This was my first time being in charge of throwing any type of event and Catherine was such wonderful help with figuring out all the little details. I think the only issue (but this may be an overall Sacramento-specific problem) is getting authentic Asian food catered. For instance, I did request spring rolls but they brought egg rolls instead. As a Vietnamese person, I know this is a common mistake other people make (egg rolls are the ones coated in egg-wash and then fried). Another unexpected thing was that the Thai red curry was made without any coconut milk, which is something I've never seen before. But I think that these issues could've been resolved had we been allowed to do a taste test beforehand.
