A few years ago I called a Towing Co. and all was good until I went to get out of the tow truck at the dealership....stairs on truck were even ...no place to put a foot to step out. I held onto the door handle and thought I could do it. I slipped, was hanging from door handle...this slip broke my arm. No help was offered. That is not a normal thing, we just got lucky. Another 20 minutes and the spare was on, the flat was in the trunk and the paperwork was done. He allowed me to watch and we chatted a bit. It was clear that he knew what he was doing. I appreciated that. It was real roadside service. They were the first out of six people we called who actually will do what needs to be done to get the vehicle running again. I have his number and I'm not afraid to use it, again.

At 6:50 got a text saying A-1 Independant towing would be there in 55 minutes. An hour and 10 minutes later, a no show. Then got a text at 7:55pm saying that Top Notch would be there in half an hour. 2 minutes later I got a call from Top Notch. We talked for about 5-10 minutes, he arrived at 8:15 - FAST. He was helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, yes, I could keep going - he sounds like a Boy Scout and had the manners to go with it. I was going to take it to the dealer's and he suggested a place close by that, turns out, has extremely high ratings and satisfaction. We dropped it off, he helped with putting my key in an envelope and sliding it under the door. He told me that most towing companies stop at 6pm. And on a Friday? Forget about it. THEN he dropped me off at my house! He said it was on his way, but I don't know if that's true.
