This is the best place to get burgers in DC hands down. It's nothing fancy, just good patties, simple sauce, some onions. It is absolute perfection. The fries are fresh and crispy on the inside with a fluffy inside. The chicken tenders are fresh chicken breast and such a flavorful crispy batter. I had ordered Wise Guys on Uber Eats, and this showed up instead and I am SO glad it did. Whoever originally ordered this got a bacon jalapeño burger and a spicy chicken deluxe. The jalapeño burger was a 10/10. I'm not even big on peppers, but it had the perfect amount of jalapeños, great flavor, and was just really well done. Perfectly crispy, great sauce, and I'm pretty sure it had bacon on it, which just took it over the top. Very solid burger meal option for 20 dollars. You can tell every thing is fresh and made in house. Def want to come back and try their spicy chicken nuggets as well. I saw Swizzler had a location in the ballpark, but I figured I'd wait until after the game. I had the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich with lettuce, tomato, dill pickles, pepper jack cheese and their spicy chicken sauce. and it comes on a Martin's potato roll that's been griddled. Griddled potato roll, that's the way to serve it! It was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had in some time. Crispy skin, juicy meat, and good level of heat, but not overwhelming. Not greasy either, which is definitely an issue at some fast food chicken joints. For a side, I got the fries with spud sauce. They were nice and thick but they could've been just a little more crisp. Sauce was fine, it was sort of a burger/thousand island sauce. I drank an Arnold Palmer. Now, I could have gone to shake shack but I wanted to try out this place. The food seemed a bit more substantial. I did like the food. The burger had two patties and a cheesy/mayo sauce that was kind of like an improved big mac sauce. The onions were similar to the big mac, as well as the pickles. But the smashing of the burger make the patty taste very nice and not dry at all. Food came out very fast, within a few minutes. That is faster than shake shack. There was quite a number of people ahead of us, so it took a while for the food to come out. The first thing I noticed was how photogenic the sandwich was. So yeah, passed the look test. Crispiness was just right for me and it was good. Pretty basic like some of the other things on the menu. The burgers, which most people ordered, looked really good. Of course, they do have other items if you like more flavor, spice, and other ingredients. I don't know if they have any kitchen fans, but the greasy smell of a fast food restaurant permeated throughout Swizzler. It was so strong that we smelled like Swizzler coming out and through the night.
