We moved in only 4 months ago. When we toured the place i specifically asked how the noise levels are from surrounding neighbors. The lady giving the tour clearly lied because you can hear every little thing. A month after we moved in, we got an email saying our neighbor below us had complained about hard footsteps, and letting the door slamm. So we made a big effort to minimize any noise, even how we walked... shortly after our neighbors above us were making unnecessarily loud noises all into the night and sometimes waking us up at 1:30am. We tried speaking with them once. Didnt help. We sent multiple emails to the office. They asked us to record this, much like others are saying here...which i did many times, the office said they would email them, but nothing changed. They would continue to play their tv so loud it would rumble our apartment below, scoot in chairs making an awful noice, making loud thuding noises. It seemed they just flat out didnt care... oh also i heard a very disturbing fight between them that made me want to call the police. Finally, I personally went up there to ask them to turn it down since it was 11:30pm. She gave me attitude and denied they ever got an email from the office. I wouldnt be surprised if that were true. I can also clearly hear the neighbor on the other side of our room snoring... all into all this place does not feel private. You can hear everything and everyone can hear you. Also, yes the people here are very trashy... Also, the office clearly does not seem to have their sh*t straight because, when rent was due, we were out of town and didnt realize that for some odd reason the payment didnt go through. When we got back they left a very stressful note on our door demanding we jump through all these hoops to get the payment to them. Mind you we have never mist a payment, ever! So we asked if we could just try the payment again through the Bilt app they make you use... its not so easy to navigate even sending payment, super inconvenient. The menager said that wouldnt work for various reasons so we had to go to the bank and get a casheirs check. We did that and they took payment, then we noticed that after we tried again through the app before all this, thinking it wouldnt work because manager said it wouldnt...come to find out they charged us twice... clearly not even the manager here knows what he's doing and they have not reached out to rectify this... Also making it difficult, on maps it shows they are open at 9am so we went there to discuss issue, nope they open at 10. Also their phone number on maps is suspended... odd. Management is aweful, it is poorly run, we feel we are paying to battle, when we should feel more supported. Highly recommend not to live here! Our experience at Sygnii Apartments was an absolute disaster, and I urge anyone considering moving here to think twice. The complex is advertised as a "luxury" apartment building, but the reality is far from it. From security issues to unhelpful management, this place is an overpriced mess. One of the most alarming incidents was when my car was broken into right in the apartment lot. When I reported this to management, their response was a nonchalant, "Crime happens everywhere." Not only was this completely dismissive, but it also showed zero regard for the safety and well-being of their tenants. They offered no solutions or suggestions on how to prevent this from happening again, leaving me to feel as though I was on my own in a supposedly "secure" living environment. But the problems didn't end there. Shortly after, we began getting harassed by strangers who showed up at our apartment looking for the previous tenant. These people left notes taped to our door and even took pictures of our apartment. This was obviously alarming, and we immediately reported it to the management team. Once again, their response was, "It's out of our hands. You should file a police report." As if that wasn't bad enough, when we did file a police report, the police informed us that they couldn't do anything unless we were directly threatened. So, we were essentially left in a terrifying situation where strangers were coming to our door, and neither management nor law enforcement could do anything about it. At this point, feeling completely unsafe in our own home, we asked Sygnii's management to escalate the issue to their corporate office so we could be released from our lease early. We had only two months left on the lease, but we were no longer willing to compromise our safety. The response from management? Silence. We waited 14 days for any sort of acknowledgment despite following up repeatedly, and it wasn't until we threatened to take legal action that they finally got back to us. Their "solution" was to offer us a move to a new unit within the same building - a solution that made absolutely no sense. Why would we go through the hassle of moving into a new unit for just two months, incurring all the time, effort, and cost, when the underlying safety concerns hadn't even been addressed? At this point, we realized management was not going to be helpful, so