Walked in randomly for good eats after the museum and um so happy we did. We had the pleasure of being serviced by Louis and his shadow. He was attentive, quick and accommodating during the entirety of our service. There was not a need that he was able to assist with and his recommendation of the mushroom burger was perfect. I cannot speak to their pizza but the cheese pull and lack of remaining pizza was enough to sell me. They also have a crazy ranch dressing that I feel has to be homemade. We came here in a big group before an event on the mall. Otherwise, I would have not chosen it. I ended up with a burger and fries, which weren't bad. The America 250 burger has a fun blueberry-bacon jam and the fries were decent. I ordered a side of GFC sauce for my fries. It was a bit sweeter than I expected but good. The pizza looked a bit like bowling alley pizza, but my friends said it was good, and I didn't try it myself. The dessert was fine. The sticky toffee waffle tasted more like breakfast than dessert and could have used a bit more ingenuity. My biggest complaint is service. The restaurant clearly doesn't have enough staff for its size. We never got water refills, except when asked. Our dessert took almost half an hour to arrive and when we tried to cancel it because we were going to be late to our event, they said it was too late. The QR codes to split and pay bills didn't work. And two unisex bathrooms for a massive restaurant meant long lines. Even though the food was honestly decent, between the high prices and poor service, I would not come back. Even for Chinatown, there are much better options. read more

Came in for happy hour prior to seeing a show, and there was only one seat available because of the twelve seats, five of them were taken by children. It may be an unpopular take, but kids shouldn't sit at the bar, at least not during happy hour. The check and dirty plates from the previous guest sat in front of me for a while and were only cleared after the bartender took my order, which took about ten minutes. In fact none of the empty glasses or plates were being cleared. He gave me the regular menus and gave me a look when I asked for the happy hour menu. Ordered the "Hotter than Hell" wings, which would have been a good deal at $7 for six normally. However the wings were tiny, the sauce was hardly hot at all, and I got charged $3 for blue cheese. Still hungry, I'll go somewhere else for better service and better portions. Then I had to ask for napkins, as they weren't given to me. When I went to pay, the only options were 20%, 23%, or 25%; no option for a custom tip. I normally tip 20%, but certainly didn't receive 20% service. This is a hip and trendy spot. I placed my order online, directly from their website. This place specializes in, yep, you guessed it, burgers. They also have wings, salads, and Mac and Cheese. There is also a co-located pizza restaurant that serves some unique pies. But anyway, I got the idiot burger with a side of fries. My order was ready when I got there. There was a ton of food, and it was really good. I must say, it was reasonably priced too. The fries were good, but they did not really travel well, as most fries do not. The food came quickly and this is definitely one of my top 3 favorite burgers of all time. I ordered the Idiot Burger abd git an over easy egg on top. The short ribs were not dry and added a sweetness to the overall burger. Our server was quick and extremely attentive and provided refills without any one of my group asking. There are video games, a photo booth and a pool table that is all for free. Seems to be one of the best places to bring kids or full adults as well. This is a very laid back atmosphere. Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered the backyard burger and a side of mac and cheese. We started with the Caesar salad which was served in large romaine hearts - stupid. But taste was good. The burger was very good, good flavors and I asked for extra OGR sauce which was more like a non-kick buffalo sauce. Mac and cheese was very rich. Our waiter in the basement - tall guy with a soft voice - was very nice and comped our shakes due to the wait time. Weird thing he said they do is make burgers in batches and whoever is up to get burgers takes and serves their tables. Kind of like playing a draw straws. I had a sticky toffee shake to finish. Service: Good but misleading. You can come here for the Street Burger and Street Pizza. It is all one establishment and you can order off of both menus. We we not informed of this until later in the selection of our meals. Food: Espresso Martini - Standard. If you are looking for a classic drink, this one hit the spot with the caffeine kick. Pizzas are Neapolitan Style. White Truffle Pizza - Greasy and heavy. It was kind of expected with they type of topping but I wasn't prepared for the full flop of everything falling off the slice, so it turned into a fork and knife kind of pie. The flavor was had a nice truffle flavor and the mushrooms gave it a nice earthy texture. Sausage Pizza - Good. It was a simple margarita style pie with added sausage. I was in DC for the weekend and wanted to try out new restaurants and I found this place for a quick lunch while walking around town. I only found out this is a new place after reading other reviews that it only opened a month ago. Anyway this place have both pizza and burger but when you are seated they will want to know what you are planning to eat, however I have see other people eating both burger and pizza just fine. We were seated on the main floor so I can't tell you what the lower level was like, but the lower level was supposedly for burger and main for pizza We only waited about 5-7 min for a server to come over to take our order, we ordered drinks, wings, and a few burgers that come with fries. It took about 8min for the wings to come out. The wings were fresh, I did get the sauce on the size, I got bbq and sweet chili kimchi, the sweet chili kimchi sauce is amazing. We ordered Idiot, Mushroom, and next level smash burger. It took about 15min or so to come out. The all the burger looks very fresh, tender and juicy, and the fries are fresh and with good amount of salt. My idiot burger comes with beef rib in it, there were 2 piece, one was fine but the other one was just fat and chewy, however that did not stop me from eating the rest of the burger because the double patties were fresh and juicy, just the right amount of meat on it. It also have these little crispy onion on them, I did not have cheese on it. My wife and daughter had the mushroom and next level burger and they said it was delicious. After we finished the burger, another server came over and ask if we wanted the waffle because they had an extra and it was on the house and we said ok, so this was a very nice bonus. We were already very full, this was an excellent service. Inside the restaurant it is clean, bright, and have many space and seat. The price for the food is reasonable, I have no idea what the other people are complaining about that the price is high and the food is no good, if you want to eat cheap burger then go to McDonald, this place have the Gordon Ramsey name on it and you would expect to pay a little more. Don't come and complain if you can't afford it. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch, next time I might try to pizza and they looked pretty good from what I seem. read more

