Feldmar is my go to in LA for watch repair. They've always done excellent work and it's fast. An AP Royal Oak that I had sent for a complete 3 month service to the AP official factory service center still had issues with the crown so I took it to Feldmar and they fixed it immediately. They also fixed the quick-set function on a Submariner. I think the repairs all took less than a couple days. If you have a quartz watch, it's also a great place to have your battery changed while you wait. They do water resistance tests with the service. Feldmar has a nice selection of new watches and I've always found the service to be very courteous. I like the no pressure vibe here and it's a pleasure to shop. Family and my watch collecting friends all love this store and I've driven them all here at some point. My mother was able to order the hard to find original rubber straps for her 1980s MDM Hublot watch here. She was so happy. I took my dad here once when he was visiting L.A. and he had so much fun buying multiple Victorinox Swiss Army "Officer" watches. And another friend of mine that I brought here purchased a very hard to find Rolex GMT 116718LN (which they must have sourced on the resale market) and he absolutely loved it. It's strange. I inquired about a watch that they carry to see if they had it in stock. I talked to someone on the phone and they said they don't currently have it, but that they can find out how long it might take for the watch to arrive if I special ordered it. The rep I spoke to said that they would get back to me about it the next day. No one contacted me the next day, so I called. Someone picked up and stated that the rep that I spoke to the day before was wrapping up with a customer and that they would get back to me after that. After a couple of days, he still didn't get back to me. They also don't seem to respond to emails. So I gave up and ordered the watch at another shop. Maybe they make so much money or met their quotas that they didn't need or want to make the sale. Not sure what the issue was, but they are surprisingly bad at following up with people who are serious about buying. I probably won't ever bother with this shop again because it was just a waste of time. read more

I asked Jimmy to order the matching gold bracelet for it and wired $15,000 in full before the order was even placed -- based entirely on years of trust. Two months later, the bracelet finally arrived -- and it was wrong. It didn't include the diamond-set end links that were clearly meant to match the original watch configuration. I was distraught. My favorite watch had stopped working and still did not work after replacing the battery. I have been to Feldmar before and have always like the staff. Friendly, courteous and helpful. My wife's watch had stopped working also so, we loaded the beast (Sophie, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and ventured to the west side. Ben greeted us with a smile, took both watches in the back as we browsed the great selection of watches on display. Ben returned 10 minutes later with both watches. Both watches were working and Ben said my watch had become magnetized and he de-magnetized it. Great work and for a nominal fee too. We were off in 30 minutes with 2 working watches. I took my Alpina Startimer to Feldmar for servicing as the GMT hand no longer aligned properly. Feldmar sent it away to be fixed under warranty, informing me it might be "a couple months" before they got the watch back. I received the watch (wait for it) SIX months later! Further, the watch no longer runs AT ALL. Probably the worst service experience I have ever had, regardless the business. If you have a watch that needs servicing you're more likely to get your needs met by taking your timepiece to your vet. Whatever you do, do NOT take it to Feldmar Watch Company. read more

top notch authorized watch dealer. Ive purchased a few pieces from them, and service was outstanding. I also brought in a piece I did not buy from them for help with servicing it and they were more than happy to help. They also explained how the service process works, if and when I would be charged and how much. I got my watch back in good working order as expected, in a faster time frame than predicted. If there is one caveat to this store, its the selection of brands they carry. Not really a fault of theirs, as I learned from Freddy Y, who explained that it is out of their control whether or not a watch brand will make them an authorized dealer, so as much as they want to carry certain brands, sometimes they just cannot for many different possible reasons. They have a few free parking spots in the back and you can go in the back door. Otherwise you can try finding street parking out front. The store itself is clean and spacious, and all the staff are friendly. I live an hour away, but will happily come back to them again and again.
