Today I went back to this location. I had a few good experiences before 2020 however after the last one haven't been back. I ordered an ALL BEEF NATHAN HOTDOG. The lying young lady who took the order said it would be out in five. 14 minutes later I was presented with a very dried up sausage dog short to the cold bun. I again confirmed the was a Nathan All Beef Hotdog. She said yes. I asked to see the box it came in. She advised they don't keep those. I explained per the health department they had too. She refused to show me, refused further conversation about it and walked away. Maybe they need to up the age to work here to 13 years old. read more

This place has all the possibilities to be amazing! But it needs some serious, focused upkeep to make big impact. First, the gardener..... picking weeds along the golf course would go a long way. Fixing the broken golf lights and mulching would add definite appeal. Game room attendants would benefit from restocking prizes at varying prize levels, and ice cream attendants should empty overflowing garbage and wipe tables periodically, not just near closing. we made our own fun, but visual and basic upkeep can dramatically change one's view of a business. lots of upgrades needed for the money being charged. read more

Mini golf wasn't open on a sunny day. Manager was being rude. I'm very upset with my experience at swings n things

We were at Swings and Things in Olmsted Falls yesterday and unfortunately the Park performed poorly in several areas. Many games were non-functional, including several upstairs such as "House of the Dead 3." Other various games were broken or needed fixed, such as the mini bowling, and a round of skee ball where only three balls were present. When I asked about the skee ball balls, I was told that "some had gone missing" over the past few days. Other machines had "wifi errors" at times, even when they were working minutes before. Someone also spilled some sort of milkshake or cold coffee beverage on the inclined ice hockey ring, which took a while for them to clean up even though attendants walked by and did not notice the large white gobs all over until it was brought to their attention. One main problem was when we took a break from gaming to get some ice cream. She and I both ordered ice cream and Pepsi, with my order being placed at 3:25 PM and hers seconds after mine. The ice cream was brought out almost immediately, but there was a problem with the drink machine. At first, they said that the Pepsi needed to be refilled. That took several minutes, and I understand that the mixture needs to be replaced at times. However, after that was completed, there was an additional wait as apparently the CO2 in the machines also needed to be replaced or had some sort of issue. During the wait, we had to start eating our ice cream at the counter, as it was melting and if we had waited until our drinks finally came, the ice cream would be mostly melted by then. Furthermore, I was not given a receipt by an employee upon my initial purchase, and it took her several minutes to "find" it in the computer, even though only one transaction took place after mine. After 15 minutes, we were finally given our drinks, and we were able to sit down and actually enjoy the remainder of our ice cream, instead of eating it standing while waiting for our order. We were under the impression that the issue would be "quickly fixed" multiple times, so we waited at the counter, and they never offered to bring our drinks to our table. The ice cream should have been delayed since there was a drink issue, it was not. Overall, we spent roughly $60 in your establishment between games and food, but given Swings and Thing's performance, it seems like Dave and Buster's is worth the drive after all. read more

