Staying here in the beautiful Westin hotel in Duluth for an office Christmas party. Dining here during yucky weather twice to avoid getting out. Our dinner was delicious and we enjoyed the beet and arugula salad, short ribs over pasta and jacket potato with the most delicious pork belly. My only complaint was the main dish could have been warmer. We enjoyed a favorite bottle of wine off the efficient wine menu that was well appointed without being too dramatic. I walked down for a later lunch solo and was greeted by friendly staff who offered her favorite option of the salmon rice bowl. I substituted for chicken and was delighted they offer many portions at half size. Again I enjoyed another familiar favorite wine by the glass and appreciated the variety of craft cocktails on the menu as well as their local craft beers.

The food was so fresh and good. The ambience is very welcoming and the staff were very nice. We stayed at the Westin. And went to Sweetsong for breakfast, which ends at 10a and lunch begins at 11a. Everything tasted natural and homemade with great portion sizes. I would go back there any day just to try more menu items. Love love love it!

The ambiance in this place absolutely beautiful and romantic for a date night. My husband and I had a late lunch date and the waitress was very sweet. We tried Overstory and this was next on our list. Hubs loved his old fashion. The vacation mode cocktail was just okay. Really loved the crab cake and crispy wings. We will back for dinner soon.

This is one of my favorite hotel restaurants ever. The Lowcountry Crudite starter with the seaweed dip is amazing. I ordered it almost everyday we stayed there and one for the road. The Korean Rice Bowl was also delicious it has kimchi which balances out all the flavors. Also ordered a takeout of the Korean Rice Bowl with salmon for our flight. We also got GA Waldorf Salad, Sweetsong Caesar, and Crispy Chicken Wings during our stay which were all great dishes.

Update: Sweet Song does not care. I do not recommend coming to this restaurant right now. They are not ready and it shows. I went with a large party for my birthday and it was a mistake. Had my company not been so good, I feel like violence would've ensued. My party took up two large tables in the restaurant and they broke down how they were going to serve us and that was fine. We wanted to start with some cocktails and they told us that they don't have 3/5 of their cocktails on the cocktail menu. They didn't have one of their appetizers and overall just didn't seem prepared for being new? Our server was fine, but nothing out of the ordinary. It just felt like they didn't care as much because they knew gratuity is automatically added so they get tipped either way. After our appetizers got to our table it took about 45mins for my table's food to come out and my other table got their food over an hour after appetizers. My other table said their food had no salt in it whatsoever and my table's food was a tad salty. We wanted to complain to the manager but at some point in the night, he just disappeared. So all in all - stay away from this place for a while until they get it together. It might be possible that if you have a party larger than 4, it's not worth it. The prices of this place is not worth the lack of quality in their food and service.

Two transparent slices of bacon on the B.L.A.T SANDWICH

Experience was subpar at best. When we sat down the waitress asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. In most cases still means tap water. Another woman walks by and asks our water preference, we tell her still water, and she pours us water from a carafe. Perfect. Our waitress circles back and is clearly annoyed someone had filled our glasses and proceeds to take the full glasses, brings back empty glasses, and fills them with bottled water ($10). Initially, when she asked our preference she didn't let us know that tap water was an option or that she meant bottled water when she said still water. Our food and drinks (mimosas $14 each served in cheap looking wine glasses which is a non-issue but we're also at the Westin so cmon) took a while for a seemingly slow lunch crowd. When we finally got our food it was cold. I got the "London Broil" Steak Sandwich with fries ($25) and my mom got the B.L.A.T. with fries ($20). Both fell flat....FLAT. The "steak" on the sandwich was listed as American Wagyu but it was absolutely roast beef. Like absolutely. The B.L.A.T. was huge and full of avocado but only had two thinly sliced pieces of bacon. Both came with fries. Both fries were cold. We let the waitress know that our fries were cold and she brought out a fresh order. HUGE difference. The service was awkward and outside of offering me a fresh roast beef sandwich management didn't really seem bothered by the complaints. They were also handing out roses for Mother's Day and gave everyone a rose but my mom? Annoying. They won't be seeing me again. Cute interior design though.

Baby Beet Salad - Full Size

The food was delicious, but the $18 Baby Beet Salad was so small! I even asked the server to confirm this was the full size & not the half size. Skip it. Get something else.