we took matters into our own hands. We found a new apartment and moved out before our lease at Sygnii even expired because we could no longer tolerate the unsafe environment and the incompetent management. Our lease finally ended on September 22nd, but as of today, October 22nd, we still haven't received our security deposit refund. It's been 30 days, and there has minimal communication or acknowledgment from Sygnii regarding the return of our deposit, and zero apology. The lack of professionalism is staggering. To anyone considering living at Sygnii Apartments, please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This place is not worth the premium price tag. The management is incompetent, dismissive, and entirely unhelpful when serious issues arise. From car break-ins to safety concerns to a complete disregard for tenant well-being, this is the farthest thing from a "luxury" living experience. Finally ended my lease early at Sygnii. I highly advise against anyone living there. You pay a ton for rent, and you don't get much else outside of a place to live. Management apparently has their hands tied when it comes to enforcing any rules. The grounds around the area are disgusting because nobody is apparently capable of throwing their trash into a dumpster or picking up after their dogs. Management expects YOU to be the one policing the area and give them the evidence. However when you do make a complaint, and provide proof of countless examples, they just stop replying to your emails. Which is when I decided it'd be best to just break my lease. I will say the maintenance crew (as in most apartments) are awesome. Always responding in a quick manner and very friendly. TL:DR - Residents are trashy and inconsiderate, while management are pushovers and lazy. Live elsewhere! read more

You don't want to live here in the ghetto of Tigard. The management doesn't care about the issues you report. It falls on deaf ears. Rule-abiding tenants that report issues are ignored and the rule breakers get away with it. There's not enough parking spaces for the 240 units here. We have to park down the street outside the complex, which is unsafe at night. The road noise from Scholls Ferry Rd. is intense and loud. The pool area is not well maintained, broken hot tub, and the trash bins are not emptied regularly, which has terrible odors that reach our apartment. The rent here is excessively high ($2200/mo, 2 bedroom, 1 bath) and increases $100-$200 a month on lease renewal. The utility bills (water, trash, sewer) go up every month for no reason, even in the winter. They overcharge and bill unfairly not based on actual usage per unit. read more

By far the worst apartment I have lived in. If you are considering moving here do not make the same mistake I did. I have only been living here for a couple of months and I can't wait to move out. If it weren't for the high early termination fee (which I am so close to just dealing with the loss and finding a new place to live) I would have already moved out. At the previous apartment that I lived in I was located on the first floor and I had lived there for three years with no problems. For the price I am paying to live here, I had higher expectations for this place. Upon moving into my unit the place looked quite disgusting. I doubt they even had someone come clean the apartment after the last tenant lived here. They also left a huge piece of gum stuck to the back patio. The floors and ceilings are thin. You can literally hear everything your neighbors do. Check to make sure no kids live above your unit. I have been tortured by the upstairs neighbors with their children constantly running back and forth as well as constantly stomping around. This noise starts early in the morning pretty much every day and doesn't stop until the evening. The downstairs neighbors started slamming doors repeatedly late at night until after midnight sometimes. They also started blasting music past 10 pm. So I have not been sleeping much. I have tried talking to management and given them multiple videos to prove how loud the upstairs neighbors are but they completely ignore me. I have hours of footage and audio from different times of the day to back up my complaints too. The parking sucks. There are barely enough parking spots and people here are terrible at parking. There are big vehicles constantly parking in compact places. Many people park over the line making it even harder to park your own vehicle. The other residents have zero respect for your car. They will slam their door into your car. I have had multiple marks on my car since living here. I noticed that there was a charge on my rent for a carport for the first month of living here. I did not ask to rent a car portal nor was it in my lease agreement that I wanted one. I searched to see if maybe I missed it somewhere but I found nothing. I had no idea where this car portal even was. They still charged me for it even though it was their fault for having a mix-up on their end and then charged me a little more the next month. Living here has affected my mental health quite