Two words for you people.. GO KARTS. Ok, maybe that is one? Hyphenated? Anywho, those are the words you need to remember. That is what makes this place worth coming to (in my not so humble opinion of course!) This joint has been around since I was a teen.....and lemme tell ya, that was a while ago. But, I digress.....not a whole bunch has changed since the days of yore. Sure, they have added a few things here and there, but nothing has really been remodeled. Outdated, falling apart and portions of the park non functional. Here, I will detail it out for ya yo! 1) Batting cages: Same old batting cages doing the same old thing. A ball flies at your head and you aim and swing. Not been updated, but still functional. 2) Bumper boats: They may have painted the things....but this attraction is exactly the same. Often times the boats malfunction, so that is no fun. 3) Paintball zone: This is something new they added and I do not paintball. It looks kinda shoddy from afar though. I do not know what paintball arenas SHOULD look like....but it looks like an art project a dad would do for his kids. Maybe I am wrong? 4) Putt putt: Ok....this was by far the most disappointing of the group. This has not changed AT ALL since I was a teen. It is really worn down and just looks bad. Almost no shade at all....so be prepared to roast like a chicken on the spit. Water is icky around the holes and it is just plain depressing. 5) Rookie track go karts: This is intended for the little tikes.....a TINY oval and the karts....well, let me just say I can walk beside these things. I am not looking for the indy 500, but if you are gonna make it so any human under 52 inches tall cannot ride the adult karts alone, you need to make it better. My 9 year old is just a tiny human....but she still wants to ride karts alone. The only way she can do that is with this track. 6) Adult go karts: They have updated the go karts in recent years and they are fun! Now, I still say they need to make all the karts go equal speed. It is NOT fair how some cars barely move and others literally zoom past you. Also, if your little human doesn't want to ride the rookie karts, you are stuck on a double kart. THEY ARE ALL SLOW. You cannot be competitive nor really go fast. It loses the excitement for the adult who wants to enjoy the speed....especially if you have no one to sit out with the kiddo while you are a "big kid" on your own. 7) Game room: Three words people.... WHAT A RIPOFF! A snowball has a better chance in hell than they do getting me to use my money here. Dave and Busters is a better deal....and that is saying something! 8) Ice cream and eating: This is just MEH....nothing special and very overpriced. We brought food and kept it in a cooler in the car. Yes please. BATHROOMS: The bathrooms at this place are absolutely....positively.....completely.... DISGUSTING! EWWWWWWW Customer service: The kids they have working here are wound tighter than the girdle of a Baptist preachers wife at an all you can eat pancake breakfast fundraiser. Smiles anyone? NOPE. They lost their puppies on the way to work. We continue to tolerate all the icky parts of this place because we can get an unlimited pass to ride the go karts. Plain. Simple. Easy. If the karts ever start going downhill....we will call it quits. read more

Their putt putt is very bland, no moving parts and the majority of holes have no obstacles at all, just green and some tiny elevation change. If you are thinking of hosting work events here, please don't. Not all of us have kids and this place it's very boring for adults. The one bright side is that their ice cream is great. read more

Summer is almost over which means an end to outdoor activities like cornhole and grilling dead stuff. To get some last minute summer fun in, i head to the putt putt greens. The sun isn't quite as hot and the crowds are thinner. Swings n things has a big but not too challenging mini golf course, go karts( i hate go karts, i'm always last!!), batting cages for hambones(copyright-Amy T.), an arcade and an ice cream shop. It's cheap and close for all west siders. I've played better courses, but all the other stuff to do raises the rating. Memo to my neighbor who ran his radial saw all summer building cornhole tables to sell in his front yard. Thanks a lot, i didn't need to sleep. Also, this is a residential street, we are not zoned for running a woodworking business. Go make that shit somewhere else and sell it on ebay. read more

Well I had my grand kids for a day so we decided to go to this park. Both are girls one i eight and the other 4 and a half. years old. After spending 134.00 for a all inclusive day pass we decided to try the water boats first. My boat quit working half way thru the ride and my 4 year old grand daughter was yelling for grandpa to "Get Going" Lol anyway as a senior trying to get in or out of these boats is very hard- I continued to wait for an outstretched hand to help pull me out-NO LUCK. All I needed was an initial tug. After this my wife and I thought well based on what's really viable entertainment for kids we decided to see if we could get a refund. 10 minutes is all the lapsed, we received an immediate "NO" we stayed and made the best of it. 2 children's ice crema cones , small cup cones were $10 . In these hard times sadly there is no compassion for American families trying to get a fair shake , NOT a handout , just a hand up. A partial refund would have been palatable. We stood in a very long line for the Go Karts, did the boats once, tried Putt Putt that was unmanaged by the park with kids running rampant through families putting. Dear SOURGE owners of the park please respect your patrons you have a good thing going, loose the attitude that we "Bagged you once" we dont care if you return or not attituded. A simple refund would have shown that our word was worth respecting and that the young man waiting on us knew we were there for 10 to 15 minutes tops. read more

