This cake was for our first anniversary, a day that happens only once, and it's unfortunate that rather than tell me she was unable or unwilling to create sugar ponies resembling flowers in the photo I had sent, she created thick, gum paste/fondant looking roses with cracks on them showing poor workmanship. It's disappointing enough that the flowers weren't at all what I requested, but then to have them done with such poor quality is horrible. I am disappointed and embarrassed to serve this cake tonight, hopefully it at least tastes good. **Update: it tasted ok, but was nothing special. Multiple guests commented the buttercream was SUPER sweet.** She offered me a partial refund because of the issue which, while appreciated, doesn't explain why the photo I sent wasn't simply followed avoiding this hassle all together. Hopefully she'll send the refund, as of yet I haven't received anything. **Update: Partial refund was received, she apologized for the delay in sending it saying she was busy with another delivery and taking care of her family** Use with caution if you're wanting something very specific in your design.
