I was in West Palm Beach for Ma's 85th Birthday and wanted nice napkins and paper plates for the celebration. Swoozie's came up on Yelp for a party planning store. Beautiful layout with themed decor for every occasion you may be pondering. This location is behind the Garden's Mall in Palm Beach Gardens. There is street parking as well as a covered garage. There is a clearance table in the rear of the room... I bought from the main items in the store and scored some napkins and plates for our impromptu soiree. Some items are pretty pricey but you are in an area that 'in theory' can afford the cost. I found the customer service to be fine... but I am also engaging when I walk into a store where people might treat me suspiciously. Which I will point out didn't happen here. Swoozies was inspired by a mother who longed for a one stop shopping experience for all the gifts a person might need to buy for birthdays, weddings, teachers, hostesses, etc. Kelly worked with her husband David who had extensive retail experience and they opened the first Swoozies in Buckhead, Atlanta Georgia in 2001. There are now 10 Swoozie's locations including this one in Palm Beach Gardens. The store is well organized and has a lot of great gifts items, wrapping, greeting cards and stationary. Everything is invitingly displayed. I love their sweet Halloween decorations and they had an extensive selection of my favorite Scout bags. They had a Florida themed Scout bag that I had never seen before and fell in love with and honestly may have to go back for. They also carry games, children's items, home decor, and kitchen items. The inventory is brand name and can be very pricey. I was interested in a pillow featuring my daughter's college UCF and it was over $200! A decorative dish towel was a more affordable $15.They had many items I have not seen elsewhere and it was fun to explore this store with my girlfriends. read more

Rude! The place was completely empty and without customers until my party of 2 and I walked in. There were two women at the register who looked up and didn't say a thing. It was our first time in that place and definitely our last. We walked all the way to the back to check the store out and THEN we heard a greeting. I turn around and they great two women who walked in. Notes: * I noticed a lot of their products look like designer knock-offs that you could personalize. Well, personally, I would just go to the real designer and pay the extra money since I know they'll actually acknowledge my presence. read more

I hadn't been here in years and decided to go back now that I'm living in the area again, remembering them as a good gift store. They still are but driving up from Ft. Lauderdale for poor, poor service once again - I won't be going back. There were 2 people working Friday night ...the store was not busy and both were standing behind the counter totally oblivious to customers talking between them and then on their phones...I was in the store for about an hour. Their service is seriously (still) horrible and they're SOOOO aloof. Find somewhere else that appreciates you as a customer and values your business. read more

Not sure if this actually was a legitimate company at one time but it no longer operates like one. Phone numbers on their website are no longer I. Service several email addresses are no longer active, corporate office phone has a "full mailbox" and calls are not answered. If you place an order you do not receive confirmation of your order in a timely fashion. By the time I finally heard from them I had already canceled my credit card to keep my credit safe. read more

While waiting for our YardHouse event to begin, I perused this mall store. Never been. I was amazed by all the fun girly stuff they had! Perfect place for gift shopping. They had designer themed display tables as you walked down the aisles. You can get items monogrammed. Loved the Kate Spade and Lilly Pulitzer collections. There wasn't anything I could not find. I was on a hunt for an anniversary card so I popped in to Swoozie's as I was in the area. I was not really impressed with their card selection, however I was very pleased with their multiple gift sections. The store is very easy to navigate by different types of designers and age ranges of gifts. I enjoyed how products were shown generic as well as how one might personalize them. The staff was friendly and helpful when asked about a certain product. I will definitely be returning for future gifts! read more

I ordered something from Swoozie and received the incorrect color. On September 30th I called 888-511-7080 and spoke to Kristen and she could not have been more accommodating. She listened intently and shipped my product out immediately. Kristen was polite, professional and listened patiently to me. I have been working in Customer Service for 40 years and it's refreshing to see that Swoozies has great Customer Service. You can guarantee that I'll be buying on this website again. Swoozie's is my friends and my absolute FAVORITE store in downtown at the gardens! or... WAS?? we were exploring the seemingly ENDLESS world of trinkets and holiday decor on a late Sunday afternoon, and with high spirits landed ourselves in the small children section. We were quite tired from the voyage, and our legs grew more tiresome with each movement. All but one of us took a seat on the surprisingly NASTY floor. As I read to those on the floor a SUPER cute, s'mores book, we were rather rudely interrupted by the startling accusation, saying that WE were PLAYING AROUND?!?! I never leave reviews but this was just too annoying ... I approved a proof on November 30th for some gift labels and paid FORTY DOLLARS for rush shipping ... I was told that for $40 the labels would ship on Dec. 9. It is now Dec. 19 and I have no labels, no tracking information and worst of all, no response to my communication attempts over email and phone. These labels are very simple and I spent a lot of money on them plus $40 JUST FOR SHIPPING and 18 days later have nothing to show for it. Don't order from them!! read more

