I had an extremely disappointing experience with Swift Towing and feel compelled to warn others. The staff were unprofessional and came across as very rude from the moment I arrived. What really crossed the line for me was their handling of my vehicle. They asked for my keys under the pretense of locating the registration, but then proceeded to go through my car without my clear permission. This felt like a complete violation of privacy. There was no transparency, no respect, and no effort to communicate what they were doing or why. Customers deserve to feel that their property is being treated with care and integrity, that was absolutely not the case here. If you have to deal with this company, be very cautious and make sure you understand exactly what they intend to do before handing anything over. Based on my experience, I would not trust them again. Literally never review places but this company is the worst! Very rude employees who clearly only care about milking as much money as they can from people. The worst towing company ever. Zero notice given before towing. Car was parked in visitor parking at my residence while I responded to a medical emergency. It was parked for only 2 hours before being towed without any warning or consent. Upon picking up the vehicle, one tire was flat and the employee whom I was speaking with was very unhelpful and rude. Worst experience every. Towing fee was $211 but all the added fees and storage brought it to $561.30. My car registration name didn't match my driver license so I had to wait a long holiday weekend to go to DMV and have title and registration changed to match to drivers license. Go to pay and can't use card because it is in nickname - not the same as the registration and title I just had to change. Very shady business practices. I wouldn't give any stars but it is required. Towed my BMW due to "improper display of tag" and when i arrived to get my car with local PD everyone was suddenly unaware of policies and reasons on why no ones brains were workin. Worst experience and towing company ever!!! They towed our car from the handicapped parking stall at hobby lobby at the valley fair mall. My husband was waiting for me and ran into the store to help me for under 5 minutes and forgot to put the placard on the mirror. We came out and saw them hooking our car up to tow it and we yelled at them and they hurried and pulled off with our car. We were stranded. My purse, medication and oxygen was in the car and also my husband's wallet. We were far away from our house and there was no number to call to see who took our car. We finally got a number from the store and called them and they told us to call back in 15 minutes. Well they were closed then. So we had to make an apt that cost us another$100. We finally found a ride and got there and it was night mare after nightmare with them! Also there was tow trucks in the parking lot swarming all the handicap spots to see who they could tow and make money off of. What a freaking joke!! read more

THE WORST TOWING COMPANY. My parents were parked IN MY DRIVEWAY, with the bumper a little over the edge in the street. They pulled up to my house at 10:07 at night, to drop off MY SCREAMING 3 YEAR OLD. The garage was open, they were running RIGHT BACK TO THE CAR. They parked the car at 10:03, and the car was gone by 10:10. The driver literally saw my parents coming right back out to get in the car and go, and they turned their lights off and sped off as quick as they could. We called the number, they didn't answer. Once we did get an answer, we were told they didn't know where the lot was, and would call us back. He never called us back. We had to get unified involved. I understand if people are parking illegally. But they were literally in my driveway. This company is full of shady people who have nothing better to do in their lives. The facility is impossible to find, they make it impossible to get any information. They are so quick to tow, but then so hesitant to give any answers on why and how to resolve. This company towed my vehicle right in front of my home. I ran in the house for 10 minutes and it was gone. I looked to my right and at the end of the road I seen a truck. I didn't realize it was the tow truck at the time, because I only seen the front of the truck. I thought it was just a regular white truck. This company is horrible for towing my vehicle and parking 20 feet away from me and not saying anything. Super inconvenient! I'm not going to contact some news outlet like some of these people say they would do as I read their reviews or any entity. Too much of my energy they don't deserve, but I will pull over as I just picked up my car and write a review. I'll have to deal with my HOA accordingly. The owner, Kayda Alexander asked me for my email to provide my receipt, and as I verbally provided my email address phonetically, he asked if I was military. I don't know if they wanted to have a cup of tea along with the small talk or wanted to be BFF's . No, I'm not military, I just know how to spell phonetically. This isn't a social visit!!! This is literally the worst company I've ever dealt with. They towed our car in the middle of the night for "expired registration". The car is definitely registered but the dmv never sent us the stickers. If they would have pulled this car up and looked it up then they would have seen that. Swift Towing is very deceiving and has no ethics. My son was parked mostly in the drive way and some on the street and was there less than 10 minutes when a tow truck took his car. They hook up the car fast and gone in minutes where my son did not notice since he was looking under a car his friend was repairing in the open garage. The tow truck guy could have walked 10 steps to let my son know he needs to make more room in the drive way to pull up. I was told as soon as a car pulls into the neighborhood they following them to find a reason to tow. That is how they make their money. They also told us they can charge what ever they want since gas prices are high. No one probably uses them because of their reviews...that explains why they follow people in the neighborhood to find a reason to tow. The only positive thing I can say is the impound guy that I paid to get my car back was polite. read more

Beware! Horrible company! Do not use them! Very unprofessional! Takes advantage of people who need immediate help! Got mad because I wouldn't use his friend's auto shop! He charged $40.00 for 5 min! Got in a car accident and the cops called them to tow my car. I had already decided to have the car towed to my house, as soon as the tow driver got there he started pressuring me into taking my car to his friends auto shop to get fixed. I had my brother call him and while my brother was talking to him the police officer told me , "Do not let him pressure you into something you don't want to do," My brother advised that we take it to my house which made the tow driver mad, he kept telling me it would cost less to just take it to his friends. I would not change my mind and as I didn't have a ride home had to have him drive me. The whole time home he tried to convince me to take it to the shop he wanted but I wouldn't change my mind. We got to my house and he quoted me $189.00, I ran inside and couldn't find my hide away stash of cash and couldn't find my credit card, I called my brother and he said that we could us his credit card. I went outside and explained that I couldn't find the cash but asked if he would take a card over the phone. He would not, he said the only credit card he could take was from the owner of the car, all while puffing on his cigarette . I asked him if he would wait 10 min for me look for the card, he said he would, but would charge money for waiting. I ran inside and my aunt had found the money so I ran out to give it to him,it had only been 5 min. He had already started to chain my car back up. I told him I had the money but he then told me I would have to pay $230.00! He charged me $40.00 for 5 mins ! $200.00 was all we had! We did have quarters which would have been 20-30 dollars but he told me he would not take the quarters (which is against federal law!) I had slipped into the car so he couldn't tow it, and he told me to get out so he could tow it but I wouldn't. I called the cops (hoping they could tell him to take the quarters) and he said he didn't care, he would just wait and keep charging. I called my neighbor who came out with his card. He was able to pay with his card (even though he wasn't the owner) and he charged him $225.00. Beware of this company! I know for a fact the only reason he hiked up the price and wouldn't work with us was because we would not go with his friend. We were a couple of women in need of help and as soon as our male neighbor came out, he worked something out and even charged him $5.00 less then what he told us!
