Haven't been to a Sweet Frog in a while but this visit was exceptional. When we walked in, we were greeted by the young woman behind the counter. She was warm and friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. After browsing some of the flavors, I asked about the ingredients in several of the flavors and was so impressed by her knowledge and readiness to look up what she didn't know by heart. SHE HAD AN ENTRE BOOK OF INGREDIENTS! And many of the common questions were highlighted in different colors. I was taken aback because you don't often get that level of information in a frozen yogurt spot. There were so many flavors with natural dyes and very little preservatives or extra stuff. This place is fine - like just ok. We had 3 small make your own bowls and cost $25. I noticed the small container fits in the medium container and fit the most part they are the same size. The inside part where you get yogurt is fine. The seating is where it's terrible. Inside basically has a long wall with stools where no family will sit. They have an awkward corner table that doesn't look like you would want to sit at it either. They have 2 employees whose job it is to keep yogurt full and the mixings. Bill was $23.99 and was surprised to get just $1.01 back as change. I threw it in the tip bucket and felt bad as I looked at these 2 teenage girls working. I felt bad until we went to find a place to eat our yogurt. The tables outside are filthy and covered with weeks worth of pollen. The beach chairs have dried drips of icecream and nastiness all over all of them. The employees cannot be bothered to go outside and wipe anything down. Frozen yogurt doesn't travel well. You want yo sit and enjoy it when you are with your family. You won't find that experience at this location. I must not be the only one that feels this way - hardly any customers. My suggestion is that you require your employees - you have more then1 - go outside and wipe your chairs and tables off. I would look at the configuration of seating inside and do better. Sweet frogs has been around a while - but there are better options in same plaza and road. Minimum you could do is have clean seating. It's evident your seating outside may only get cleaned with rain. Just my thoughts - yogurt was fine but won't be back. read more

Very nice owners, me and my family were in the shopping center this morning and we parked in front of Sweet Frog, when we got back to our car we noticed we had a flat tire.The owner came out and offered me and my whole family free ice cream while we waited for AAA that was very nice of them we appreciate it. This was my second time at a Sweet Frog and it was so much better than my first. The yogurt was less tart and I really enjoyed the sugar cookie flavor. My son had chocolate and loved it. The toping variety was good. I liked the shaved chocolate as well as the candy toppings. I just wish the flow was better. The path is narrow to go through and pay. First time trying a yogurt shop like this. I'm visiting my family down here, in NC. There are a few frozen yogurt places similar to this where I live in NY but I haven't even tried those yet back home. I was impressed with their flavor selection. A few reviewers commented on them being out of flavors but there had to be at least 18??? flavors to choose from when I went. I loved that you could sample the flavors before choosing what you wanted... Try enough samples and you might not need to buy a dish. Hahahah. My favorite was the cake batter!! There are lots of toppings to choose from. I could definitely see how the price could add up fast because it is based on weight. Kind of wished some of the topping pieces were broken up smaller. Right now they are running a holiday special where if you buy a certain amount $ of gift certificates, you get a certain amount certificate free. (For instance, buy $15 in gift certificates, get a $3 certificate free). Will definitely return!!! Yummy!!!! read more

I went at my own risk. The person behind the counter was not wearing a mask. I did not see a visible sign for a mask and a woman and three kids were getting yogurt without mask. One kid had her hand in one of the toppings. The only hand sanitizer was at the register, not at the cups. I should have walked out but I'm putting my vaccine to the test. read more

Horrible! 2/3 yogurt is out. No chocolate! No swirl. No vanilla. Told girl that we didn't want to eat because everything was out and she just looked at us. Hazards outside. Lock cord for tables was left outside. There is also an opening to road from patio and we watched several kids tonight called by parents back from road. read more

I know so many people that LOVE Sweet Frog, but I have yet to be blown away with it. This is my 3-4 time there and I haven't had something that made me want to go right back. Like many of the reviews I too found that most if not half of the flavor were unavailable or out. And when I tied the ones they did have I was meh. I found the yogurt to be more of a sorbet then yogurt, and the flavors were very fake tasting. Peanut butter was one it was like a powder peanut butter, and just down right bad. I tried the mint it tasted like mint but left an after taste that was far from refreshing. But like so many of the reviews the customer service was colder then the yogurt. When I walked in I was greeted to Sweet Frog but it was far from a smile. When I asked for a sample cup he dust waved a basket in front of me. Not oh sure here you go, no problem, let me suggest, just a mute take the cup and go. When I checked out the lady was a nicer and said how much she loved the flavor I had. Honestly, between the selection, or lack of, the poor quality of yogurt, and lack of customer service I don't see what all the fuss is about. read more

