Inside the wellness center is a large room that they use for fitness classes (zumba, chair class, pound, ect) as well as a gym on the second floor. Outside also has a gym area (covered and on the second floor) so you can exercise inside or outside if you prefer. There is both cardio and weight lifting equipment available. Everything is well maintained. The best part about this facility though is the outdoor pool. There is a large swimming pool with both lanes for laps (about 8 lanes I think) and a very large shallow end perfect for water aerobics. The pool is heated and available all year round, and is salt-based I believe. There is also a second pool called the "therapy pool" that is heated to around 90 degrees and is perfect for people with arthritis, fibromyalgia, ect. It's always clean and the patrons are very friendly. Outdoors has a shower and locker room available for both genders. I also want to note this facility is 100% accessible. There are ramps and elevators to get to the second floor. Also available is assistive machines to get into the pool. The wellness center offers both daily passes as well as memberships. Discounts are available for Medicare holders.

Two gorgeous, Olympic sized open-air pools, well maintained and absolutely state-of-the-art. Came here for USMS Short Course Swimming Nationals, and this facility made it an experience to remember. The size of the pools allowed the meet to run two heats of ten lanes at once, with the other pool offering twenty lanes for warm-ups and cool-down. Amazing. The meet flowed smoothly due to being hosted in such a perfect space. The Fresno and Clovis area high schoolers are very lucky to have such a fantastic space!

I called a pool tile company and they suggested replacing all of our tile, which was extremely expensive. Since our pool was built in the '80s, replacing the loose tile was not an option, as it is no longer available. As our tile continued to fall off, I saved as much as I could until I could hopefully find a possible solution. Fast forward to April of 2022, I called Brad, the owner of Dates Pool and Spa, to see if he may have any suggestions. He was on time for his scheduled appointment, and I found him trustworthy and very knowledgeable from the very beginning. He suggested cleaning our existing tile, having mosaic art pieces made in character of our rustic backyard theme, and reapplying the loose tile that I had saved over the years. As you can see from the pictures, our pool turned out beautiful and for literally a third of the cost of what we were originally quoted three years prior. Brad and his crew (Robert and Rick) worked tirelessly to finish everything before our upcoming backyard event. My husband and I can't thank Brad enough for everything he and his crew did for us.