Burgers were decent. Lots of fun ones to try, I got the hells kitchen one and the chutney was fabulous, loved the slight spicy kick. The patty itself is bland and needs more seasoning but the toppings are fantastic, all my friends enjoyed theirs. Fries are thick and good. I don't remember which wing sauce but it was like a creamy buffalo derivative, nice. Spacious and vibes are good. BLUF: Stuffy, stinky, greasy basement venue with underwhelming grease-saturated burgers & fries. Over-charred meat was bland & dependent on the other goop on the burger to give it flavor. Service was effective but didn't feel genuinely welcoming or friendly. Price tag for burger & fries not worth what we got. Surprisingly small portions. We absolutely LOVE burgers. So, we were excited to try Street Burger and curious to see whether the food lived up to the quality of food that seems to be expected on all of his shows. Did it, you ask? A solid, NOPE. Idiot burger = Must have gotten its name because the person ordering it believes there's a short rib in this thing. Couldn't see it. Couldn't taste it. The burger meat itself wasn't very flavorful. Was that because its quality wasn't as what you'd expect a Gordon Ramsay restaurant to have or was it just not prepared well? When the burger & sweet potato fries first got to our table, both the bun and the fries were cold & meat was lukewarm. The stuff on the burger added nothing to the taste experience. Hell's Kitchen burger: The meat on this one was way overcharred & I could only taste the siracha in the cold aioli on the lukewarm burger meat. The caramelized onions were indistinguishable from the meat. Kinda just a blackened grainy heap. The fries: We ordered the regular fries & sweet potato fries. The regular fries were ok. Nothing appealing visually alongside the burger and only slightly more crispy & warm than the cold sweet potato fries that arrived alongside my burger. All super greasy, especially the sweet potato fries which looked like they were pre-cooked & dropped into old oil. Took them home to reheat & saw that the oil coated the take out container and the pot when reheated. Worth the drive? Not so much. If you're curious, go for it. But if you really want a great experience, burgers, and fries, I'd say go somewhere else. Sadly, I would have easily preferred a Habit or Red Robin burger & fries over these. Unimpressed by this restaurant bearing Gordon Ramsay's name, and I did not appreciate smelling like greasy fried food everywhere I went afterwards. Granted, I visited only a week after this place opened, so take this with a grain of salt. First, the burgers were fantastic. The food was spectacular, and the price was fantastic. The service, however, is where the experience didn't live up to expectations. First, there is a Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza place on the main floor, and the burger joint on the lower level. When I arrived, I asked if some members of my party can order a pizza, and we were told they keep the restaurants separate. However, I watched multiple burgers being brought upstairs to the pizza restaurant diners. I suppose being a pizza order downstairs was too much to ask. Once we were sat at our table, it took 15 minutes to see our waiter, and even then, it was the floor manager who said he was going to help out and take our drink order. He had to come back and take our food order too. Our food was delivered by a different server. Bottom line is, if we had a server, we never meet him or her. The result of the poor service is it took 20 minutes after we sat down to get drinks and 45 minutes for us to get food. Once the food arrived, it was great. I just wish I could have also gotten a pizza or two, but they "like to keep the restaurants separate," even though burgers were CLEARLY going to the pizza restaurant. The service was terrible and slow, but as mentioned earlier, this was 7 days after they opened. Hopefully things improve, but if you don't want to wait 45 minutes for a smash burger that takes 5 minutes to cook, you may want to wait for them to work out the kinks. read more

Street burger was so filling and perfect after for my mom after she ran her marathon. This was my first Gordon Ramsey restaurant and I have been a fan for years. The hells Kitchen burger was delicious! We had an order of the dirty fries and it was amazing! I wish there was a way to upcharge the fries that came with the burgers with the dirty fries. There was no seasoning or anything on the fries with the burgers (which was kind of a Debbie downer after the dirty fries). The whole family enjoy everything from the truffle and idiot burgers, peach Bellini pitcher and Oreo shakes. I wish we had room for the pizza because that looked divine as well read more

