I was handed a duplex printed paper which was like an "if/then/else process" with variability and not my specific products throughout, and it did contains chemical names, not my specific products. I have requested this each visit and am sure that I am not the only person who asks for more than just the verbal instructions given during the exam. It is reasonable to be specific to my treatment and not a guessing game left up to my interpretation. Instead of addressing my specific questions, and clearly listing the steps morning and night with the specific products for my personal treatment, I have to try to figure out what the heck and when to use what! I notice this hesitation to write down anything with many offices now and feel that it is a drop in service for whatever reason (liability-related?, laziness?), but it frustrates me unnecessarily. Additionally, when I call to make an appointment for my preferred location, I am met with pushback because of where I may have been seen the previous time, which I occasionally accommodate for scheduling reasons. Once they put down a preferred location and if I correct them that, yes, I did see them at the Lowell location, but I prefer the Fayetteville, there is an snark. I'll just add that I try to be pleasant, but due to this ongoing resistance, I am going to find a different practice.

Made an appt to assess some skin issues I have been having and when I was seen was told I'd have to make separate appts for each of my issues needing checked and could only be seen for one thing at a time. Those things being a cancer screening, itchy skin, and some possible eczema/psoriasis. Unaware of that going in it resulted in me paying $300 for a 5 minute appt. Absolutely feel that there was zero concern for me as a patient and was a total rip off since the medical reasons I had made the appt for weren't even addressed. Took a lot of bravery to go in the first place and now don't think I'll ever go back again. Total disappointment. Do not go here if you have true medical concerns for skin issues.

He has a friendly and humorous bedside manner and "seen it all" experience. Now my entire family sees Dr. Bicak. Was there 4/17 for chest pain and was told I would have a test ordered. Never heard back and ended up at the hospital for the same chest pains. Called to follow up about it, as the hospital recommended, and instead got told they were still waiting on a prior authorization. Still? She then asked about a bill on the account, which I inquired about as there was a new charge on there just for being seen when I already paid my copay at the appointment, and she said must be my deductible and hung up when I didn't have it. I've also worked in medical billing and that's not quite how it works unless they somehow didn't check my deductible, which is doubtful after that. And a prior authorization does not take that long. Called my insurance and they said there was a note stating they were told no prior authorization was required on 9/8. They waited that long to try?! And still lied? Desk lady is always sweet in person but had no problem being condescending on the phone. Unfortunately will have to find a new PCP. He is very knowledgeable and would only recommend as a last resort.

So I've been on this dental journey now for over 5 months now. I had a couple of teeth missing and…read morethen my teeth was cracking. So I got a consultation to see how to fix my problem. After finding out what I needed to do I had to really think will this be worth it. So after making my decision on just getting all my teeth pulled which was 24 of them I decided to go through with it. Dr Minikin was the oral surgeon I trusted on getting me on the next phase. Like I said I had 24 teeth extracted and 6 bone grafts. The thing is I was put out and really didn't feel no pain until the next day. I also had 2 implants put in on my lowers to make sure my denture's wouldn't move around. So after 4 months I think I'm about ready for the next stage. But no I had to go back in for another surgery for a muscle that was to strong. Dr Minikin was very straight forward and told me we needed to do this as well which I did. After 3weeks of recovery I went back and was told I was ready to see my dentist to get dentures made. Everyone in this office was the nicest people you could ask for. So if you're needing oral surgery I highly recommend this place. Now I get to see my dentist next week to get my new Smile

They require a credit card on file to make an appointment and a "consultation fee" for the first appointment. I asked why they can't bill my insurance and I was told that they "do a lot of elective procedures." I asked why that would have any relevance to my medical issue and said I should probably just find a real ENT to do the work rather than continue with a person more interested in upfront fees than medical work. If you are looking for a normal doctor experience, look elsewhere. This is definitely not it.
