This place is absolutely adorable. I didn't know what kind of sweets they served, so I took my grandson there saturday morning. Place gets a lot of traffic in there lol. Super clean super cute. Staff was very patient as we tried to decide what we wanted to eat. They have tables and couches and board games to be enjoyed by its customers. A huge variety of pies!! They also have a counter with a microwave plates and silverware in case you would like to warm up your pie. We got the whole chocolate pudding pie to take home. We got a slice of an apple pie and chocolate pudding pie to eat there. Both were delicious, but the chocolate pudding pie is my favorite, by far! I hope you go and check this place out! read more

If you're looking for tasty homemade pies, this is the place. Our first time here was on pi day (3-14) and at opening there was already a few people waiting which was a good sign. As they opened the doors they welcomed everyone in. The first thing I would point out is that they have different sizes of the pies from a slice, to a small(5"), to a whole pie. It was hard to decide but we got 1 ea of the Dutch apple, pecan, and chocolate silk 5" pies. All three were very tasty. Went to the new location of Sydney's sweet shoppe today. I hadn't been in since they relocated to the larger location. It's absolutely beautiful and they have full pies, half pies, mini pies, and pies by the slice. They also have brownies and ice cream and other sweet treats. They also have a full menu of coffee and tea drinks. The folks working were super friendly and explained what all the different flavors were. This would be a great spot to have an afternoon tea and treat with a friend sit on the cozy furniture and visit. The perfect place on the east side of Tucson to satisfy your sweet tooth. I just wish it wasn't so tempting after leaving the climbing gym that it's near haha. I got two half pies for pi day which qualified for their whole pi day discount. I love that you can get pie by the slice, whole pies, and half pies. It gives so much flexibility for people like me who can't decide on a flavor. The service was quick and attentive. The person that helped me gave to time to decide and offered me suggestions on what I was craving. The key lime pie was so good -- a great balance of tart and sweet. A sweet shop indeed! My sister & I stopped in for the first time and on pie day. The shop was cute and clean. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We purchased coffee, a slice of mixed berry pie, a mini cherry pie, a full apple crumble pie, and a mini banana pie. All the pies for then and later to share with our family. So happy that we bought as much as we did, the mixed berry slice had great lush berries. The cherry pie was perfect. The crust was just right. Sometimes, with baked goods, I find that there are hard over cooked parts or I'm not interested in eating the rest. But this pie was ATE. Every crumb. Another note, I noticed that most customers that came in seemed to be regulars. The community that surrounds this shop is in high support and with the quality of dessert it is telling. Listen I was excited to finally check out Sydney's Pie Shop, and I have to say it was a quaint and cute place! I was a little star struck too because the owner herself helped me out this afternoon. I think I was nervous haha! I feel like she is a celebrity because I follow her on her instagram page and she markets her products, her name and her business very well! It's my husband 60th birthday today. I usually make him a cherry pie, but now it's just me and him and well I don't love cherry pie so I bought him his own cute personal pie. I bought a chocolate pie for my son and a Dutch apple for my daughter for when we celebrate tonight after dinner. I will edit my review when they eat them later! I love everything I've tried from Sydney's! Originally tried her chocolate cream pie and banana cream pies as the dessert at a wedding I attended. Recently had a slice of the pecan and was so pleasantly surprised. So many pecan pies are sickly sweet and I can't finish, but Sydney's was the perfect balance and texture, with a light and delicious crust too without being too crumbly. read more

Sydney's is such a special treat, we've picked up pie a few times and always enjoy sharing with friends and family. The coconut cream and lemon meringue are both great, I really want to try a few more of their flavors. Be sure to go early to get the flavors you want because they do sell out! They're also stocking a few different flavors of their slices at the Scented Leaf Tea Shop now, it's nice to be able to pick up their pie in other parts of town. I went to this bakery to pick up some sweets for my friends. I ordered a Dutch Apple regular sized pie, a small cherry pie and a slice of chocolate cream pie. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions, however I didn't ask the prices when ordered. I just looked at the display and picked out the items. Checkout time total was $57+!!! The regular sized apple pie was $37. Outrageous. The little cherry pie (size of a coffee cup saucer)was $10 and the slice was $7. The filling of the apple pie was delicious but not worth $37. The crust was tough and I really prefer a flaky crust. The cherry pie crust was a tad better, but given the price, it all should have been outstanding! I can get a grocery store or Costco pie for $10 that has a better crust and tastes almost as good. I went there because I was in the area and picked it through a Dine Rewards program. I won't be back. Good luck on making a go of this place with those prices and just decent quality, not outstanding. This was a bakery with a few tables to sit at. It was clean. read more

I found this pie shop and it was 30 minutes away from me but let me tell you... IT WAS WORTH IT! When I got there, the shop was so fresh looking. Sydney was there and greeted me with a warm smile. She gave me suggestions and encouraged me to take my time. The shoppe is quiet but bright. It looks like they are getting ready to move to a bigger suite. I got a slice of key lime which was just the right about of tartness. A slice of coconut cream and man oh man, that was so creamy and the toasted coconut was so good. Sydney's pies were the best choice for our wedding desert! We decided to go with pie for our wedding instead of cake, and we are so glad we did! The process began with a private pie tasting, which was delicious and surprising, we ended up picking some flavors we weren't expecting. We chose a selection of 150 mini "party pies" in six flavors, and one full size pie to use for a "cake cutting" moment. Sydney's pies were delicious and the talk of the night and next day. We had hardly any pies leftover as people went for seconds and took some home as well. She even had options for our gluten-free and dairy-free guests. Everyone left happy, and especially us! We stopped in Saturday evening before closing and shared coconut cream pie, Texas sheet cake, the last whoppie cookie, and Sydney was nice enough to let us try a key lime slice too!! Everything was delicious. We took home half a pecan pie and let me tell you, we have had pie all over the west coast and east coast, this pecan pie was in the fridge and was still crunchy like texture like Toffee, it was perfectly sweet and the pie crust was perfect!! Sydney's shoppe is so cute, her and her dad did an amazing job setting this place up. And what's even better are her treats. I came in and ordered a carrot cake to try out for my wedding which is what you see in this picture. I ended up ordering my wedding cake very late, about 2 days before and Sydney still made sure to have it done for me on time and wow..... it was delicious and a huge hit! I have the left overs in my freezer extremely safe from freezer burn and on my 1 yr anniversary, we plan on eating it again for the memory. Thank you Sydney! You're amazing! read more

Since it was Easter and we went towards the end of their business day there were slim pickins from the counter but we were able to get a decent number of slices. We shared slices of pecan, coconut cream, and a mini cherry pie. Out of the three, the coconut was easily my favorite. The flavors were so creamy and rich with the flaky bottom crust. The cherry was a nice balance of tart and sweet with a beautiful latticework crust on top. The pecan pie was a little too sweet for me but did have a plentiful amount of pecans on top. Service seemed a bit stressed and rushed since they had to attend to other pick up custom orders but no biggie since we were getting our pies to go. If I were in the area I'd definitely come back to try more flavors. We decided to drive in from Picacho Peak to check out this pie shop. So worth the drive!! Everything was delicious. The pecan pie was really good and not too sweat.
