This was my second pool installation, and Gulf Coast far exceeded my previous experience in Texas. I had a gunite pool before, but after seeing the difference, I would never go that route again. The owners clearly explained the pros and cons of each pool type, allowing us to make an informed decision. My 14x30 fiberglass pool was completed in just two weeks, including a few weather delays. The process was incredibly efficient -- they dug the hole on day one and set the fiberglass shell on day two. Every employee is a specialist at their job, and we worked with Tom, Jon, and Aaron, who kept us informed every step of the way. When I noticed the pump wasn't the variable-speed model I wanted, I called the owner and he immediately agreed to upgrade it at no extra charge. This company truly does whatever it takes to make sure their customers are satisfied. They also offer a veterans discount, which is a great added benefit. After installation, they leveled my backyard so well that no additional grading was needed for landscaping. Once the pool was filled with water, they sent a technician out to professionally clean it and provided clear, easy-to-understand instructions on how to maintain it as a saltwater pool. Dale came highly recommended so I reached out to him. When he arrived, he surveyed the project and had a number of innovations he recommended. I was particularly impressed with his confidence in his ability to construct the enclosure I had envisioned. As it turned out, he constructed something much better. This particular enclosure required thoughtful planning and multiple geometric calculations. There were three different angles that approached the roof line where the aluminum support beams are bolted into the rafters. I provided a variety of photo's to illustrate the level of customization required. Dale didn't cut any corners on quality or materials. As a matter of fact, the entire enclosure was made of higher tensile strength grade materials. Even though we were well inland, he still constructed the frame to Florida's hurricane standards. You will notice the liberal use of Nylo-Tec screws to secure all the framing materials. This is critical as Dale pointed out during our first meeting that nothing he uses will rust. Keep this in mind as you survey other contractors work. Also make sure they us double K braces. This closure was constructed 4 years ago. I have had zero problems with the quality of the materials and construction. Our family has really enjoyed the many benefits of having our pool and outdoor living area completely enclosed.
