Nicole had photographed a number of my friends' weddings and I had always been mesmerized by the quality. As soon as we met her and talked about the style we were going for, we knew she was the right choice for us. Nicole was super easy to get along with and very organized before and during the wedding. What a fun and talented photographer. Nicole worked with my husband and I on our engagement shoot and wedding photographs. As folks of color, it's really important to us that photographers get our coloring and lighting right, without a lot of fuss. Nicole did a terrific job on this, created artful shots of our wedding that captured the day beautifully and was such a great cheerleader throughout the entire process. I wish I could give Nicole and her business 10 stars. She was by far the one of the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. Oh boy, where do I start? Photographer: Nicole is just simply amazing. Her personality is perfect for us Brides that are already under a lot pressure and stress the day of our wedding. She is incredibly easy going, friendly, personable, hard working, bubbly, and extremely fun. She is so good at bringing a genuine smile to your face and taking the perfect shots to make your laugh/smile look absolutely gorgeous. On the day of my wedding, we had the biggest difficulty getting my family together for family group pictures. Kids were all over the place and people just could not follow directions. But Nicole remained calm through it all and instead of showing any sign of stress or frustration, she did everything in her power to make everyone laugh and smile for the pictures. When a baby started crying, Nicole instantly started imitating a monkey which got the baby laughing right away. She knew exactly what to do in every situation. What I loved her about the most was her passion. It was so obvious that she just loved her job. I loved that about her. In the midst of all the chaos, craziness, and of course the heat from my outdoor summer wedding, I never failed to see a genuine smile on Nicole's face. I even had guests and family commenting how awesome she was. Pictures: Our turn around time for pictures was a lot faster than I had expected. She gave us a good amount of fully edited pictures the very next day of our wedding, and the turn around time for our entire package was exactly about a month. I just received our full wedding pictures yesterday and it literally brought me to tears. She listened to every single requests and suggestions we had made when we first initially spoke with her months ago! Every single picture looked just gorgeous. In some of the pictures, I couldn't believe I was looking at myself. She made me look absolutely stunning! The lighting, angles, colors...everything was just perfect. Nicole is also absolutely incredible at capturing emotions. Flipping through the picture literally gave me goosebumps as well as happy tears. :) Service: Excellent! Nicole is very professional and really knows how to run her business. She was really good at replying to our emails in a timely manner and answering every single questions we had (and trust me I had a lot of questions). She was also extremely accommodating to our busy schedule. Instead of meeting in person, we were able to connect through google hangout (video chat) and also connect on the phone which worked perfect for us. Price: SO worth every penny! I actually did a lot of researching, shopping and talking to photographers before hiring Nicole. With that said, Nicole's package is pretty darn affordable and she really goes above and beyond to make sure you get your moneys worth. Nicole recently photographed a corporate event for us. She was fantastic, and the photos are are amazing! Nicole is amazing--all around. Her photography stands alone, but the actual experience working with her solidifies her talent and professionalism. We are beyond thrilled yearly with our Santa photos she has taken, but more recently we booked a mini session at a location (very!) special to me. I am a wedding coordinator from a Touch of Grace and I have the chance to work with a lot of great photographers but I would not have chosen anyone else but Nicole to capture my "pregnancy" pictures... I wish she would have been my wedding photographer if I knew her before! I loved our session so much than I will have her capture all our family important moments! Nicole was simply amazing... Great personality, outgoing, creative, easy to work with, punctual, super talented and have such a great way about her. I am very detail oriented and picky about pictures... usually I have a hard time to like more than 3 pictures from an entire shoot because of it. This review is totally overdue! We hired Nicole to do our wedding photography. She included a well needed engagement session, which helped up prepare for the wedding day (much needed thank you Nicole!) She made us feel so comfortable with taking photos that we felt like pro's at our wedding (we had never taken professional pictures before). Then, the day of our wedding, she showed us what Sweetness and Light was made of!!! Her and her 2nd photographer, Grace, totally blew us away with their hospitality, professionalism and photography skills. My groom was running behind (of course lol) and Grace not only helped him steam his suite, but also drove the groomsmen to the venue and helped my groom with his handicapped brother! She was amazing! As I was getting ready, I was so nervous to marry the man of my dreams, but Nicole helped to calm me down. She knew how to take control of the hectic-ness without being pushy or overbearing. She is so sweet yet knows how to get things done in a fashionly order. By the end of the night, I knew how hard her and her team worked to get all the photos I've asked for, that we ended up dancing together on the dance floor! Nicole and Grace, thank you so much for capturing the best day/night of our lives! We couldn't have asked for a better team!!! Hire her for any moment you want to capture.
