I ordered the hot honey chicken and the chicken was practically raw. Disgusting. The new huge chunks were not cooked thoroughly or diced to even notice the uncooked meat, and the taste I had was appalling. I bit into the chicken chunk and spit it out immediately and peeked into the chicken and it's pink and bloody. So, I'm also left hungry as I wouldn't eat any of the rest. No idea why sweetgreen is offering thick chunks of chicken meat from the thigh instead of the white diced chicken breast I've previously received. Looks like a cost-saving measure by offering cheaper cuts of meat-while charging more for an inedible meal. Hoping I don't become sick from the raw meat. read more

I haven't wrote a Yelp review in forever but I just had sweetgreen for the first time and it was amazing! The place was super clean, everything looked fresh and staff was friendly! I could not believe the huge portions I was being served (def not chipotle lol) My bowl was filled, so affordable for just $12! I walked in and thought it was gonna be overwhelming for me but it was the exact opposite! I did the build your own and I think that they have the bestttt sweet potatoes & broccoli I've ever had! Love this place and been there a few times. Quality of food is amazing. It's fresh. I can eat there everyday if I can help it. One thing I have noticed on my multiple visits is that employees have a certain attitude. I don't know where it is coming from. It's not one person but multiple different people. It seems they are not happy or care to be there. Big fan of chipotle and other fast food chains with similar concept but have not gotten this kind of vibes. Been to the Birmingham location of Sweet-green as well and nothing like this. So much brightness and flavor in their food! My wife and I came here on a date night to try it out and the nice young lady who took our orders was incredible. Just awesome service! She was knowledgeable and efficient. I ordered the kale Caesar and my wife ordered the buffalo chicken bowl. Everything tasted fresh and the dressings were bursting with layers of flavor. We saw a few employees freshly cutting produce, so we knew the food was going to be awesome. I will say that there wasn't much chicken in our salads, but the food overall was delicious. We also ordered a side of roasted sweet potatoes with hot honey mustard, and they were pretty good. A few slices were undercooked, but overall they were worth trying. We shall be back! read more

Wonderful place to go to during lunch. Always get a full bowl and bread. However at night every time I order, the bowl is half empty they are always out of ingredients 2 hours before closing. This location needs serious HELP with prioritization. During the lunch rush they had 15 people waiting on mobile orders, but only one person making them while 3 people were working on the walk in line, which had much less people waiting. Mobile orders should be priority. This is a business area, obviously people are going to order ahead and expect it to be ready ON TIME so they can get back to work. Walk ins should expect to have a wait time - NOT mobile orders!! I lived in California for 6 years and not once have I ever experienced such a terrible wait time on a mobile order at a Sweetgreen location. And obviously they were far more busy, having been in a city of millions. Seriously what is the point of a mobile order if it's going to take 3x as long to receive?! Might as well just walked in. Well...service is unimpressive. There was a nice long line when I went in and the staff moved slow as molasses. You can't always help a long line but you can surely move like people's time matters. One team member even went in the back for a little break despite there being a long line and after waiting for a million orders in front of me, the remaining staff member decided to fulfill all the online orders before taking my order. Okay. So my lunch break was a dud. Also, they were out of cucumber and avocado by midday which should be better managed for a salad place. Last irritation: I got a protein bowl with literally three bites of chicken in it. So much for my $15. You are not going to get that promised 49 grams of protein. That's a joke. I came here before and received better service and a better product so when the right staff is working, I'm sure it could be better. But I'll have to come more often to see. We happened to be in Troy looking for wholesome food for dinner and came across SweetGreen. We ordered on the app which worked perfectly and save a lot of time. My wife got the Harvest Bowl and it was exactly what she was hungry for. I got the Balsamic Protein Bowl which was wonderful. It was all perfectly prepared and very tasty aside from being extraordinarily healthy food. We look forward to returning soon. read more
