I ended up buying two sweaters and a journal. Their stuff is cozy Anna comfy but they did have some cute dresses. The dressing room was so inviting that I saw someone lying down in the middle area. The decor is beautiful with ballet type lamp shades and a rustic cabinets feel. The clothes were falsely provided and the clearance area was full of nice things.

They are all about giving back and faith. I have no problem with that - just not thrilled with the "Jesus" signs all over the store. They started in 2009 in Maryville, TN They have 118 locations right now. On Mondays give 10% back to the community - but just don't know how much gets to the individuals. She's knowledgeable, has a great eye, and is incredibly helpful. You can tell she truly loves what she does because she's always smiling. If you need men's clothing, ask for her...she picked out a suit for my husband that was absolutely perfect and only needed a little hemming. Now for Maika. She's been here for years, and for good reason. She tailored my son's clothes a few years ago and did a fabulous job. While measuring my husband's new suit, I mentioned that I had bought a dress online from Macy's that needed shortening. I showed her a picture, and she gave me a quote that was over $100 less than any tailor in town. I brought the dress in, she measured it, and said it would be ready in three weeks. Amazingly, it was finished within a week, and the dress fits like a dream. It's so beautiful that I can't wait to wear it to this wedding. Service like this is hard to come by these days. Recognition is absolutely deserved, and I hope this review makes their day the same way they made mine.

I found a couple things I liked so an associate assisted me to open a fitting room. I started trying on the top and jeans and a different female associate busts into my room without knocking. I was not dressed. No apology from her but rather a demand to know who let me in this room. I described the woman and she asked me to switch rooms. I told her I need to get dressed first! Well, it got even more bizarre.. A man walked into my fitting room. I don't even know what he said but I said you need to get out of here. He was an associate as well. I was very mad and left the clothes and just left. I told the woman she needs to be more professional. I know Saks is having financial issues but nothing is an excuse for doing that to a customer. Beyond that, the ladies in the cosmetics department were very pushy for me to try their products. I was just walking through to leave the store. I believe that was the last time I will step foot in any Saks.

We ended up figuring out the size ourselves by trying multiple shirts. Then an associate had to manually search the floor for the correct size and color, and after several minutes returned empty-handed. Because of the lack of organization and product knowledge, the team couldn't really explain or sell the value of the brands they carry. The store offers a broad selection, but without the expertise and basic tools to support it, the experience falls flat. Unsatisfactory experience -- I won't be coming back.

You have to do a little bit of digging and the shoe section can be a bit of a mess, but they do have major brands which are deeply discounted. I would definitely recommend Macy's Backstage, it's kind of like Macy's own version of T.J Maxx or Marshall's. Worth checking out if you are doing some shopping in the Boca area!
