On another visit, a different client showed up early, so she rushed through my hair to finish quickly, resulting in the absolute worst haircut I've ever had. Every recent cut was uneven, leaving me to fix, trim, and adjust the layers myself at home. I even referred my sister to her, and she was equally unhappy with her haircut. Despite paying in full every single time and remaining a dedicated long-term client, any feedback or request for a proper, unhurried service was met with frustration and an unprofessional, cold attitude. When I tried to book my next appointment, the communication was dismissive and unresponsive. It is extremely disappointing to see a place you've supported for 7 years treat long-term loyalty with such a lack of respect and poor effort. I love how she still listens to what we want but also inputs suggests new ideas. For the past 5 or 6 haircuts, she has been the one to cut my son's hair and honestly we'll keep the same. This was our first visit to this location, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. I don't think we'll be returning. We had a 1:40 p.m. appointment. When we arrived, two employees were standing at the front counter talking. I mentioned that the self-check-in keyboard wasn't working, and they said they would check us in. We then waited another minute or so for them to finish their conversation before they checked us in. Unfortunately, it appears they never informed the hairstylist that we had arrived. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes until another employee--who I believe was the manager--noticed us. He spoke rather harshly to the hairstylist, telling her that her 1:40 appointment had been waiting. From what I observed, she had no way of knowing we were there because no one had told her. I want to make it clear that the hairstylist, Lissa, was not the problem. She did a great job on my son's haircut. Even though my son wasn't a fan of the lightning bolt design, I thought it looked great. She even comped our haircut at the end, which I appreciated and certainly wasn't expecting or asking for. I hope she knows she did a wonderful job.
