There is a bar with drinks and food options that opens at noon. The water is crystal clear and not over chlorinated. Water is a perfect temp to cool down in. It is open to the sky without building interference. Music in the background and a leafy fence to make the air conditioners invisible. There is a bit of noise from those on one end but not unbearable. There are also a few poolside games like bags, large Jenga and a sort of bucket toss. They do such a great job closing the pool that is it always ready to use within 24 hours of opening in the spring - clear water and perfectly balanced chemicals. This year, I unfortunately had mice eat through some of the elements for my pool heater and Dima came out to troubleshoot and fix quickly. He even cleaned out the mess the mice had made and took steps to deter them from coming back. Dima also spent a great deal of time completely rewiring my pool pump and equipment (it was wired wrong by the pool builder) so I could control everything via the app. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy residential pool service definitely use DMV Pools!

Had a great time visiting this community pool with friends who are members. The main pool is…read morespacious and offers plenty of space to float about, play water games, or swim laps in two sectioned off lanes. They have a fun slide and diving board area as well. There is also a separate kid play area with one of those waterfall mushrooms/umbrellas. They also have an astro turf playground and a basketball court in addition to plenty of picnic areas and large bathrooms with showers/changing areas. The life guards also enforce a 15 minute adults only time in the main pool at quarter of each hour. Our friend's son participates in their swim lessons and for $20, you get a one-on-one session with a lifeguard for 30 minutes. The price seems pretty reasonable to me for this area and her son has become a much more confident swimmer over the past month. We had a relaxing experience in the sun and water with our friends. Definitely recommend this location to others.

I've been coming here all summer for it's one saving grace: four 25-yard lap lanes, which rarely get too crowded. But I've found myself coming here less and less because I end up getting annoyed by the staff of teenagers who clown around so much you wonder if they're even getting paid to be here. I've literally watched them throw each other into the lap lanes where people are swimming and kick around a ball that repeatedly ends up in said lap lanes. I don't expect teenage lifeguards to be uber-professional, but I do expect them to act like they're at a job. It's not like $3/visit is much, but the fact that people pay to use this pool warrants some degree of order for crying out loud. I won't say much about the people who patronize this pool, but you can imagine how out of control this place can get if the staff is full of clowns. The pool itself isn't bad, although I'm not sure it's vacuumed more than a couple of times a week based on the crap I've seen collecting in the bottom. Today I actually saw a cockroach chilling on one of the lane dividers, if that gives you an idea of how seriously cleanliness is taken here. This pool has so much potential to be an oasis in the summer, and if it weren't so convenient I wouldn't come here at all. It's worth a few minutes in the car to head up to the DC pool at East Potomac, which is a Roman bath house compared to this place.