Patagonian Salmon, side of Slow Braised Collard Greens

This restaurant is located in the newly constructed Westin Atlanta Gwinnett. The interior of Sweetsong compliments the decor of the hotel well and gives travelers a convenient, chic, and tasty dining option. The food was amazing! The Patagonian salmon had a nice glaze and cooked to my liking. My server recommended the collard greens, and I'm glad he did because they were seasoned to perfection. My only complaint about the greens is that they were overcooked which led to a mushy texture , but the flavor was all there! I always have to have something sweet after dinner and my southern roots led me to the peach cobbler. It had some room for improvement in my opinion. Although I love extra crust in my cobbler, it was too flaky for my liking and could've used some butter on top. The ice cream was delicious. All of that said, I'd give it an 8/10 and will continue to dine here during my stay at the Westin.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. For the price they charged and what they give you is ridiculous. The menu isn't offered much added on top of it they ran out of a lot of things on a Saturday night no less. Our server also seemed annoyed by the 3rd questions we asked and didn't know the answer so he had to run back to asked the kitchen multiple times. Most of his answer coming back was " we don't have that today". Appetizer I ordered the crab cake. $18 of just crab cake and salt. It was so salty and dry. Barely sauce like the picture you see at all, just straight up salt. Took us an hour for the entrée to come out, even more. Our party has around 15 people, split into 2 tables. One of the table had their food and finished it and the second table has no food yet. The server never comes and check up on us during the hour we were waiting for our food. When the food came out it was so disappointing. On our side of the table, we ordered 2 pork chops one was over cooked and one has no color to it. Both have no flavor. The 3 orders of Caesar salad my friends ordered is literally is just Romanian lettuce and chickpeas. They barely gave any dressing for the salad. The rest wasn't happy with their food either. The cocktail was a joke. I ordered "Nuts about you" but with either vodka or tequila. He said sure, but then went and asked the bartender came back, said that they ran out of the ingredient to make that drink. So I ordered Vacation mode that tasted so bad that me and my friend both didn't touch our drinks at all. I honestly sensed hostile feelings from our server. I'm not sure if he was frustrated with us or the fact that the restaurant wasn't prepared but he was neither welcoming nor helpful. Oh and for him to act like that, they automatically charged us 22% gratuity on the tab. We were there for 3 hours. Most of it is waiting around for the servers to come and get our orders and the other half is to wait for the food to come out. 3 hours! We valet parked and was informed that because we were there for 3 hours it was $15 each. Honestly, if you want to spend money on great food and beautiful ambiance there are plenty of restaurants in Duluth to do so. Don't waist your time and money here.

Along with that blessing, I find myself being addicted to everything that makes me sick. Life hands you lemons, ya eat it anyway. The chicken was juicy af. Yes, so juicy I actually said wtf. The meat was tender, the skin was crunchy. And it was like an ASMR session kind of crunchy. I would've recorded the sound but unfortunately I'm allergic to ASMR. I'll be honest, when I first saw 98k Chicken I didn't have high expectations. I thought it would be another Zaxby's, Popeyes, KFC, etc. But they've really set themselves apart! The price is far more reasonable than other chain fried chicken restaurants, the portions are bigger, and the quality of the food is consistently superior. If they're able to keep up with what they're doing, I think this will be a community favorite. Good food speaks for itself, and so do the kind owners that pour their hearts and souls into their businesses. When I go to a fast food restaurant, I barely expect people to look at me in the eye, let alone carry on a conversation with me. But the woman at the counter is actually quite chatty! None of us had ever been before, so we didn't fully know what to expect -- but it ended up being such a memorable Sunday evening. We were able to get the group discount (if you have 15+ guest), and tickets came out to about $57 per person after taxes and fees, which felt reasonable for dinner and a show. We were originally scheduled for January, but had to reschedule due to the two "winter storms" we had -- the process was smooth and hassle-free, which we appreciated thanks to Wendy the Group Ticket Rep. We all decided to dress up, which honestly made the experience 10x more fun. If you're planning to going, I highly recommend getting into character. The show was about 1.5 hours long and kept everyone entertained the entire time. Even though our team lost (still a little salty about that ), the energy, cheering, and crowd involvement made it a blast. The food was better than expected! The chicken was surprisingly juicy, and the corn was actually the standout of the meal. Everything was served hot and fresh. Shout out to our Server i believe her name of Melissa or Melanie.
