The cutest and classiest local bakery without being in the heart of downtown! I've wanted to try them since they opened, and the coffee drinks and pastries did not disappoint. We tried the almond croissant- very rich, and the best croissant we've tried in the US!; the rye chocolate chip cookie which was delicious; and the handpie (our favorite and a go-to here); and quiche- also very rich and hearty. All in all made a wonderful breakfast for a few of us to share, with delicious coffee and chai to go with.

July 20, 2025: Happy 1st Birthday / Anniversary to your bright and cute lil shop, Rosebud! Stopping for a coffee and something savory this morning. Jalapeño Cheddar quiche and mocha are deliciousness! Taking a Vietnamese latte to go and having to keep myself from chugging it. So good! There is a line at the door right at opening but fast and super friendly service has everyone smiling, not to mention these complimentary celebration strawberry cake pieces (Grandmother's recipe!), vegan cupcakes and granita! So refreshing on a warm summer morning.

Delightful bakery and coffee shop... been here several times and there has been nothing that I wouldn't order again ( the only reason I may not order it again is because they have a changing menu and I can't help but want to try it all! Their espresso drinks are delicious and they have a seasonal drink menu. They sell bread, offer a CSA and during the holidays offer stellar holiday menu options ( I've ordered quiche there a few times and everyone enjoys it). Not a lot of seating indoors or outdoors and parking can be a bit tricky... but all worth it. Not to mention the friendly service and the smell of coffee and baked goods create a cozy atmosphere.

its a cute, tiny space with street parking and odd ish hours in a dubious part of town. They charge about $5.00 a pastry and $7.00 ish for a slice of cake....my check came to about $27.00 with a fair tip. The last time i tried to go in July they were closed for summer break. As a business, it feels and delivers like a passion project. Today, when i got there at 1:30 pm, purchased the last cheddar scone on display, blueberry pastry, a plum almond cupcake looking thing and plum coffee cake. Ate the blueberry pastry, and tried to eat the cupcake. The pastry base and filling of the blueberry tart were tasty, but it was a problematic construction...when i bit into it, blueberries tumbled out of it, leaving half of them on the sidwalk outside of Home. Depot. The cupcake was wet.. not moist....wet...like it was uncooked dough. I threw it in the garbage. The cheddar scones are fire. Never going back.

Such a cute bakery! Staff were sweet, quality is amazing. Not much indoor seating. Pastries are not the same everyday, but you won't be disappointed with what's left. Had an opportunity to try something new, pictured, loved it!!

Literally the best croissant I've ever had!! It had Sonoran wheat and it was equal parts crispy, flaky and soft. The staff were wonderful and the location is cute and quaint.

Rosebud is a great addition to the neighborhood and I've been delighted with every visit. The breads and pastries are fantastic, and I love their homemade Jamaica. I was thrilled to see sourdough focaccia pizzas on the menu for Pi Day and was first in line to snag one. Delicious, as expected, so I hope they repeat the special next year. Service is always great, but get there early if you want the best selection of goods.

I love that they always have some fresh flowers in a little bud vase on each table inside!

I absolutely love Rosebud Bakery! They have such a variety of items that vary seasonally as well as by type of baked good -- muffins, scones, breads, pie. The service I've received has always been great no matter who is working at the counter. I'm one of those people who asks a lot of questions about what is in things, and I've only ever been met with kindness and willingness to share those with me, which is not always the case. There is seating inside as well as outside, and since I like to linger in a place that's a big plus for me. My only struggle is having to decide which baked good I want, which I usually give up on and just end up getting an entire box full of one of everything I'm considering.

