This was my first time ever eating at Swizzler Crispy Chicken and Smash Burger, and honestly... I wasn't even supposed to get this order. I had ordered Wise Guys on Uber Eats, and this showed up instead and I am SO glad it did. Whoever originally ordered this got a bacon jalapeño burger and a spicy chicken deluxe. The jalapeño burger was a 10/10. I'm not even big on peppers, but it had the perfect amount of jalapeños, great flavor, and was just really well done. I passed that one to my friend, and I took the chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken deluxe was incredible. Perfectly crispy, great sauce, and I'm pretty sure it had bacon on it, which just took it over the top. Everything worked together so well, and I was honestly upset that I hadn't known about this place sooner. The fries were also really good, crispy and plentiful. They remind me of Five Guys fries, but honestly? This felt like a better version of Five Guys overall. I don't even know what the price was, but I can confidently say I would pay good money for both the smash burger and especially that chicken sandwich again. The best part? This place isn't even far from my house, so this is officially my new burger spot. Sorry to whoever lost their order, but thank you for putting me on. I'll definitely be back.

Great good burgers are good and the chicken was also good but the frys had way to much salt. Restaurant could be a bit cleaner though just saying. Price was a bit up there for burgers. But they do taste good.

Very solid burger meal option for 20 dollars. You can tell every thing is fresh and made in house. Def want to come back and try their spicy chicken nuggets as well. I came during the lunch rush and they got food out quickly and with good quality and care. My one comment and where they lose a star is the man behind the counter was just the worst. Obviously hates working here and was rude in every interaction he had that I saw. All other employees were nice so maybe they should consider retraining him for the grill instead of front of house.

TL;DR Swizzler is another Chicken & Burger spot with all the feels of a Shack Shack but better. If you're in the area it is the number option for a quick cheap bite instead of in Nationals Park. My wife and I planned and decided to go here before we hit the Breezy Bowl, and I'm glad we did. We knew going in it was going to be just like other quick service burger joints but we were surprised how good it was compared to Shake Shack. You can't go wrong with a burger of Chicken Sandwich but I'd prioritize the Chicken Sandwich over the burger for sure. It was seasoned really well and the nice crunch and was tender and juicy. The service was decent and did a great job handling the slight rush of folks getting food before the show. It didn't feel like we waiting long at all for our food but it was hot and fresh. The inside was very regular not special at all, and kept decently clean. The bathrooms could've been better everything was out TP and paper towels but I'll give them a little bit grace given there was an event.

No seed oils, woohoo!! Burger was very good and give it an 7.5/10, very solid burger. Best in DC? I'm not sure about that one. Everything is made to order and ready in about 5 minutes. Their signature sauce is great! Crispy chicken sandwich was fresh and also good but their burger was a bit better, 7/10! Fries were really good, cooked in avocado oil, 9/10 in my books! There's about 5 booths in the restaurant then some bar style seating near the front entrance

Craving for some juicy burger so I decided to order a delivery from Swizzler. Ordered the Standard American which comes with two patties, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and a side of fries. I think this burger would be better eating as soon as you order it. The delivery person was great but the food was warm not hot.

Ordered the swizzler signature cheeseburger with fries and loved it! Great portions for both the burgers and fries and left plenty full. Made to order, so might be a little wait but it is def worth the wait. Would love to try the chicken next time to see what's that giving.

If you're craving a burger this place got you covered. Checked Swizzlers out with the boys and we all agreed the burgers were legit. Had just the right amount of flavor with each bite, wasn't too greasy, their swizzler sauce pairs perfectly.. definitely satisfied the craving for sure and justified the price in my opinion. Personally the fries aren't the most memorable , they go well with the burger but by the time you're finished you may just forget about them. Its a small space that can get filled up quickly but we got lucky and managed to find a seat so be mindful if going in big groups. Overall its definitely a solid spot in Navy Yard to have in rotation.

