My watch has been back here 3 TIMES in 8 months. Each time, it's a similar (but different) issue that "has been fixed". On the 4th time, my watch was running 6 minutes fast per day a month after serviced by them. I wised up and took it to an authorized Rolex service location to see what's actually going on. They let me know my watch had been sloppily serviced which was causing the issues( t. On that same note, the watch maker pointed to certain mechanisms/pieces that were never serviced to begin with. Sent back the ladies for larger Diamonds and Sub Mariner for adjustments just after purchase. Taken care of then without problems. Just sent back Submariner 1 day after 3 Year warranty expired. My only criterion when receiving a preowned watch from a company is that their claims are valid. We happen to live near the SF, officially licensed Rolex repair center and I have taken the three watches I have received from SW over the last 5 years to this organization for validation. Each time their statement of serial numbers, movements and aftermarket pieces have been fully verified, except for one watch crystal that could not be ascertained (cost me an amount to be replaced that SW refunded upon my request). Why I GIVE 5 STARS! First, this is second Rolex President I bought from SW in about 3 years. Both were bought online after I shopped all over online and in the NYC jewelry/diamond district where many rolexes are available. The first was a men's President which included a trade in of my gold&steel datajust. This was easily done with photos of my watch. Simply put, I got the best deal from SW. It was shipped to me and was as advertised and ran/runs fine. It already paid for itself from the stares, glimpes and praises received from total strangers and friends. The latest is a women's President for the wife. The wife loved it though I knew she wanted a different face but she quickly changed her mind when she saw it. But there were two(2) issues with the watch. The band was not large enough and the time was not working well. Panic over here. I called SW and spoke to Nick. He simply said to send it back at his cost for either a REFUND or fix the watch. We selected 'fix.' SW waited sometime to make sure it was working as it should and sent it back with more links and running smooth. I went to their location in Downtown LA to look at some used Rolex watches. I didn't want to buy anything that expensive online without taking a look at the product and to my eye the Rolex watches they showed me didn't seem right. Maybe some parts of them were real but if you know what to look for in a Rolex watch then you will probably know what I'm talking about if you go and see for yourself. The guy that helped me was nice enough but the watches he showed me were definitely suspect: the "L" on the dial was faded or had a scratch on it, the bracelet didn't feel right at all for a Rolex, there was writing on the back of the watch where there isn't supposed to be any writing on a Rolex, and other markings on the watches did not measure up to a Rolex. I didn't buy from them because none of it felt right. Do your homework. read more

The information that I found on the Internet left me "mixed" about it. When you are considering such a purchase, the money involved, and that it's an Internet purchase, it pays to be wary. Second, I know how malicious competition can be or a disgruntled client (justified or not--mostly not in many cases) and how they will use the Internet (something of permanence) to "get back" at someone or some company. With that now written, I still encourage all to do your own due diligence to your own comfort level. After all, I could be someone posting that works for the Company! I am not, though! LOL! So! The saga continues. Today, I received a FedEx package from Swiss Wrist. I thought it might have been some other paperwork associated with my watch that had not made it into the earlier package. However, this particular package and its contents was TOTALLY unexpected and a complete surprise to me! Apparently Austin (CEO of Swiss Wrist), reads what is out there on the Internet about his Company. Therefore he became aware of my initial review. What I received was a letter, (on Company stationary), apologizing for the lackluster customer service; a $25 gift card; AND.... $150.00 cash! (refer to my initial comment to discover the origination of that.) I was absolutely floored by all of this! I had already been recommending the Company to my friends but this act just took me off guard. In my view this was unnecessary but most appreciated! Thank you Austin!!! Once again, these are MY experiences with this Company. I once again encourage all to do your own due diligence to your own comfort level. By the way Austin, I was so impressed by this gesture that the money went to two charities (of my choice--sorry about that) on behalf of Swiss Wrist. $75 was given to the Ali Forney Center and the remaining $75 was given to the Salvation Army. I was looking to sell my little worn Rolex which was gathering dust for the most part. I live in New York so I made calls to several authorized Rolex dealers and was not pleased with the quotes they gave me. I saw the ad for Swiss Wrist and gave them a call. I spoke to Nick who asked me to take a picture of the watch and send all the relevant info. Shortly after, he got back to me with the offer ,which was much closer to what I was thinking was reasonable. Nick told me I had to ship the watch FedX (He provided the label and insurance) to his office and upon receipt he would send me the