I would have loved to say that this place was wonderful but as for my experience it was everything BUT wonderful. I walked in today with a family member as we were given a list of items to purchase by my interior designer from This store . We walked in and there were two frames I absolutely loved, they were beach drift wood and framed, I said out loud " oh ! This would go perfect above my bedroom set that I purchased a week ago from RH. My family member said" oh ! I have a friend that makes something similar but for tables! She showed me a few pictures on her phone and jokingly said " I wonder if she could make something similar, she lifts her phone up, to take a pic, and I responded "no I actually LOVE these pieces ! I wonder if I could get two of the same piece to have four to fill my wall up! ". She said " oh ! Haha ok , ok , and I moved on looking for the pieces I originally came in for, (NO photo was taken ). At that very moment mind you we were NEVER welcomed in, No other customers in the store. Just the older gentleman working at this store . This gentleman fiercely rushes over and says with a short manner "no photos can be taken in the store" I responded with my soft voice " oh she didn't" with a smile , She was about to but she didn't. He responded " I find that hard to believe when her phone aimed at the light fixture and snap a shot and bought her hand down, as he was explaining with such a mean gesture and horrible attitude . He then continued to steer angrily at me directly as if I was lying and when I turned back he proceeded to share that my other person took a photo of some light fixture at the entrance.. funny thing was We never even looked at a light fixture, I said SIR! She did not, and it just became ridiculous. He proceeded to argue with me, never in my 39 years have I ever had anyone argue with me over something that could have gone smoother by saying ," ! HI ! Welcome in, just a kind reminder no photography of our store.. " I held my hands up palms out and said " Sir, clearly we are not welcomed here, we are leaving but she did not take any photos, quiet frankly this is gotten a bit absurd. He responded, "well yea ok I'll rewatch the footage of the cameras to verify If it's true.. ( I mean , how old are we ?? ) I laughed a bit because it was preposterous. My designer was there a few days ago working on a Large project for us on multiple Rooms and spoke to Shawn or maybe a Steven or both not sure on a name she gave me a large list of items to look at but we got opposite treatment. Not only were we practically forced out of this store on false accusation but I really felt discriminated, as if I couldn't afford anything in this store ( We can) . I know if I were Caucasian I am sure our treatment would have been different, clearly we were not welcomed. It felt like a pretty woman moment. We were NOT greeted, not given any kind reminder and just mistreated and harassed. No signage anywhere in the store( because I looked as we exited ) , looking for " no photography " . On top of that my designer was in a few days snapped a few photos to my husband and . The funniest part of all said and dine there is that YELP reviewer posted PHOTOS within the store on here!!, my family member didn't get that far of actually taking the photo ). I do not like confrontations it was hard for me to write this cause I'm a super nice person, but this needed to acknowledge, this isn't ok!! read more

I decided to stop into this shop because it is new in my area and I was curious to see what Bungalow Home Furnishings had to offer. The short answer to that is "Nothing" but an experience with a rude, angry, hostile, bitter & paranoid salesperson or part owner. I walked in and the salesperson never even looked up from his desk. "I" made the jester to say hello. This was the following dialogue: Him: Have you been here before? Me: Yes, but there was a sign on the door that stated someone would be right back and of course, the door was locked Him: You didn't wait around? Me: No, it was working hours and therefore, I left Him: Don't you understand that people have lives (with attitude) ?? Me: Of course but I feel like someone should be minding the store Him: LEAVE MY STORE Me: I proceeded to leave the store as requested Him: Hollering, "You're NASTY" and proceeded to TAKE MY PICTURE as if to intimidate me. "He" opened the front door to escort me out. No other words were spoken by me except, "thank you" when he opened the door for me to leave. It is important to mention that: 1. I never raised my voice 2. I never cursed 3. I never threatened anyone (This was a huge man) 4. I never harassed anyone 5. And, I left quickly when asked It should be noted that the conversation is one he started, by asking me if I had been to the shop before. A good salesperson would have responded with, "I am sorry we inconvenienced you" instead "he" wanted to engage. He was locked and loaded and was probably pretty angry before I even entered the shop. By the way, I didn't see anything in the store that I was even remotely interested in. With the combination of uninteresting goods and hostility, I give this shop 6 months and good-bye. read more

While visiting my mom for her birthday this weekend we stopped in hoping to find some new furniture for my patio at my primary home and potentially for my beach house. After a few minutes of dealing with a lovely, helpful young lady the owner appeared with an attitude He said we don't transport items you should "buy where you live". When we asked if we could buy from him and have it shipped. he said NO. When we wanted the name of the manufacturer so we could " buy where you live". He said get out I'm calling security I would strongly suggest avoiding this store. You're better off finding a friendly store who's willing to help vs hate! read more

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because they have cute items in this store. I walked in this afternoon to take a look at some furniture ideas for my new condo. I loved a bed in the corner, and took a photo of it. Immediately this man was on me, questioning me like the police. "Who are you sending that photo to? " . I was shocked. I said my husband and my decorators to see if it will fit in our new home. He becomes angry and says "exactly! And they will order it from somewhere else! No photos are allowed here for that reason!". I was embarrassed, shocked and speechless. I have never been attacked like that. I didn't even make it 20 feet inside the store before he made it clear I was not welcome. I will NEVER shop there again and strongly recommend anyone that prefers to Shop and not get harassed, look elsewhere. read more

I have purchased varied items from both of their stores. They are unique, made well and really make a room special. I have always received great service and info. I was taken back by the unique furniture, decor, wallpaper and lamps in this store. Sean went out of his way to welcome me. He took time to explain the way that they bring in unusual wall art and decor so that it doesn't look like everything you see. And he does a amazing job. My favorite is the palm leaf leather light fixture. This store is just stunning. read more