I really expected more from my visit. And was surprised to see the three star review on a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. After dining, I totally understand unfortunately. First of all the food was amazing! I got the idiot burger and fries and have zero complaints with either. I also had a soda which tasted funny, which likely means they are not cleaning their icemaker. It's really unfortunate that there was absolutely no service to speak of at this restaurant. It was over 10 minutes before I got up and asked for a drink and server, but this was done after asking the table next to me if there were any servers around and they told me that they had to go to the bar because they couldn't find a server either. ultimately, I placed an order with someone and the food came out about 10 to 15 minutes later. But at no point did either of the two identified servers ever stop by my table. I sat there with two empty cups (water and soda). I waited for another 15 minutes after being done and Steele nobody had shown up to my table. This has been nearly 45 minutes now. I went to the restroom to wash my hands after eating the amazing messy burger, and when I came out, sat backwards in my chair to try to draw attention to myself at which point somebody that I thought was a manager addressed me I made the comment about not having any service to this person and was astonished that they told me to go talk to the manager who I actually thought was my server. This restaurant and the rest, just some restaurant business borrowing a guy's name, who is famous for berating other cooks and restaurant business for having horrible food or services. Apparently, he doesn't do that with his own namesake shabby business deals. This restaurant is just full of smoke inside because possibly has poor ventilation and the smell just stuck to my clothes now, burger quality that is little better than McDonald, a service that has lackluster and lazy like any horrible restaurant in DC. They charged 3$ for a ranch without even informing and it's cheap tasting too. Sad day to be in the burger business. read more

The OG sauce is too thin, almost watery, and way too much mustard it needs more mayo and a dash of ketchup. Too many pickles and using bread and butter pickles is just too sweet. I loved how thinly they sliced the red onions but they didn't use enough to balance the sweetness from the pickle. Asked for lettuce and tomato and got one small thin slice of a Roma and it too was lost in the mustard sauce. Too much salt on the fries. Jimmy was an excellent server. Burgers were good cooked to a medium, as there was no other option per our server. It's hot this week in DC . We made it a point to let our server know we were warm and looking forward to drinks and food.. Service was extremely slow, looking around at 5:45 PM on a Tuesday. There were three other tables with small parties and two people at the bar. Our drinks never got refilled even with requests. Our server never checked on us or our food fries came seasoned. Not sure if they serve a sauce or have ketchup because those were not options available to us. The burgers are plated by the kitchen staff and put on a serving table visible to everyone in the restaurant. Being a party of four we watched our food sit on the serving table for approximately 10 minutes before I made contact with my waiter that our food might be ready. We finished our food, requested our drinks, be refilled again. Server was an absolute slow mode with no ambition. The manager arrived, sat a couple at a table and checked with the bartender. You guessed it. We called the manager over and asked him to refill our drinks. We finally got our drinks refilled, we updated we updated the manager on on the slow service happening downstairs in the street burger section. The manager appreciated our candid critiquing . But he had to tend to the table next to us we're still waiting for their togo containers. This place needs serious retraining for any type of long-term success. Kitchen staff sure seemed like they know what they're doing, but it ended there. So many options in that area of the city. It doesn't matter what name you put on it crappy service is crappy service. Before you ask, we did inquire if our server was new cause that would've meant it was a training issue. Our server was not new. Just likes to hang out, go slow and slow is the only speed they had. After a day of site seeing we decided we needed a burger! What a great choice! Terrific vibe downstairs plus it's nice and cool. Our waiter Kenny made great suggestions with the Idiot burger GFC Burger (chicken). My wife and I split them. Yum. Our 10 yr old son had the kids cheeseburger. Crushed it. I was fortunate enough to be Street Burger's first in-house diner for lunch on opening day!! The hostess and servers were all incredibly kind, welcoming, and checked up on me regularly for drink refills. And the food was amazing! The mac and cheese had a mouthwatering aroma and was perfectly gooey and cheesy. The idiot burger (with short rib, cheese, onions, and barbecue sauce) was juicy and flavorful, yet without falling apart in my hands! Well, I gave this a 3 because the burger was just a basic everyday ground beef patty with the basic toppings. It was not bad food but it was just ok. I was expecting more with Gordon Ramsay's name but the patty was unseasoned- or it least it tasted that way. I could get a better tasting burger at a fast food restaurant so wasn't worth $17. This is my first review as well as my first Gordon Ramsey restaurant Overall takeaway: just get a burger and fries The food was great we had a burger, Mac and cheese and the Oreo shake (the Mac and cheese was severely lacking in flavor) the only reason this isn't a 4 star review is because the organization of the restaurant is terrible they ask you if you want to be seated in the burger or pizza floor and you only get a menu for one of the floors. the reason why this is confusing, is because it messes up the order your food comes out. our burger arrived first within 10 minutes the milkshake came next about 5 minutes later because it was made upstairs. the sauce we ordered for the fries arrived after we had finished eating also because it was prepped upstairs. And for about 5 minutes we were waiting for our Mac and cheese which was...also made upstairs. Overall if they just combined the two restaurants and menus in addition to the servers on both floors working together as group I think that the service would be much quicker. read more