check, in this case around $5,000.00. In short, Nick did everything he promised. He was above board and accessible throughout the entire process. The only hiccup came when I gave him some incorrect info regarding my checking account so he could wire the money. He handled my paranoia and Fedxed a check the same day. They were pleasant, polite, and professional when I called them. I had to e-mail them copies of my driver's license and credit card. I received the watch precisely on the promised delivery date. I decided to return the watch a day later, but not through any fault of their making; it was totally a personal decision. They processed my refund within two days of receiving the watch. They were excellent to deal with. They never gave me a hassle about returning the watch, as some merchants are wont to do. I have absolutely no reservations about recommending Swiss Wrist. I am not big on writing reviews, but I thought that it would be important to share my experience with this company to date as it has been one of the worst experiences that I have ever had (that is still playing out) ranging from the lack of basic customer service, misinformation and the general reactive nature of the organization. In addition, I have purchased other premium watches online so I have a benchmark in terms of what to expect. Okay, this is the general timeline: On Thursday 12/19 I wired the money for a Rolex; Thursday afternoon I called to confirm receipt of funds and was told that the wire went through and that I would receive a FedEx tracking number by Friday. Friday comes and goes, no tracking number. I call on Saturday and was put on hold for 10 minutes. After calling back, I was provided with a FedEx tracking number that indicated a 12/24 Tuesday 10:30 AM CST delivery time. However, over the weekend I noticed that the shipping information never changed status from "Initiated" to "In Transit", etc. The watch never actually shipped. I send an email on Monday 12/13 to inquire about the status and receive no email response. I call several times on Tuesday 12/24, leave messages and receive no call back. At this point I do not have the watch in time for Christmas. On Thursday 12/26 I call again and speak to both Ken and Austin. They both apologize and explain that I will have a shipping number by 1PM CST Friday 12/27. 1PM CST comes, no shipping number and no call. I call at 1:30 PM CST, neither Ken nor Austin are available. I speak to Javier and ask a simple question regarding when I will receive my tracking number, he says that he needs to call me back, but cannot be specific on when. After haggling on this minute issue, he agrees to call me back at 3:30 PM CST. I will update this as the saga continues, but in general my experience in dealing with this company has been a complete, unmitigated disaster. One week later and counting, no watch, no indication of when the watch will be received, no sense of urgency to satisfy the customer, no clear answers, no basic customer service skills, etc, etc, etc. 12/28/13 Update - After no call back at 3:30 PM CST, I call them only to be put on hold, but when they did return they were able to provide a FedEx shipping number. The watch was delivered on Saturday morning 12/28, four days after the original promise date with a check to credit some of the purchase expense and for the issues and inconveniences that I experienced. Overall the watch is great, it is everything that I expected. However, the company is extremely unstructured and their approach to customer service is more suited toward fast food versus high end retail. read more

I got straight worked. Completely duped. It's almost impossible to find a legit used Rolex dealer in Los Angeles. Swiss wrist moved from downtown L.A so I thought well ok this seems legit. Downtown has many watch dealers and I didn't have a good feeling after one visit. So I decided to purchase the Rolex from swiss wrist. They seemed decent on the phone, answered most of my questions. At the time I didn't understand the whole serial number thing, watch band value etc.. There is a few key things your Rolex needs to have to be of value. I was told the one I was getting did. Nope! My band is loose and worthless the year of the watch was fudged. Such as when they tell you it's an 80's model or early 90's. No, it's either 1990 or 1995 etc... The serial will clearly state the year it was manufactured. So I tried to get a good price and grind a bit. I was told it was the best they good do and no better. It's a clean watch, that there was very little room on the watch. Wrong! I over paid by at least a 1,000 dollars. So I decided to go back downtown and speak with as many shysters as I could. They told me my band was loose and worthless and I over paid. They would offer 1/2 of what I paid cash. That meant in less than 3 weeks I lost 1/2 my investment. Downtown I could of bought a watch that was at least 10 years newer and in better shape for less. Swiss wrist took advantage of my little knowledge I had of Rolex. People should inform you and help you make a great purchase. This is my advise for your next Rolex purchase. Find the model and year you want, stick to what you want in the store. Research online and call as many dealers as you can. Demand you see the serial number, make sure the band is not super loose. Also stick to a price. Downtown turned out to be the best place to find a watch. Lots of options and plenty of different dealers. If you dig you will find a few diamonds in the ruff. Wave a wad of cash and you might just score a clean legit watch. read more