We went here for a family fun day with my job. A nice little fun park. The go carts were fun and mini golf was ok. The arcade was ok but many of the games were not working which was a bummer. We didn't do the paint ball. I think my kid had the most fun on the go carts and playing the games. We had ice cream which they make at the park and it was nice. It's not a very big place which was kind of a waste. I'm not sure I'd go back on my own with my kids because for the price, it would be a waste. All they would want to do is the go carts and maybe the arcade but since it was free, it wasn't bad. I'm sure there are other places a bit larger. But for what it was, my kid had a good time. I would say fix the games that were down or remove them so people don't try to play them. I bought a game card and we still have money left so I imagine will be will be back again just for that reason. Again, it was fun for what it is. read more

Came for a child's birthday party. Paid extra on wrist bands for all the children. Pizza was to be served at 6:30, after being there since 2:30. Party area was not set up and the area for the party was just tables, nothing special/festive. Plain tables , no balloons, hats etc. staff extremely unorganized with no direction. After speaking to (2) managers they said they would come back to us with a resolution. The problem was that the party before us was just sitting g around and occupying the space. Again staff not prepared for our party. Left at 9:29 pm and no manager had the courtesy to speak to us. The party was 260.00 for 8 children. This is definitely not a place you want to have a child's party at. Will never come back. Poor customer service read more

Came here to use the Groupon that I've purchased in Spring. The Groupon was for unlimited games and go-carts. I'm quite glad that I didn't pay full price for this place. The park didn't have too much to offer. There were two mini-golf courses, a boat ride, batting cage, go-cart track, and paintball (extra cost) on the outside and arcade games and cafeteria inside. We played both golf courses and found many of the holes to be too similar. The course was also covered in leaves which got in the way of the ball. The go-cart track was a bit short and the cars were not very fast. We also tried the homemade ice cream inside. The portion was huge for being one scoop however it wasn't that good. We did see a lot of kids and families here and they seem to be having more fun. So maybe its more fitting for younger kids even though SNT hosts company events. read more

Had a great experience yesterday at Swing N Things.. we will definitely be back a lot over this spring and summer, most of all to use their batting cages! It wasn't too busy in the afternoon and we got right in without a wait. We were also pleasantly surprised while buying tokens to learn they were running a spring special so we got to bat for an hour on 5$! Great deal. Walking around the facility seemed clean as well as the bathrooms. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and polite. They had some other games and activities that also looked fun. If I had a kid I'd bring them here all the time! read more

I have been taking my son to Swings-N-Things for the better part of his life and it seems the last time they updated anything or cleaned the place was in his infancy. Maybe if they updated any of the arcade games, fixed the 50% that are broken or cleaned the mini-golf courses so they weren't algae ridden death pits this place would be worth the few bucks. Since they haven't I'll drive the extra 15 mins to Dave & Busters for arcade games or to Strongsville for mini-golf. read more

Now nothing exist but run down mini golf and overpriced go carts. the prices were reasonable back in the day but gone up big time. it's $27 I believe to get an all day pass to ride go carts bumper boats mini golf. I believe they were 10 dollars cheaper for these passes when they first opened. Now the place is like a ghost town and every time someone suggest this place I groan and remind them how bad it is. Went there for a company picnic and was highly disappointed. They had no problem taking my company's money for the gocart upgrade then they would not let our boys on. I understand it is a safety issue, but the way they arbitrarily enforce their rules just caused my boys to melt down. Even the bumper boats were too restrictive. They allowed smaller kids on before us but when it was our turn we were turned away. Not sure how they can consider the boats dangerous, they are powered by a trolling motor and the water cannot be more than a 20 inches deep. Even their website says lasertag is for any age, yet when we get there there is a sign saying they do not meet the height requirements. We may come back in a couple years. All my boys could do was play miniature golf and spend my money in the arcade. read more

