Over the weekend, we took a road trip to Apple Hill and stopped by Delfino Farms. For the first time, I saw the "Off the Vine on the Road" food truck and checked out their menu. We were hungry, and the sandwich options sounded appealing. I decided to order a BBQ Brisket sandwich, a Chili Dog, and a Shredded Chicken Sandwich. The man operating the truck and taking orders was very helpful and friendly. The young man working behind the grill was equally pleasant. Since I was the last customer of the day, he was outside wrapping things up. Juggling all my food, I asked him if he could help me add some mustard to the chili dog, and he immediately agreed. He grabbed the mustard and asked me to let him know when to stop! The sandwiches were delicious, and we enjoyed every last bite. Off the Vine Catering was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding at Helwig Winery in May 2026. David and his team were professional, organized, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The food was one of the things our guests talked about most after the wedding. Everything was served fresh, hot and exactly as expected. All of them were so delicious! We decided to choose the fettuccine Alfredo with a spring salad and rolls. We also ordered the international cheese platter and the grilled veggies. We hired Off The Vine Catering for our wedding and they did not disappoint. The food was so delicious and beautifully presented. Dave was great to work with and appreciated his flexibility with all aspects of the process. We had so many compliments on how delicious the food was and many of our guests mentioned how the chicken skewers were the best they have ever had. We asked for appetizers for our guests in the wine cave after our wedding ceremony and it was a huge hit for everyone. I want to start by giving a huge kudos to the owners Dave & Jackie. Their infectious personalities and true desire to lend a helping hand really go a long way. We used OTVC for our wedding of about 120 guests. They were super easy to work with, on time, and the staff was prepped accordingly. The charcuterie board was an absolute hit with our guests during cocktail hour. Dave made sure that my wife, myself, and the wedding party received a tray of appetizers while we were taking pictures which went a LONG way. Dinner was absolutely delicious. We received multiple compliments from our guests about just how good the dishes were. The staff interacted and laughed with our guests and cleaned up quickly as well. What a good decision it was to have Off the Vine Catering serve our guests at our surprise birthday party for my wife. Owner Dave Hanson was very easy to work with and very helpful in answering questions. He made great menu suggestions, calculated quantities for our eighty-five guests, and generally made the process stress free. His servers arrived on time, looked professional, and kept asking "what else can we do." They helped clear the tables and even washed dishes, something I didn't expect. Most importantly, the food was delicious! I received so many compliments from our guests. The Caesar salad was the tastiest I have ever had, and the pork was tender, lean, and served with a delicious gluten free sauce. The appetizers were equally enjoyable. We just had Off The Vine cater a Fall Festival at our house for about 175 people and WOW did they impress! The food was fantastic and fit the fall harvest theme perfectly. Dave worked with me revising the menu a couple times before the event, and always with a great attitude. Everything stayed looking good, hot and tasty for the entire 4 hour event. I can't say enough good things about this catering company. I've been an event planner for years and worked with a variety of caterers and Dave was professional, VERY easy to work with, the food was a rave, and I had the pickiest of eaters saying it was delicious. We went with his yummy smoked tri-tip. We customized the menu so it was entirely gluten free and included a good vegetarian option. I coordinated a non-profit fundraiser dinner and I checked in with Dave before we got going and at the end. He was so clearly on top of everything, and his staff was professional and capable that I didn't need to monitor them. Each table was served efficiently, the drinks were refreshed regularly, the plates cleared in a timely manner, and he was drying off the last dish around the time we wrapped up the evening.
