I had to call the police and everything because they kept saying that it was nothing they could do because their footage is not picking up anything of me inserting any money into the machine, which I know is definitely a lie. The assistant manager and store manger were both saying the same thing basically. I had called corporate and I was told that I should hear something back pretty soon. Please, try not to use any cash in their self check machine because it will keep your money and they will use every excuse in the book to not give you back anything. Cameras DO NOT pick up on every little detail. I called the police and everything, they instantly sided with them but it's okay because they're gonna lose way more than $50 dollars. I am about to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau because what they did was wrong and definitely unethical. Plus, very unfriendly.. I just won't take my business here anymore. I hope this location goes out of business. I had never had an issue until last night. ETA: I eventually got my $50 dollars back. I still feel like the next time I go to any five below other than this one, I will just let an associate assist me with the card or money and if they can't, I'll just go elsewhere.