severely. My quality of life is declining and I don't see a point in staying here. I have to wear noise-canceling headphones daily so I don't have to listen to the noisy and disrespectful neighbors. It is annoying that I have to wear headphones all the time as it starts to hurt my ears. It has also caused me to isolate myself from my partner which isn't fair but the constant noise from upstairs is triggering and distracting. Management at Sygnii is completely incompetent and has no sympathy towards their residents. Last year when I was moving into the building, they were extremely slow at providing a lease for signature. This ended up delaying my move by 2 weeks. A month after I moved in, the breaker to the refrigerator started tripping causing the fridge to turn off multiple times a day. It took them more than one month to get an electrician out to address the issue. The kicker is that it was a 10 minutes fix. To echo the other reviews, people do not pick up after their dogs here. Some folks don't even leash their dogs at night. Also, there's always trucks and large SUVs double-parking in compact spots. In the last 3 weeks, I've been experiencing disturbances from my new upstairs neighbors. They make excessive noise after 10pm until 2am most nights, smoke in the building, dump trash over their balcony. I have tried talking to them and asking them to stop. Thing didn't improve, so I've escalated to management with multiple emails including video recordings and photos. Management have yet to respond to any of my emails. I have tried to come by the leasing office in hopes of talking to a real person about the noise issue and were basically told to sit tight. I think it's fair as these things take time, but the lack of empathy and plan for intermediate actions from Sygnii management is just sad. I have lived here for a little over 4 months, and it is the worst renting experience I have ever had by a very long shot. If one succinctly described Sygnii as an overly expensive and poorly managed college dorm that would be an understatement. I have been harassed over trivial matters and have had people banging on my door/ringing my door bell at 4am. Management comes across as lazy and nonchalant in investigating resident conflicts, devastatingly ill-informed on the subject of conflict resolution, and lack the ability or acuity to perform any sort of logical deduction. I was tempted to give an exposition on basic modus ponens here, but I digress. After my first 5 days at Sygnii, during which I was in my apartment for a total of 1.5 days, I got a noise complaint. My neighbors downstairs seem to suffer from hyper-hearing which is triggered by anything I do. The "noise violations" included: loud footsteps, loud cabinet doors, banging doors, etc. Even a half-wit who is familiar with the concept of contrast would know that going from having no one to having someone living above you would entail certain changes, but that's neither here nor there. After getting harassed by a representative from the apartment, while cleaning my car, about loud footsteps at 5am in the morning (when I walked from my couch to my bedroom), I got fed up and decided to leave my number at the office in an effort to be a good resident. I asked them to have my neighbor text me whenever there was "excessive" noise so I can try to quiet down (or play dead, but again I digress). I got all but two indiscriminate text messages ordering me to quiet down: one while cleaning my apartment and the other while watching Netflix. Finally, the straw that broke the camel's back. The other night I fell asleep watching Netflix, and I was woken up by loud banging on my door and incessant ringing of my door bell. No one identified themselves and all I heard was yelling and continuous loud bangs. As a person of color, I know better than to open the door in situations like this. Fast forward to two days later, I get a notice from management threatening to evict me if my "behavior" continues and post the eviction on my record. Very very laughable. No investigation was conducted. I wasn't even called to get an explanation and my side of the story. It was essentially my neighbors word (albeit very questionable), and management acted like jury, judge, and executioner. Echoes of, dare I say, "just blame the big, bad, black man". Just for perspective: I live alone, work over 50 hours a week, and workout most days after work. So my apartment is basically empty 80% of the time. I padded all my doors so that they don't close loudly and basically tiptoe around my apartment all the time for fear of angering Big Brother. I essentially live in extreme fear and anxiety. Now, I think I have to return my subwoofer and respect my Netflix/TV curfew which starts at 10pm. What will be next? Maybe my blender or loud showers? In conclusion, decent apartments, horrible management, and despicable neighbors. I am counting down anxiously for my lease to be over or when Big Brother evicts me for breathing too hard. This is the most modern apartment I've come across at a suitable price for the value! The staff is friendly, laundry