When she first started coming she was a little anxious to leave me and would bark when they would put her name tag on and they were always really kind about bringing her around the check in table to put her tag on so she was less stressed. Over the next several weeks she gradually grew more comfortable with them and now has no problem with them at check in. I really appreciated them taking her at her speed and being patient. Its great getting the daily picture and being able to check in on the wag camera too.

We ended up booking walks for our dogs to meet with the different sitters they may encounter during our vacation. Each walker/sitter we met was equally friendly and our three German shepherds had no issue with either one of them. We received reports after each visit, which we appreciated. What I do appreciate most about Lucky Buddy Petcare is that we're not dependent on one person's schedule while planning. The booking process is super easy through their website. Jake loved his walks and especially enjoyed his time with Janet and Kathleen when they stayed with him when I went on my first trip in years because I would not board him. I told my friends I thought he was two-timing me because he was so happy and relaxed when I arrived home. I also had a dog walker come every day at Janet's suggestion while I was away and I truly appreciate the time and care these young women gave to Jake during that time and his regular walks. Sadly, Jake is no longer with me. He was only six years old but he had a medical condition that was lurking, unknown and undiagnosed until it suddenly appeared shattering my world. My first call was to my friend, a retired vet, who told me the likely diagnoses. My second call was to Janet who told me where the best ER animal hospital was located and provided additional emotional support. I've been using her service for a couple of years now and in the beginning there were discussions around expectations and such. I had unique requirements due to one dog being diabetic and requiring insulin injections every 12 hours. Once we got that discussed and resolved, we never had an issue. Aicha is super attentive, goes above and beyond for you. My old man with the diabetes needed help getting outside and in, and the steps were too steep for him so she would help him get up and down without hurting himself. He was a 15 year old lab. She showed so much compassion for him. He started having accidents in the house because he was alone and struggled to get up. Aicha offered to spend the night to make sure he was ok. My guy passed away in August. I hadn't needed her services for a little while because I hadn't been traveling. She reached out on her own to see how we were doing. I let her know that my guy passed away. She had so much empathy because she knew how much he meant to me. She loved him too. I have a second pup that she takes care of too. She's a little dog. Now that she's alone and no longer has her big brother, she gets lonely when I leave. I recently took a business trip and Aicha offered to stay with her so she wasn't alone the whole time. That is such a sweet gesture although we didn't take her up on in. Instead, she stayed longer than her usual visit just to keep her company. I appreciate her so much and highly recommend her. I was told that this would not be a problem because they do not require puppies to have a rabies shot for grooming. When someone called later to confirm my appointment, I asked again to make sure. I clearly stated that this was my puppy's first grooming appointment and that he still had not received his rabies vaccine. Once again, I was assured that it was not an issue. However, when I arrived for the appointment, I was turned away because my puppy didn't have a rabies vaccination. This was incredibly frustrating because I had already made special arrangements at work, took my lunch break later than usual, and coordinated with my daughter to pick up the puppy after his appointment. If this is your policy, that's completely understandable--but I should have been told that from the beginning, especially after asking twice. Instead, I wasted my time, rearranged my day, and left feeling very disappointed. Better communication and consistency with customers would have prevented this entire situation.