I purchased holiday cards from Swoozie's online on Nov 30th. I ordered the cards without any personalization. The website said it would take a few days to process the order and then ship them out. I emailed them wanting to know they received my order. They sent me a confirmation of my order with no information as to when they would ship the cards. I tried calling multiple times and the message said I had to email them. I emailed them because I wanted to know when the cards would be shipped out. I never got a response. I emailed several times...no response. I went online after over a week later and saw the product is currently unavailable. I wrote to Swoozie's again stating what I am writing in this review. It was a very fun store. Might be going in here more frequently when I visit my mom in FL. We popped in because they were having their after Christmas sale and it was a wonderland of things to look at. They had all types of gifts. For children and adults. They had books, bags, bottle openers, decorative wine glasses, fun signage, baby stuff, etc. Everything was so bright and colorful and exciting to look at. This place is ZERO stars for customer service! What an AWFUL experience. I was in the store this morning with 2 people working soon after they opened (with 1 other customer there), and not a single hello or greeting to acknowledge that I was in the store. Both 'Customer Service' people were too busy carrying on a personal conversation. Once I was close to the counter looking at their jewelry, I made eye contact with one and she looked me up and down, still no hello and then continued her conversation. Unfortunate for you Swoozie's I was ready to purchase a number of items in your store - and because of your AWFUL customer service and inaccurate profiling (I was not dressed to 'Palm Beach standards') having just come from my morning walk.....I'll take my business elsewhere. Just moved to Florida from California and this was my second visit to swoozies. The first time I had the good fortune to meet Nichole Spalluto. Explained I needed party favors for a friend celebrating her birthday July 4. Nichole set me up with amazing goodies from plates to hats, placemats to sparkly stuff, and all on sale! I was thrilled, to say the least. Nichole also shared if ever I needed anything wrapped to stop in, purchase paper and ribbons, and leave it to the pros! Well, today I stopped in once again and Nichole came to my rescue. I needed baby shower items wrapped and she worked her magic, with genuine kindness and tremendously great ideas. What the hell kind of name is Swoozie's anyway? I had to walk in and see what this bright and festive shop was all about. Then like a wave, it hit me. I squeezed my best friend's arm and my voice got about ten decibels higher. "Oh my god. Oh my god!" She understood; she knew. We had just stumbled upon my version of Heaven. And for the next hour, there would be little she could do. I let go of her arm like a little girl entering a toy store. I'm pretty sure she watched me skip to the first section of the store entitled: Entertaining for Theme Parties. Here's the thing, I absolutely need Flip Flop Appetizer Plates and Salt and Pepper sets. I must have Black and White Floral Napkin Rings and don't tell me there's nothing practical about a Turtle Dip Bowl and Seashell Spreader. And FYI: I've already planned my patriotic July 4th party based solely on inspiration I've acquired at Swoozie's. This stuff isn't super expensive nor the highest quality in the land, but it's adorable and fun without being tacky or overly cheesy. It really gets me in the mood to pour margaritas for all of you. Swoozie's also has an intense Stationery and Invitations section with designer paper covering all occasions. So basically you can find something unique for every female you know here. It's as if Swoozie's took all of the independent gift boutiques I spend hours browsing through in Manhattan, slashed the prices in half, and put them all in one big store for me so my little feet wouldn't get tired. My mother and I just left this Swoozie's store in Gardens, and were appalled by the curt and abrupt manner that was displayed by the employees. We had a few questions regarding a cup we decided on purchasing, and were shocked by the snarky answers to our questions, if they were even answered at all. Terrible customer support and the lady ringing me out was not able to handle a register on her own and had no business doing so in first place . Adorable shop with a little bit of everything. The sales girl asked if we needed help or a basket about 5 minutes into our shopping trip. We bought adorable napkins and a monogram letter for a bag at home. We also bought a small lily pulitzer gift. They gift wrapped for free! It came out adorable. There was one woman in the store buying stuff for her 50th birthday. She got such cute things. I highly recommend this shop, but plan on the pricing to be up there, it's not a junk store.
