Justin is the guy you are going to deal with and he is super honest and knowledgable, and I swear they can figure out and fix anything. I have had my 2006 Silverado in trhe a couple of times as well as my 1997 Subaru Legacy. They quickly diagnosed the issues I was having and fixed them well and quickly. They use good parts and, my favorite thing about them is that they don't try to upsell you on a bunch of stuff. They will let you know if they find other things that need attention and give you a good honest opinion on the urgency of a repair. They are easy to miss since you can't really tell that its a garage from the front. In fact if it weren't for the guys at Chicago Music Store which is attached to the west end of the shop, I wouldn't have thought to go there. Every time I've been in the waiting room, I meet somewhere between 1 and 3 loyal customers who would never go anywhere else. I bet if I stayed in the waiting room all day, I would meet 20! Some are people who are now bringing their children's cars in! Had the a/c go out in my 10+ year old Jeep. Searched for a reputable independent mechanic on Yelp…read moreand this one checked all of the boxes. Next appointment was a week away. I booked it. Loved that they have pre-8am appointments. I arrived on time and was greeted by awesome Jenny. After checking me in they promptly took my vehicle. 10 min later I learned it was just low on refrigerant (actually near zero). That didn't surprise me because it was less cool recently but still coldish. And then one day it was instantly lukewarm. First time in its entire life so it really could have been anything that failed. The a/c check ran $60 and the 1.25 lbs of coolant brought the total, with tax, to just over $120. I was done in 30 minutes. They tossed a dye in with the refrigerant just in case there's an active leak. Fingers crossed, all is good! Tip: if you GPS the location you won't see the street number or their sign because it's "tucked" about 50 long yards off the street, midway deep amongst all of the locker/garage containers that populate this large lot.
