In February 2026, I took a small chain bracelet that my granddaughter gave me in to have the spring…read moreclasp replaced with a claw which I provided (that was from another bracelet). When the repair was completed and I picked it up, I noticed that it was longer when it was put on my wrist. I was surprised that the jeweler did not realize that when the claw was soldered on that it extended the length. I returned to the store a few weeks later to have the bracelet shortened because it kept slipping off and was charged $55. The new soldering was rough and not secure which caused the chain to break a few weeks later. I did not know exactly when it broke and therefore, I lost it. I am extremely upset since the bracelet was a gift from my granddaughter.
