Many of you have asked or been asked do you know an honest, reliable, and great car mechanic that I can take my car too? Well I just found one! I hate having to take my car to a mechanic because 95% of the time I can fix my own problems. The 5% comes down to not having the right tools or its beyond my knowledge. I had a serious electrical problem I couldn't figure out. I sucked up my pride and took it to Scott at Performance Complete Auto Care. Scott gave me a direction he wanted to take with the troubleshooting and repair . He gave me the best and worst scenarios and a ball park price with each one. I used to be a jet engine mechanic for years so I know when someone is giving me bull, but he was speaking truth and I felt confident leaving my car there. A couple days later he called and stated the best scenario he gave didn't work out. He explained why it didn't work out and also stated he was puzzled why it did not because almost 99% of the time it works. He even humbled himself on the phone and stated I had to call my buddy in another state that specializes in your make a model to see if I had missed a step. Say what a mechanic that admits he needs help so he can make the repair right for the customer?! Very nice. It was confirmed he had not missed a step, and it's that rare time when a new part needed to be ordered and more calibration comes with that. Again, I believe him as his detailed explanation fit the problem. I talk mechanic language so I knew he was a straight shooter. The repair was completed and I picked up my car. He again apologized because he really wanted to keep the bill low for me. Again, he gave me a recap of what he first did, and what was the final fix. I didn't mind the final price because I knew I got a quality repair and I met an honest down to earth mechanic who loves his trade. I first came here two years ago. I have been back several times on several projects, Around 4,000! In various repairs on my car. I recently had a gas smell. Scott knew it was the fuel pump. Well he stopped looked at the fuel pump and said it had to be replaced immediately, could have been a fire hazard. Then 7 hours later and one new fuel pump for 1500 out the door it was done. I went back two days later and it was clean and dry no gas leaks from the fuel pump. So while I may be judged by others from there now for being too nice that's ok , please feel free to judge me as you like. That is new there now , it wasn't that way two years ago . Very happy with the professionalism of this shop. We needed a full engine replacement on my son's Suzuki. They gave us an extremely fair quote, with the understanding more issues may be discovered later. They are extremely popular and busy. Even though they close at 5pm it is not unusual to see them working late at at the shop to get work done. Because they are popular, they have a full parking lot and sometimes it takes a while to get through on the phone. I recommend NOT leaving a voice mail but to call back later, either way you do get a response. Due to parts issues, it did take over a month but I had no issues and expected some issues. The final price was only about $500 more than the quote for necessary motor mounts and replacement parts. People are great. They diagnosed that as well as some brake repairs that would soon be needed. They completed the repairs, including turning the rotors, and I was back on the road the same day. My wife was miserable with the small stream of cold air that was struggling to push its way out into her car. Given that we live in an oven in the summer...we decided to get it fixed. So, Jiffy lube looked at the AC for free and told her that the compressor needed to be replaced by a full service mechanic. After looking around, we saw other Yelp reviews and decided to give it a go. The communication from this family run business was great! They offered an appointment and shuttle service even though we live 20ish minutes away. The woman driving the van called to let her know she was leaving and when she arrived to drive her to pick up the car. Everyone was super friendly too! The work was completed promptly at the quoted price. We got a tune up too and they replaced a head light for free.They also (unexpectedly) cleaned the car! Recently we moved over to the east side and didn't want to drive to our old mechanic (who we honestly weren't the biggest fan of), we saw the good reviews and decided to go with Performance. Originally we were just going to get our oil changed and fluids checked since we are taking a trip soon, but when we called to check on the car there were definitely issues that needed to be addressed before our trip, and while the prices were fair, it was much more than we were planning on spending but knew we needed to get everything fixed. We did not mention our AC had not been working the last year and we knew that was going to be another expense we couldn't worry about but lo and behold, Performance took it upon themselves to check it out for us at no additional cost and now we have a working AC!! They found issues on the car I wouldn't have been able to find myself and ended up saving me over 1000 dollars if I were to have purchased the vehicle (which I did not). Absolutely worth your money and the mechanic with the beard is very good at what he does although he could communicate things in laymens terms more often. read more

There were many indicators that the staff were taking COVID-19 precautions.The staff had masks on, and disinfected my car key before returning it to me. Located on Valencia by Old Vail Rd. Scott the owner double checks everything. But they were not taking any COVID-19 precautions. No one was wearing masks and they were all standing within one foot of each other. They do not put the car on the lifter to do oil changes or rotate tires everything done on ground. They hoisted my car up using a jack to rotate tires. The guy who was rotating tires was smoking a cigarette the same time another worker was changing my oil. None of the employees wearing gloves. Except Scott the owner but did not change them. Greasy gloves. The workers consistently went into my car cabin without gloves or masks. In the lobby employees not social distancing with customers. They offer discounts for veterans. They topped off all fluids and will spray your car with lysol afterwards. They did a great job but not following any pandemic guidelines why I gave them 3 stars. read more

Without a doubt I will be coming here for all of my auto care needs! I have "zero" knowledge of auto repair. I'm so confident when I use Scott and the rest of the crew for auto repair. They explain everything and trust me what they say is really great advice. Example: While I was in there twice for separate issues. They had calls about people that wanted to do it their way with either parts or a process for repairs and they ended up coming back and having Scott redo what they had messed up. Just listen to Scott. Ok...my story. My truck went down and Scott saw me right away. It turned out that the work that was done by another company was at fault. He didn't charge me for the hour they looked at my truck and I got the other company to fix the problem for free with his advice on ways to talk to them about warranty and other things. They are very military friendly! I strongly recommend this company (but try another auto repair place because I like how they can see me right away and the more positive reviews the more crowded they'll be)! The outside is sort of like a warehouse, but it's very clean on the inside and has the normal auto repair conveniences of TV, chairs, coffee and a restroom around the corner. I can't remember if there was WiFi. Oh and they'll talk to you about anything if you're really bored. This is a really good shop. read more