Run, don't walk before this place becomes so busy they are selling out. I'm not even sure where to start because I wasn't sure when to stop ordering since the options looked more tantalizing from one to the next. Trust me, I wanted more. Chai Morning Bun; I love me a morning bun because it is the best of a croissant and a cinnamon roll. The crunch factor and buttery goodness was strong and the tender center melts in your mouth. The perfect amount of chai flavor coming through the sugared exterior. A must have! Ham and Cheese Croissant; The lamination of their croissants is unbelievable. Perfectly crunchy buttery layers that fall all over if you're not paying attention. The perfect ratio of hame and cheese with a beautiful kick from stone ground mustard. A huge hit at our breakfast. The Sourdough Focaccia is lofty with a nice spring back. The sourdough flavor is solid, but the chimichurri through this focaccia over the top. If I read the menu correctly, this is only available on Sunday. There were other flavors but am glad I chose this one. My daughter ate the rye brownie but I have not received feedback from her yet. It was thick and fudgey. The remaining items were delicious and did not last long at home, but the above items were stand outs. They reminded me of a high end bake shop with a casual local vibe. There is also a patio on the side of the building that is usable during summer morning hours. Now I'm looking for a reason to drive back to 5 Points.

I love coming here. The pastries are so delicious, especially the cinnamons that are only served on Sundays. The vanilla latte is my favorite here because it's a pretty big size and tastes amazing. I also love the cute vibes, the tables and chairs outdoors and the natural lighting inside the cafe. The customer service is great. The cashiers and the owners are super sweet and friendly.

High-end coffee and pastries with a light casual vibe. Everything was delicious - we had to go back and get a second piece of quiche!

    Pecan and Apple Coffee Cake.

Raspberry and Cream Maritozzi and the Apple Pecan Coffee Cake are delicious! My husband surprised me with these delicious treats today! I'd love to go back and try their sourdough bread and quiches.

Amazing food and coffee drinks along with a chill vibe. Was pretty busy when I arrived but the staff made sure everyone was taken care of.

Their sourdough olive bread is whole grain.

I'm so happy to have found this place ! You order at the counter and there is plenty of seating. I ordered the tri-color Vietnamese dessert called Chè Ba Mau, which translates literally to tri-color dessert. Chè is a traditional category of Vietnamese desserts that can range from sweet soups to puddings, and it often combines various beans, jellies, and fruits with coconut milk and shaved ice, traditionally. This particular one here consists of coconut milk, pandan agar jelly, red beans, and water chestnut coated in tapioca. The hubby ordered the grass jelly and coconut milk dessert. The grass jelly has a mild herbal depth and it is balanced beautifully by the smooth, lightly sweet coconut milk. Both are equally refreshing and sweet, with quality ingredients that really make it satisfying on a hot Tucson day. I absolutely will be returning here for future Vietnamese desserts!!

All 4 of us have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and appreciate the stresses. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

The line was the usual long line and with my dog, was much better as people talk and pet dogs in line and it went fairly fast. The line was in shade with the nearby tree so it made it that much better. The ambiance is the misters around that are welcomed by all, the pretty tree and greenery and fencing and signage they have used to decorate this small outdoor place so well. The shaded and covered tables outside had various chairs and enough space for people to rotate in and out- esp with our dogs that love the cool brick to lie on:) Now, the absolute best part is the food- still amazingly worth waiting for and delicious!! I got the burrito( basic has potato, egg, beans , cheese) and the protein I added was bacon and extra was guac. Also got the 16oz Dirty Chai. My friend came for first time and was surprised to open her order and find two burritos- I knew and wanted to see her face- she loved the taste and the fact she had lunch or dinner later as one truly is so full of deliciousness- it fills you up! We each had one we took home ! This place- just a treat for anyone wanting fantastic and pure local service and food! Highly recommend!!!

The workers were helpful but did not wish to be included in the review. The company promotes they are community owned. As I understand this they are incorporated and selling shares to the public. On a different scale Tesla is community owned because it sells shares to the world. Cartel sold the shares through crowdfunding rather than traditional IPO so you won't find it on NYSE and it would be less liquid in my opinion. This makes it more "community " I suppose. I'll pass on "ownership" but I think this is a good place to grab a coffee.
