I had such a great time, I ended up going for the "The Bailey Banana" and honestly I think it was the right choice. It wasn't too overpowering with the sugar, and you can literally taste all the different flavors in it. The service was the best, friendly, sweet, and amazing :) And the ambiance, they do know how to put you in a good mood, they have a very cool backyard where you can play a bit if you want to burn some of the calories you're eating or just hang out at their outdoor lounge.

    Cool truck!

Twin City has the best sundaes in town! On this visit with Yelp Event, we had Cotton candy and The Old Salem. Creamy and Delicious! They're always busy, but have quick and great service. I really like their outdoor dining area with all the fun games for the whole family to enjoy! Thanks Yelp for another great event. Cool way to end the Summer!

Definitely not"just a dad,"He's a really cool dad with a killer ice-cream haven for the Deadheads, the kids, and ice-cream lovers!

The whole vibe was spot on! From the moment we walked up and were greeted so warmly to the games, the fun for the whole family all the little details of the menu, delivery, and the yummest ice-cream treats! Thank you so much for having us! And a BIG thank you to Eirk and the YelpNCTriad team!

My wife and I came to Twin City Sweets for a Yelp event last year which is how we learned about it. At that time, there was a Harry Potter theme. We brought back our two granddaughters and their parents. Our daughter-in-law is a big Harry Potter fan, and we knew she would like the theme since it included plenty of cool stuff for sale. Unfortunately, when we got there, we learned that the themes are only short-lived and they change. There was no theme the day we were there this time. We all had different ice creams and went to the play area to sit and eat them. There are many things for young kids to do, including toys, activities, and things to ride on (like teeter-totters). There's also lots of seating for the old folks, too, and stuff to do like play cornhole. The service is super friendly, the ice cream is delicious, and there is a lot of space for the young ones to run around and work out their sugar high. Highly Recommended!

We are so lucky to have a great place just a few minutes down the road from us. We've been going here since it was a little shack on the side of a gravel parking lot and have loved seeing it grow into what it is now. I love that we can get ice cream and watch the kids run around and play with various things and burn off some of that sugar. Also plenty of options to join in the play as well, with cornhole boards, plastic axe throwing, large tetris game and plenty of seating. The staff are always excellent. The themes, when relevant are fun and I've never had anything bad from here ever. I always take anyone visiting and they always love it too.

Great place. Not overpriced Hershey ice cream with fun names and good toppings. Small was generous. The outdoor space with games, kiddie toys, photo backgrounds and corn hole. Super fun. Music to listen to. Plenty of seating. 5 stars for me! Will go back again.

Two of our favorites all rolled into one as we close out summer and head into fall (at least I hope we're done with 90 degree temps). Twin City Sweets X Elderflour If you haven't had the chance to try Gee's delicious baked goods or if you love them but want to try them with something new, head to Twin City this weekend for a limited time collab! They'll be serving up cobbler sundaes until Sunday (unless they sell out sooner) and you've got two delicious options to choose from: *| spiced peach cobbler sundae *| blackberry cobbler sundae

I finally tried Twin City Sweets. I loved the fun atmosphere and delicious treats. They do themed weeks and this one was Harry Potter. The staff was nice and answered our questions. I had the dark wizard and my son had the brownie sundae. Both were delicious. We love chocolate and both deliver on that. Their menu has a nice variety of sundaes. The large was huge and I would get a smaller size next time. They have plenty of seating and fun activities for the kids. We can not wait to go back.

We came here about 6pm on a Saturday because my wife was craving ice cream. We had driven by many times and thought it looked cool. The business is located on a large corner property off Stratford Road. What makes Twin City Sweets different is they provide a relaxed and fun outdoor experience for customers which includes things such as corn hole, jenga, lawn size connect four and various other games. It is ideal for young families who want to enjoy a sweet treat but also have some fun together as well. Since it was just my wife and I we headed straight to the trailer to look over the menu. We could then see the many options available. While you can order simple ice cream they specialize in craft ice cream combinations which are well described and they make it easy to decide what you want prior to arriving at the window. My wife chose the "Triad Triple Mint" which included mint chocolate chip ice cream, chocolate syrup, crushed Andes mints, mint Oreos and whipped cream. We were also surprised to see they even had a fair amount of swag. My wife's order was prepared quickly and looked beautiful and delicious. She thoroughly enjoyed it and was impressed overall. The prices are higher than average but we recognize they are not simply providing ice cream, they are providing a fun and relaxing environment for customers as well. Overall, we would highly recommend to others but we will likely go other places to enjoy a sweet treat since it is only the two of us.