This is a pretty solid burger spot! For the price, the portion is really good. The fries are my fave kind, and I love that sauce that comes with. I got the signature burger and that was also good! The only reason it's not 5 stars and there are better smash burgers out there, but it's still good! The staff is nice and service is fast, overall a great little spot.

I'm not sure how this place made the top 5 burgers in D.C. list because it's really *just* okay. The patties themself lack flavor and seasoning. The bun is to die for-- so buttery, soft, and a bit of sweetness. It was definitely the best part. The fries are delicious and came out piping hot. I also really loved the lemonade. But the star of the show, the burger, was bland and not memorable. Definitely not the best burger in Washington, D.C., at all.

Solid spot for a casual burger and fries. I like how they use 100% grass fed beef and avocado oil for their fries. However, fries could be a bit crisper. Apparently there was a recent change in the menu but everything is pretty much still there. They also have a kids menu! It was my first time there and I saw the teamwork behind the counter. The employee who took care of me was very personable as well. Would come again.

If going to a Nats game everyone said get your Swizzler here rather than pay stadium prices. Didn't know whether to go for chicken or beef. Went with the smashburgers and it was actually a pretty good smashburger. I went for the Swizzler Signature and my husband did the Bacon Jalapeño- he said mine was better. I liked the griddled onions and pickles plus I think there's chopped pickles in the Swizzler Sauce too. It all went together very well. The fries reminded me of Wingstop fries - they were good too. You get to pick a dipping sauce too with your fries, we tried their Spudz - which is like a fry sauce. Overall it was good meal, soda machine is behind the counter - but they do refills. The restaurant was just really warm though, didn't have the AC blasting or the kitchen heats the place up!

Fantastic burger! This on the same level as Five Guys. Quality toppings and a well done burger. They do have a simple menu so don't expect much, but if you just want a burger and fries, this is the place. Easy counter service and plenty of seating inside.

She was most likely on auto pilot and appeared embarrassed when she realized it. I politely smiled and said (confidently), table for 1. We solo diners need to be loud and proud! I digress... Before being seated I found the restroom. I found it odd that it was extremely dim. The main dining room was brighter than the restroom! I also saw the Photo Booth. Interesting addition. $5 for pictures. I was seated at a small round table with two chairs by the window. The restaurant was plenty busy, and I'm just glad I wasn't asked if I wanted to sit at the bar (I didn't). My server Noel brought two bottles of water: still and sparkling. I requested lemon slices, which he brought. And I proceeded to finish the entire bottle of sparkling by the end of the meal...guess I was thirsty! But I appreciated the option of both. I forgot to ask for a straw, but saw them in a container at the register right behind my table, so I got one myself. After ordering I noticed a nearby table had some bread so I asked Noel if they served complimentary bread. He said yes and apologized for not bringing it initially. Not that I needed it, but I don't eat bread with butter often and this was a night out to indulge a bit. There were two slices, nothing special. My food arrived within about 10-15 minutes and looked so scrumptious. I ordered the lamb and short rib meatballs and Brussels sprouts. The meatballs were pretty good, but what made them even better was the tzatziki sauce. I didn't realize the green rice was on one side of the plate until I was almost done. That tzatziki sauce was really all I needed to go with the meatballs. It was cool and creamy to go with the dry, meatiness of the meatballs. I honestly wish there had been more of it! I did not finish the rice, which didn't look super appetizing because of the intense green color. I will say though, I'm not a fan of spicy food but the tzatziki had a kick. I think perhaps due to chopped jalapeños. I tried to avoid them once I realized. The Brussels were delicious! Roasted to perfection, not too charred and not too mushy. I requested the green goddess sauce on the side because I'm not a huge sauce person, but once I tried it, I couldn't stop. Again, the combination of the creaminess of the sauce with the flakiness of the Brussels was a genius pairing. During the meal the beverage manager stopped by. I didn't have any drinks with the meal, but perhaps I will return to see what they have. Noel brought the bill at my request, then brought over the portable device so I could pay at the table. While that process is efficient, it's always awkward leaving a tip when the server is standing right there. Anyhow, overall it was a good experience and a delicious meal!
