Loved it here we stayed for the Christmas Holidays everyone in the office was so sweet the cabins or huge just a few minutes from town but looks and feels like a peaceful and secluded getaway

Beautiful and quite secluded. Just off Blue Ridge Parkway. 5 min to downtown Blowing Rock, 15 min to Boone and 20 min to Banner Elk.

Very nice property right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. 5 min to downtown Blowing Rock, 15 min to Boone and 20 min to Banner Elk. Very close to many ski resorts. Secluded but close to everything. Great location. The property itself is very relaxing. The lake in the middle and the woods around transport you to another world. There are always ducks swimming around the lake and you can see the trout swimming in the lake. You will not get cell service here, but the free Wi-Fi was great. Didn't have Any problems with the Wi-Fi. But then again, you may want to tune out completely when you are here. But at the end of the day, these are not luxury cabins and not hotel rooms. Don't expect luxury. All the basic amenities are there, but very basic. But then again, you are in the mountains trying to get away. Do you really want luxury ? As a city boy, I want to rough it a little. Not crazy rough, but at least a little. Would definitely want to come back here again

Feed the ducks on your front porch, mountain trout in the lake for dinner. Relaxing in the mountains what could be better.

Ask the Community - Swiss Mountain Village

This will be our first trip to Swiss Mountain Village for our spring break week. Please advise on touristy things to do for the family. Also, can I bring my 6 lb Maltipoo dog with me?

No pets, plenty to do off property such as Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie RR, mining, Mast Store, Mystery Hill, Blowing Rock, and more.

The rent payments consistently get to me after the 15th of the month (even after signing up for direct deposit). Additionally, I have to arrange for my own maintenance person because they use expensive vendors and have a policy to send someone out for issues under $300 without your approval. I would not recommend this company. I believe they are very unprofessional. The comment below is completely untrue. I am sent an email every time my tenants pay. They have never paid late. Again, more unprofessional behavior by this company.

I highly recommend them they have helped a friend with a short sale, and I recently have hired them for the property management of my house in Charlotte. The staff and owner Yuriy are so friendly and easy to work with. They get back to me immediately with any concerns I might have and have answered all my questions (and trust me I had a lot) when it came to my house. My house was rented immediately after they took it over and I know that it's in good hands. The best part is they have taken all the worry away from me as a homeowner now landlord. I don't have to worry about a thing and I know my house is in good hands. Whether you are selling, renting, short sale, or any other kind of real estate transaction you can count on the team at Carolinas Metro Realty. They take their business seriously and treat their customers right.

I would define it as "Sophisticated Simplicity". I was staying here for a personal getaway and was assigned to a beautiful room with a separate sitting room, a gorgeous bathroom, and a zen bedroom. The decor was lovely, stylish and tasteful. The staff was professional and helpful. It was quiet and relaxing and only a short walk away from the town center, perfect location! There is a pretty little creek that winds along the back garden area, I really enjoyed sitting out and watching the ducks. I am torn between keeping this little gem all to myself, and sharing its amazingness with the world! I can't wait to come back.
