This guy is a total rip off...I brought in a pair of heels just to replace the tap on the heal and tells me it will $15 cash ONLY! and 3 weeks till they are ready. Way too much money for just a tap and very long wait too! I pick up my shoes and didn't notice at the time that the sole of the shoe now was unattached! I take it back and gives me a story about it being the manufacturing of the shoe and wants to charge me $20 to fix it! Don't go here unless you want bad work and to pay a lot of money! I brought in my backpack to see if he could fix my zipper and I hand him my backpack, he inspected it and grabbed a tool, then proceeded to fix it right in front of me (which took a few seconds). He handed it back and said there ya go, he didnt charge me a dime. My mom also brought a purse in to have some holes punched on her strap and it was the same thing, fixed in seconds and free of charge. Omg! I brought in a pair of Clark's boots that I was about to throw away because I had worn the heel down through the rubber, and even some of the white plastic was ground down. The leather on the heel was ripped. I didn't even know if anything could be done. For only $20, this place built up the heel, matched the ripped leather, added a heel sole and gave my boots a polish. $20!! Now the boots will last for so many more years. I highly recommend. this is the best shoe repair in tacoma! i brought in some cowboy boots that i got at goodwill and syd replaced the soles for 40$ in 24 hours. even polishing the leather and adding a price where the shoe was coming apart. he had a nice piece of plastic up between the customer and his workshop as well. will definitely be bringing any other repairs i need in! read more