Every Wednesday after my oldest granddaughter's dance class, we take her out for a treat, be it ice cream, cupcakes or donuts. Being it's spring, we're on an ice cream kick! My husband, granddaughter and I got there first and shortly after, our son, daughter-in-law and youngest granddaughter joined us. Last year during Ice Cream Month, Yelp featured Twin City Sweets. We enjoyed it so much that come around this year, we went back, of course. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and nice. We told him about how we found out about the place and that we wouldn't have found out about them if not of Yelp. We also received great service that time. He said we just missed the owner who would have loved to hear from us. So, I'm yelping my heart out! Lol Their ice cream is super creamy and delicious. I ordered 2 scoops of Salted Caramel Truffle in a waffle cone! I've become a fan of this flavor! I will order it again in a heartbeat!! My granddaughter had a small order of The Clemmons Cotton Candy Sundae. She liked it a lot!! I'm letting my husband Yelp about his and our son's order. Lol There's plenty of seating available both in shade and under the sun. It's very family friendly. There's lots of things and activities available for both kids and adults alike. Our oldest granddaughter had a lot of fun playing. Needless to say, we'll be back again. Can't wait to see their next theme! Their Harry Potter Theme was cool!

A fun local ice cream spot! Twin City is located at the corner of W clemmonsville and Stratford road. They have parking in the front area and it looked like they also had extra parking in back. They have a cute little patio area with some cover seating and also have more seating out in the lawn area. The guys at Twin City were very friendly. I ordered the cookies n cream and it was really good. I'm pretty simple when it comes to ice cream. I usually just get cookies n cream or butter pecan but next time I'll have to try their sundaes because they have so many good options. They have fun games like corn hole and jenga. It's definitely a fun place to be with family and friends. Ice cream, fun and games, you can't go wrong with either. I'll definitely be back again.

My family of three came here on a Saturday around 3pm. There is parking lot out front and extra parking behind. Service was quick and we had many yummy options to choose from. I got the Winston Worm Sundae in the small size and it was great. My son got the Strawberry Shortbread sundae with vanilla ice cream which was a special this particular weekend. Overall it was nice, just a lot of syrup in my opinion. My husband got two scoops of the banana pudding ice cream and he enjoyed it. I loved all the seating options and there was a good section that was shaded. There were also a lot of toys and activities for my son so we ended up staying there for about an hour.

Unique business establishment. Been here for 3 or more years, don't remember exactly the number as told to me by young owner Eric. He is very personable even while taking care of a good amount foot traffic. Could use bigger and more fans but on this super hot muggy day the clouds rolled in and made it feel much more comfortable. Sits on open site and has ample parking. And probably does good take out. The equipment looks shiny and new-ish, which makes a good impression. They have a port a potty on site, I would recommend that owner add a pump wash station to wash hands, especially since the hand sanitizer pump was empty. I will ask if they have wet naps. -- Took vision to set up an ice cream business out of town center and I believe it works. Amount of people here implies that place has made a name for it self. Great place to bring the family and kids of all ages. Possibly a great location to host a small event. Folks can enjoy corn hole, bulls eye, picnic tables some with sun umbrellas. Take photos in over sizes chair. Enjoy the grass and surrounding tree line. Looks like they have at least one frisbee golf station. A definite business to experience and worthy of revisit. She was warm and friendly and quick to answer any questions we had. After browsing some of the flavors, I asked about the ingredients in several of the flavors and was so impressed by her knowledge and readiness to look up what she didn't know by heart. SHE HAD AN ENTRE BOOK OF INGREDIENTS! And many of the common questions were highlighted in different colors. I was taken aback because you don't often get that level of information in a frozen yogurt spot. There were so many flavors with natural dyes and very little preservatives or extra stuff. There's also a rewards club and Togo froyo! After we ordered, it was nice to sit outside and eat on the Adirondack chairs.

I noticed the…read moresmall container fits in the medium container and fit the most part they are the same size. The inside part where you get yogurt is fine. The seating is where it's terrible. Inside basically has a long wall with stools where no family will sit. They have an awkward corner table that doesn't look like you would want to sit at it either. They have 2 employees whose job it is to keep yogurt full and the mixings. Bill was $23.99 and was surprised to get just $1.01 back as change. I threw it in the tip bucket and felt bad as I looked at these 2 teenage girls working. I felt bad until we went to find a place to eat our yogurt. The tables outside are filthy and covered with weeks worth of pollen. The beach chairs have dried drips of icecream and nastiness all over all of them. The employees cannot be bothered to go outside and wipe anything down. Frozen yogurt doesn't travel well. You want yo sit and enjoy it when you are with your family. You won't find that experience at this location. I must not be the only one that feels this way - hardly any customers. My suggestion is that you require your employees - you have more then1 - go outside and wipe your chairs and tables off. I would look at the configuration of seating inside and do better. Sweet frogs has been around a while - but there are better options in same plaza and road. Minimum you could do is have clean seating. It's evident your seating outside may only get cleaned with rain. Just my thoughts - yogurt was fine but won't be back.
