Nevada Hand Therapy is AMAZING. I went there after having a surgery on my pinky, worried that I would never get much function back into it. After putting in the work with all of the great staff that work there I have been able to get full function back into my pinky. The two fantastic ladies up front worked wonders fitting me in when it worked for my schedule. Christina and Brenda were always so great and made sure that the schedule of my therapy worked well with my work schedule. I couldn't be anymore grateful!! Once you are taken back to the room where the magic is done, all of the techs took great care of me. They always made sure I was comfortable. They would start me off with heating pads or the warm cornmeal box (which is the bees knees). This really made me feel that I could be more productive with my therapy. I've never had this type of treatment at a therapy clinic before. When it came time to work with the therapists they were ready and focused just on me and what we were about to do which is amazing. Feeling that you are their most important client at the time is so gratifying. Each therapist encouraged me to do my best and ensured me to only do what was comfortable and that we would work on the uncomfortable things when I had more strength. Each visit the therapists would send me home with more exercises and the tools to complete those exercises so that I could continue to strengthen my finger while I was not at the office. I would recommend these wonderful people to any of my family/friends knowing they are going to take the best care of them. These people really are the best in their individual aspect and are extremely educated in their field of work! Go see them, they are the best!!!! read more

Doctor Gallio was amazing. Super fast service and very knowledgeable. He is very honest as well and you can tell he went into the right speciality. I'm sure with his care my hand will be healed in no time! I am writing this review specifically for Christine. My mother had a terrible fall, fractured her hand and now with severe problems post op is Christine's patient. In my youth I worked as a physical therapy assistant, and know how hard working and loving most people who choose this profession are. Christine is a gem. She has done so many things to aid in my mothers progress, she has gone way above and beyond what most would ever do. Everyone works together well to get the mission done, Christine has been taking good care of my pinky and ring finger since I cut one of each tendon in both. My pinky started contracting really bad due to my lack of transportation but they've been really patient with me! Thank you Christine for everything, I really can't thank you enough. After 15 years of putting up severe Dupuytren's Contracture in both hands I had the procedures to release the cords, however because of how long my hands were effected the therapy was no joke! I was able to make appts conveniently even though their schedule was busy. I also have insurance that spends more making the card than reimbursing health costs - their office was more than kind, showing they care more about the necessary continuing therapy than filling their pocketbooks. I am a patient, not an account number. To the Yelper who took the time to write a 20 minute diatribe.... you are aware this is not a forum to cite laws (by number no less! a lot of research went into your tantrum, impressive!), and addendums to laws and all the reasons you were personally wronged, and forced into illegal activity. Here's an idea - exercise the freedom (sorry I can't properly refer to article 'held hostage 3.4') to conduct your therapy elsewhere. My experience (STILL in therapy... my own fault for waiting so long) has been nothing but positive - ok lol therapy HURTS, a lot! I blame the therapist! Oh wait, that's right... I'm an adult! For one quoting such precise case law, I'd be careful about name dropping libelous statements on "I think." That's some specific BS to fall back on a I think. If we are going to think, I think if you walk around with an attitude like this no wonder everything is subpar, there is therapy for you..... just not this kind. Gimme a break, life is full of little injustices. I can't say enough how grateful I am I to have the use of my hands again and I could not have done it without the team at Nevada Hand Therapy. What should have been a five star review for patient care and concern ended as a Zero. Hence the One rating on the scale of Five. It's unfortunate that two medical professionals collaborate to start a business only to have it destroyed by an office manager operating on entitlement and no care over the unexpected interruption of a patients life. Yes. Sometimes in firmed parents in another state can delay your arrival to your appointment. And for that reason, you cancel me as I drive in. Only you. The person who doesn't care about the standing of the two medical professionals that collaborate to start a business. How unfortunate and uniquely convenient that these two can survive financially with a business model that makes no room and consideration for the need of the patient. "Yes, we must stay on schedule." Our waiting room is empty and the staff are giggling in the back room. But, By the grace of God, we must stay on schedule! So, as a retired professional, I offer you, Christine, this advice. If you want to hire staff that do not represent your value or your biography, and certainly not your business mission statement, then you failed your business and the essence of your worth in the medical field. As for my continued therapy, necessary or not, I have the pleasure of going where I want. But, understand, in business, referrals are the hugest and cheapest marketing. I have a huge base. Christine, we discussed my past public service. In good conscious, I could never refer my friends to anyone less than understanding of a patients unexpected circumstance. It's not about money. The two owners of this company, Pam and Christine, personally tended to my thrice-weekly and then twice-weekly therapy schedule. Pam was especially enabling with her great 'bedside' manner and complete understanding of my therapeutic and emotional needs during this time of great uncertainty. They consistently went out of their to ensure my comfort, both physical and otherwise, and to make sure I knew what all the procedures were doing in my healing process. The only hiccup was the front office. While Brenda was professional, courteous and considerate, as well as a delightful person, the office manager could most definitely use a review of proper customer service dynamics. Such lovely, lovely people and a wonderful place to be for physical therapy. I had some problems with my thumb and went here for a few weeks - I saw Pam mostly, Christina once and interacted with a few other people and they were all nice and cheery. Not only that, they were the first people to be able to answer my questions about what was actually happening physiologically in my hand. I had been dealing with this issue for months! When I was released from PT, I almost wished I was still hurting just so I could come back a couple times a week! They made me feel taken care of.