Ok this place is ok we were looking for something fun to do on a very nice summer day. It has a little bit of everything bumper boats, putt putt, go kart race tracks, indoor Game Center, batting cages and a little restaurant thing. For the money to go through the whole park was like 39 a person. For what we wanted to do we just al a carted it and came out cheaper. The kids had fun all in all not bad. Been coming here since i was a kid. Place has way more stuff than before. My daughter likes it ok. The video games upstairs are half broke and were around when I was a kid... My only other gripe is that its super expensive for bumper boats and go carts. Also, they hire kids who sometimes could care less about helping you. GROUPON USERS PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING VENDOR NO. My daughter purchased 2 season passes from Groupon back in March. She gifted them to me but I was not able to locate the email. I did however have the paperwork confirming the order, showing proof of purchase, date of purchase and how much we paid. So I called ahead of time to find out what I needed to redeem our passes. I spent 10 minutes going over everything I needed with an employee named Katlin. I like to call ahead of time because I hate getting someplace and getting the run around or the embarrassment of not being prepared. Feeling confident that I had everything with me and gaining reassurance from Kaitlin I decided to bring my son in on Saturday. When I arrived, I showed up with everything that was discussed. One problem. I was missing a vendor number. This is needed in order to redeem your deals purchased from Groupon. Although Katlin was kind and tried her best to take care of the situation I was still feeling let down and irritated that here I was looking like a fool with my son and husband while everyone is having a great time. At one point Katlin called up Steve the manager because everything she tried still wasn't working. Steve actually made things worse, he made me feel like I did something wrong and I felt very uncomfortable, like I was bothering him. It was awkward. Katlin's customer service skills were outstanding. She was excellent with keeping me informed and she kept her cool the entire time. After about one hour of me calling and texting my daughter, calling Groupon etc. we were finally able to find the 6 digit vendor number. For me it was all work and not much fun. But I am just glad my son enjoyed himself. read more

We just went, spent what we normally would and were done in 15 minutes. With barely any tickets to even get the kids candy. It's a joke. If you are desperate for something to do with the kids...this place is fine. Go Karts...make sure your child can go on the big kid track because last year my son did not make the height requirements even though at the counter, we paid for the adult track after measuring ourselves on the wall and he was ok...high price to pay when the staff tells you at the track that you have to go to the kiddie karts...they have their own stick and will measure too BEFORE you get on. no reimbursement, no apologies...One measurement one place and another measurement at the track?? anyhow. a bit pricey but fun for something to do. We are tall enough now, but thats a bit hard to deal with if that happens to you. read more

This place use to be awesome. Have been going with the family for years, and each time I notice more and more how much it's gone down hill. The only thing they keep up on is their arcade. The staff is improperly trained, very unhelpful, just high school kids goofing around. The laser tag may be the dumbest attraction and such a scam. How anyone has fun doing that I don't know. The go karts are real dangerous. I got in a wreck, and literally waited two full laps before I was slammed by another kart. The collision could've been avoided had the staff been blowing their whistles trying to fix the wreck. I was a sitting duck. The staff didn't even ask if I was ok. I was shaken up and called it a day after that. Not very safe. My family's days of going there are done. read more

This place was the absolute worse. I attended my nephew's 7th year birthday party there. And in spite of the place being practically empty, with no other parties after us, they didn't hesitate to empty out the party room on time. OK fine. Now with the weather being what it was, we were restricted to just the indoor activities. That would've been fine too if the token machine and various games were actually working. And what made the entire experience the worst was the concession stand that was shut down because their register wasn't working either. The workers seemed as if they really didn't care. The party was already paid for and they didn't care that people were losing tokens on games that didn't work. They didn't care that people were there willing to pay for what little snacks they offer, but not really. We left parched and frustrated. Thank goodness the children still found a way to enjoy themselves. But as an adult there's no way in hell I'd recommend this place to any one. This birthday party was a rip off. Pure thievery. My daughter loves to go to swings-n-things. They have just the right amount of games. A few newer ones too! If you are looking to spend an afternoon doing something fun when it's warm out all the outside activities are great too! The staff has always been friendly and I can't complain about the prices!