This sweet frog has a different feel than the one near hanes mall. The yogart does not taste as good when compared to the other location and as compared to other yogart places. Apparently at this store, the workers have to fill your sample cups for you, is it because they don't trust you to fill it up by yourself? Its not a health code matter because if that was the case, store workers would have to fill your purchase cups as well. That was insulting to customers and when we were there, other customers had similar reactions. When we thought she was going to hand the sample cups to us, she snapped back with an attitude and said that they had to fill it up for us. The 2 workers there were not friendly and they seemed miserable to be working there. They were cleaning up and packing up all the supplies/utensils/toppings even way before the store was to close. This location was very small and had a claustrophobic feel, definitely not a romantic date night place. And the prices per oz is not a good deal for the overall feel of the place. So I live in the area. Been through this place under three different brands. This has to be the worse. As previous poster stated more flavors out than in. The floor has not been replaced in years and needs it badly. I really wonder how they can get passing health grades with such poor conditions. Half the machines seem to never be working or available with flavors. The staff seem to have become sample Nazis when you're wanting to test a new flavor. The coolers that do work put out super icy froyo, not the smooth creamy textured product that Brynn's has, or even on a lower scale Frogurt. The floorspace itself is a little too narrow and there's always bottlenecking in the seating area and service path. As a Christian, I can certainly appreciate the different themes as well as the music choice there, but the service has always seemed halfhearted and more like a bunch of teenagers just standing around. It's very interesting to me that it, and Frogurt somehow need at least four people to do the same amount of work and business that Brynn's does. If you're looking for convenience in Clemmons, then sure drive by here. It's not that I won't ever give them my business, but most times, I'll drive the extra 10 minutes up to Winston for better value. One nice positive about the place is during good weather lots of outdoor seating. read more

They have a very limited selection of flavors and they won't let anyone get a sample for themselves ( I'm not crazy about someone's hands being all over a cup I am going to eat out of). I live in the neighborhood and have tried this place 4 times over the past year hoping that each previous impression was just an off day. Each time I've walked out...today will be the last time. The first thing that hits you upon entering is the smell. There is a very serious plumbing/sewage issue in this place that has not been addressed for going on a year now. The only difference today was that the smell of the bleach they're using to try to cover the smell only served to turn it from "raw sewage" to "chlorinated sewage". If you're into the "eating frozen yogurt beside an open sewer in Calcutta" vibe and can get past the smell, don't expect much in the way of variety. Every other yogurt dispenser is empty, and the ones that actually have anything in them are off-the-wall flavors like sugar free pecan, etc. I guess the only way this place stays in business is a small loyal following of white fundies who are willing to hold their noses and choke down a $10.00 tub of Peppermint Patty yogurt with sprinkles because Jesus hates Obama...or something. Plenty of places to sit, though, so one star. I know this review sounds harsh, but when the owners of a small business so obviously do not give a damn about their customers, and think that a bunch of God posters on the wall is an adequate excuse, the gloves gotta come off. read more

I'm very disappointed with the quality of the yogurt. It used to be nice and creamery but now it's watery and the texture is not smooth at all. Plus there isn't much variety to choose from like it used to be. Also when asked for a sampler cup, they changed their policy where the workers had to serve you the sample. We had such an unpleasant and unfortunate experience at the Clemmons Sweet Frog tonight. We tend to visit this one specifically because we live close by. We've gone to various Sweet Frog franchises over the past 7 years across several states and have never had a problem with any except this one. I've wanted to write a poor review for a while because there's never a "good" experience when we go here. The staff provides minimum welcome and stays behind the curtain talking instead of greeting and welcoming guests. They lack in a flavor variety - always. Tonight, we went as a family to use our "free" voucher through my phone number due to all my visits (last time we went the cashier said "next time you visit you'll get a free one.") They keep track on their end with a phone number of your visits (the free one is earned after 10 purchases). Tonight I was informed that I no longer had my free one because the earned reward expires after 2 weeks. It's not the free ice cream (or lack thereof) that frustrates me. It's the TOTALITY of the negative experiences at this particular facility. You plan to go based on a free earned ice cream and it's suddenly, according to their varying rules, expired, and she informs me that I'll earn my next one in 9 more visits.
