Same thing even if there are 3 slots opens. Their team is unhelpful with bookings, rude, and there is no refund policy. So if you paid in advance thinking you were going to get makeups, think again - most likely, you won't have slots opening up for you to book your makeups at a time that works for you. Especially not if you're stuck with having to book for two kids like me.

She started lessons (which take place at the LA Fitness in North Brunswick by the old A&P) when she was 14 months old in the Tadpole class. She used to be afraid of the bathtub and hated taking baths. Now, she loves splashing in the tub! Taking swim lessons at British Swim School eased her anxiety about the water. We belong to our local pool and she LOVES practicing her swim skills. Everywhere we go, everyone is amazed at how much she loves the water. Our instructors are super nice as well. Edwin really knows what he is doing and his team does such a good job of working with the babies one on one. We can't wait to start up swim lessons in September !

Keep kids involved and interested all through the class. The span of class time (30 mins) just go in a blink of an eye. Very fun way of teaching kids. We coach with Coach Micheal and he's awesome. The best coach we could ask for. He super fun and teaches the kids super fast. The grading is done almost every week. Keeps the record updated and answers a lot of questions parents might have.

I took advantage of the free trial and I'm glad I did, because we will not be returning unfortunately. I'll start with the positives first, my 5 year old son looked like he had a good time. It was one swim instructor to about 3 children, and one by one she dealt with them, talking to them, while the others watched. He received googles during his time in the water, and overall looked like he was having a good experience. My 3 year old daughter on the other hand... was put in a lane that had two swim instructors, and four toddlers. Upon having both my children enter the water, I let the instructors know this was their very first time. My daughter's instructor asked me if it would be okay to dunk her which I appreciated, and I said if she is comfortable. That was all the positives for my daughter's experience. The two instructors talked to themselves the ENTIRE time. I do have all of this on video. I did not see my daughter receive any instruction. My daughter is very smart, and very brave, she watched what the other children were doing and copied them, but absolutely no instruction was given to her. Mind you, I'm sitting right in the front watching the whole thing!! You would think they would try just a smidge harder. Again, all of this is on video. When it came down to the dunking, my daughter was asked if she was okay going under, she said no. The instructor proceeded to dump water on her head, no explanation, no warning. My daughter was very confused, but she remained calm and kept wiping the water out her eyes. I'm so disappointed. Additionally, the other 5/6 swim instructors that did not have a class were talking so loudly amongst themselves, it was a very uncomfortable environment. Such a shame. I give an additional star only because my son's instructor was doing what she was supposed to do.

If you are looking for an upscale fitness experience, this probably isn't the right fit. Management uses trendy tactics to push members into group sessions, but it quickly becomes clear that their goal is membership renewal rather than actual fitness results. After giving this gym one last chance, several pitfalls solidified my decision to cancel for good. Trust me, the novelty wears off after the first week. For $250/month.....yeah nope.

I was very impressed by his response and am hopeful to see continued service levels across all area at Life Time. Unfortunately I echo many of the other reviews on this site - poor customer service and employee training-resulting in terrible customer experience. I recently went to the spa for a massage. Upon checkout the receptionist told me there was a note on my file for 20% off my service. She reached out to the spa manager who indicated since there was no name or date on the note that they should ignore it and did not honor the discount. When questioned they said that it was an employee error. Seems like the customers bear the brunt of all employee errors--I did send a note to the GM - Hayden Duffy. I look forward to a response.

It takes a lot of patience to deal with kids as young as 4 months to 12 years old. Did I mention patient? We found the coach Ms Kim very kids friendly and knowledgeable and the pool and showers to be clean. The parking is ample since it's attached to a shopping mall.

Shes two and this was her first lesson here and the coach didn't even take the time to get her comfortable with the water. she had her splash with her hands for 30 seconds and then picked her up and dunked her continuously about 10 times with short breaks in between. By about the 4th time my husband and I started to get worried and our daughter started to get upset. She was screaming but the coach kept dunking her under. My husband ended up going into the pool area and getting her out of the pool. He then carried her away to the bathroom area where she threw up from swallowing so much water. Needless to say, we will not be returning. The staff did not show any compassion, not once did they ask if she was ok. They were more worried about getting the business telling me they could switch coaches, give me a free class and even tried justifying the dunking.."its the curriculum." We've called management and will continue to spread the word that this behavior was not normal, and this is not the right swim school for children. Parents, make sure you are paying attention during the swim lessons 100% of the time. Things can change in split seconds.
