different workers spoke to us and made very nice conversation, as well as provided book recommendations. From the photos on instagram, I had such a good feeling that this bookstore & I would be kindred spirits. Walking around the store & seeing so many of my favorite authors & books I read, I knew I was right! Definitely going to be a frequent visitor here. The book selection was great but I was even more impressed with the other items like notepads, totes, etc. thoughtfully curated and so unique. The happiest to have this new shop downtown. read more

I LOVED this store. I happened upon it on a rainy day last week and immediately wished we had one here in Seattle. I could only buy one book with my luggage space but I grabbed some stickers and perused the cute stationary and accessories too. The staff person was super sweet and gave me great recommendations. The cutest store in Charleston! So glad I was able to stop in, they had a great selection of books and related items, I wanted to buy every thing in the store. Highlights were their candles and stickers - had a deal where if you buy four stickers your fifth one is free. Staff were kind and helpful. There are quite a bit of book stores in Charleston and Mt Pleasant , SC, but this was by far the best I found for romance lovers. We found it by accident and what a fun atmosphere it had. If you are a romance reader of any fiction genre this will be your favorite bookstore. They also had cute bags, shirts, and other items that were reasonably priced. And the cherry on top was the shop is adorable and had a cute couch and background drop to take photos at. Wait I,m not done the staff was friendly and made the experience even better! The shop itself is cute with lots of trendy little stickers and note cards. It is a smaller store so limited inventory (which I totally understand) but variety was limited to popular/currently trending only. Was disappointed that older classical romance books were not part of the store. I'm def a sucker for packaging and have been on the hunt for some beautiful hardcover classic (romance) books and was hoping to find some here. Def a very specific store. read more

This is my happy place. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable, it's a completely judgment-free zone, and the selection is unbeatable. They always have something fun going on, whether it's a surprise safe drawing for prizes, a book club, and more! They also have a dedicated stationary section with a rolling bookshelf ladder (yes, obsessed), and fun stickers and keychains. If you're a book lover check this place out, and if you're interested in getting into romance this is where you need to go! There's sure to be something for everyone! read more

I was…read moreoverwhelmed coming in seeing how many scent options there were to choose from, but it actually ended up being a way easier process picking scents than I expected! The employee helping our group was very friendly, and did a great job walking us through the process as well as helping people figure out if their scent combinations worked well or needed some other suggestions. The process started with deciding what you wanted to make, and then moving to the scent walls to pick out fragrances that you wanted to add to your product. I decided to make a candle and picked out the tobacco scent oil to mix with a couple beachy scent oils. Once you had picked your scents you put a few drops of each into a container and were able to confirm that you actually liked this combo and didn't want to switch any scents. And then from there, you kept adding scent oils and tweaking proportions until you had the amount needed for the product you were making. My candle was ready to pick up the next morning, and I am really happy with how it turned out! You can choose to pick up your product (if you don't make something that will immediately be ready to take home) or to have them ship it to you. Overall, this was a really fun experience with items you could make at a wide range of prices and great customer service. I highly recommend checking them out!

We made an appointment, but because it was a holiday, they weren't crowded. The lovely staff member was so friendly and helpful - she was an absolute delight! She explained the process, helped make suggestions on pairings/ratios to help the scent remain balanced, and had a great playlist going on top of it! We went through and smelled pretty much everything in the store and finally narrowed it down. Once instructed on how to mix the scents, she helped fill the diffuser and the refill bottle. The space itself is very cute, with plenty of options to choose from. It is probably $20-$50/per item, but the experience make it so fun. It won't be something I do every week, but it's definitely something everyone could enjoy. They highly recommend appointments, but can accommodate walk-ins if able.

When my friend, who is the one who introduced us to mead in the first place mind you, said he didn't appreciate that tone and didn't find it funny, the bartender then proceeded to tell my family to "Get out then." My sweet parents were obviously floored, as was everyone else in my group. Never in my life have I witnessed such appalling customer service. What is ironic is that the friend who was spoken so rudely too was the one who tried to introduce my whole family to mead who could and probably would have been the biggest mead fans. I will not be recommending this place to people for mead and will instead warn against the horrible customer service. Unfortunate, as it is a super cute shop that we spent a lot of time in while waiting around, but that bartender will and already has caused problems for this business.

I walked in and immediately felt calm from the beautiful set up and all the gorgeous plants around us. Outside they also had a nice selection of outdoor perennials and annuals for the garden. It was hard not to want to buy up everything but in the end I settled on a new pottery book. I chatted a bit with the woman behind the counter and she was so welcoming and friendly. This spot is everything I want a shop like this to be.

Absolutely love this place! The owners are both super kind and give great recommendations for books…read more& wine. I love that their wine menu rotates so there's always something new to try. Great selection of books and if they don't happen to have a book you want in stock, you can order it and they'll text you when it comes in. (Mine arrived super quickly & my preorder arrived the day the book was out) I need to get in there on a trivia or bingo night.

I came…read morein for the first time this weekend with a couple of friends to discuss our latest book obsession, and it was a perfect spot for this. They have $1 popcorn which tastes just like movie theater popcorn, 1 cent Swedish fish, coffees, alcoholic beverages, and some other small food items. The popcorn and Swedish fish were delicious. I also had an iced coffee with oat milk and it definitely hit the spot! The environment is quiet enough to read and relax, or converse with your friends at the bar. I really enjoyed coming here and hope to be back soon!