machines are full size, there's AC, the fridge/freezer are larger than standard, and the closet shelving is the best I've seen, making full use of vertical space and even having shelving in the back, not just the sides. The floor plan is very open with a wide kitchen bar counter, making it easier to get as much use out of the space as possible. (A tip from Nick, one of the staff - this means you technically can use counter-height stools and forgo a dining table if you want to use the space for something else!) Since this is a new complex, the insulation is better than most and construction noise is reasonably muffled - new construction also means plenty of electrical outlets, including some with built-in USB ports. Noise levels from upstairs are pretty standard - you can hear footsteps, and it's still an apartment. Also, have I mentioned each unit has A/C? And that it actually works decently? I've looked and it's hard to find apartments with built-in AC and as many updated/modern features. They wanted to be 'ahead of the curve' and I think they've nailed it. I promise I'm not being paid to say that. Internet includes fiberoptic WaveG as an option, which is awesome because it means 1) not having to go with Comcast 2) good customer service 3) fast speeds from a provider that normally is only available in downtown highrises. The gym has good standard equipment and is well lit with plenty of windows. The pool isn't open yet but has plenty of nice seating around the area for a good social space. Parking is nice and flat and is not currently an issue; carports and garages offered though it feels like they will probably get snatched up quickly as more people move in. The parking lots are well lit at night. Mail occasionally is still getting sorted out as some places don't recognize this address yet. Package lockers are said to be coming soon, which would add to the already impressive list of modern features that make me want to stay here for a long time. read more

Do not live here. Yes, the apartments themselves are nice, but everything else here is just a mess. They never have enough staffing, so the office is always closed, good luck at ever getting somebody on the phone if you need it, and don't even think about using the amenities, they literally use a bike lock to lock the doors when they are not there, so you can't use any of the amenities, can't get coffee, and they won't even tell you why. If somebody did something they weren't supposed to, then put up cameras, or find those tenants, don't punish everybody, because you don't know how to run an office. And tenants smoke, we always smell smoke in and around our apartment, and nobody ever does anything about it. To say, this place is not ran while is an understatement, instead of focusing on who has a parking pass, why don't you focus on the larger problems and get your office back up and running so tenants can use amenities that they are paying for and you actually answer the phone when people call. read more

I lived here for almost 3 years and hated every minute of it. The new office staff under the new management are AWFUL and don't seem to care about their tenants or know what they are doing. New management took over about a year ago which is why all the recent reviews are negative. Nobody picks up their dog poop so my 2 year old son was constantly stepping in it. Maintenace requests can go weeks unanswered. When I sent a message through the Sygnii App for an update on my maintenance request I was told to not email that email address as that person no longer worked here... as if I created the app myself and linked that persons account? Bizarre. The toilets overflow. Mine overflowed and so did a toilet in the building next to ours which ended up leaking into the apartment below causing the tenant to move out. This place sucks and they sure let you know they could care less about you. I recommend looking elsewhere. Save yourself the headache! read more

Initially when we moved in the management was fantastic! However, a new management team arrived late in last year and has made our experience extremely miserable. They fail over and over again to respond to our call, emails, and followups meetings anytime we have a question. When they need something from you then they feel its worth their time to to call you. The management makes excuses about why they don't have an answer or why nobody returned our questions. Worst of are the prices. yes the buildings are very nice because they are new, however, they are charging hundreds of dollars more than the overall experience is worth. They recently contracted a towing company for "bad parking". Rumor here has it that bad parking could be something as petty as reversing into a spot. They also have deemed select porch decorations as an eye sore if your unit is on the route they tour potential residents on and required only some people to remove theirs while ignoring others. The management company only cares about making money and spending the least amount possible which makes for a horrible experience. Did I mention there's a shattered window in the club house gym that was broken 6 months ago and still hasn't been replaced. read more

