Wow, what a unexpected day! I tried scheduling with other locksmiths and it kept falling through or they weren't able to come out for a week. I called Swift Locksmith, and he was here in 30 mins and had all my locks changed and installed my new pad door lock in an hour (or less, I can't recall.) I called Leo to get four locks re-keyed. He quoted me a price and was willing to take a payment at a later date, since I get paid once a month. I used my credit card instead, but that is excellent customer service and highly appreciated. Upon arriving Leo noted that the job was a bit more difficult that he initially quoted me for. He suggested replacing my door knobs to make it easier, but I specifically chose the ones that were installed and didn't want to let them go. Leo found a workaround for the problem and did the extra work at no extra charge. Leo was very friendly and didn't mind my annoying dogs barking at him the entire time. Just so you all know I don't just give out 5 stars. I went to their website from yelp and filled out their quote form, they got back to me so quick I didn't even get to the next locksmiths website for a quote. Their quote was 160, a locksmoth I previously got a quote from was 300, dealerahip was 600. A key blank for my car is 45 online and if you consider the gas it costs them to go from location to location they are very fair in the amount they charge. I got 2 keys in case the wife loses another one before I sell the car. Don't get dicked around, call these guys. read more

Removing the ignition key in my previously well-adjusted beater 2006 Honda Accord was getting trickier. Opening the door locks worked fine, increasingly the ignition slot was reluctant to relinquish any key without strategic coaxing. Various mechanic/locksmith "tricks and techniques" helped for a while but much like some of my prior relationships, the nicer I got the more stubbornly entitled the entire assembly became. One day it took a 15-minute Zen-like enabling session to remove the key. I'm no Phil Jackson so I shut it down, sulked a few days then finally called for help.