Incredibly expensive. Currently paying $1,650 for a 1 bdrm apartment, which I signed up for because my office is within a mile of this location. Unfortunately their amenities are average, and the perks are scarce, especially after a different company bought them half a year ago and the staff changed. Example: Their big perk has been a community rewards program where if you sign up through email you have a CHANCE to win a $5 incentive. $5, Really? I just find that more offensive than anything. In addition, the management requires no type of parking tag or pass to park in any of the spots not under cover, which makes up 80% of the lot. Recently a vehicle with a faulty alarm has been going off every 30 minutes throughout the day, day after day. The staff states this vehicle is not registered with a lease owner so they can't do anything about it. That's exactly why they need a parking system to create at least some accountability. Price not worth the lack of amenities, perks and slow service. Rent elsewhere. read more

I can't imagine finding a better place to live. The apartments are phenomenal and absolutely gorgeous. The pool is literally my favorite place to hang - and work - and play. The clubhouse is incredible and available to rent for private parties. The on-site gym saves me a ton of money and I'm pretty sure that even though I don't go, having one 100 feet from my house has definitely made me skinnier and way healthier. And as if all of that weren't enough, none of those reasons are the #1 reason I love this place as much as I do. My very favorite part of living here is hands down the people. They are incredible. Really, really incredible. The staff in the leasing office go above and beyond for their residents. Lizzy is the adorable and bubbly little gem that leased me my place but I adore every single one of them. Brittany, Patricia, Nick - they are all unparalleled in their service and their willingness to make sure their residents are completely taken care of. If I could recommend these apartments a hundred times over, I would. It's that good. And in my humble opinion, if you go anywhere else to lease an apartment, you're out of your mind. XO read more

Wonderful place to live! I've been a homeowner for many years and this is the first apartment I've rented in a long time, so I was nervous about typical apartment issues: bad management, loud neighbors, parking issues, etc. None of that has been an issue at Sygnii. The staff are great and respond to any issues or questions immediately, the apartment is brand new, modern, luxurious and comfortable. They're also one of the few complexes with air conditioning! Just an amazing place to live! The staff are not only very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous, but when there is something that needs doing... consider it done. They all know residents by first name to include pets and kids. The grounds are kept up daily, the place is clean and well maintained by anyone's standards. If a problem arises, the contact system works. Email, phone, etc. and the issue is resolved immediately. On site management and maintenance 24/7 if ever needed. Location is right for access to any direction for my business needs. North, South, East or West, whichever way my calls take me, the route begins and ends here. Not going anywhere else. Worst experience I have ever had with any apartment. I lived here for two years and the first in my entire building. I was told that since I was the first to move in that my rent would not increase but that was a huge lie. After it was sold to pinnacle everything went to shh*t. Management couldn't be any more difficult to deal with and rude with a touch of racism. The units themselves are really nice and the amenities are nice. But it doesn't mean anything if you are being ripped off and constantly lied to about maintenance repairs. I waited 8month for a new sink that I never got repaired until the day I moved out and was billed for it. So if you expect to have repairs done make sure to have your cash app ready... no joke. I also had my laundry closet doors broke that maintenance decided could fix with MY OWN super glue.. I would highly recommend choosing another place to call home unless you enjoy being disrespected and cheated out of your money. I was also denied my right to a walk through for the apartment. Marissa the manager denied me my walk through and another lady with her idk her name. Anytime I had visitors with me in the club house I was harassed by maintenance guy as well as my guests. I have video evidence of marissa cussing me oUt of the club house after denying me my walk through. They laughed in my face and told me to F off and go find a new home.. THEY ALSO STOLE MY WHOLE DEPOSIT OF 1100$ AND EXPECT ME TO PAY 500$ MORE. They will be seeing me in civil court. Please save yourself the headache and don't bother with this apartment. They will reel you in with fake kindness and then treat you like a trespasser afterwards. Worst experience ever !!!! read more
