I have a very old lock on my front door. It has an extra large throw which are hard to find these days. Long and short of it I was charged $68 dollars for them to add a closet door handle to my lock (note I installed not him). Additionally he told me $85 but had put a string price tag on my lock of $68 so he didn't get a chance to burn me for more. I wanted to walk but I was desperate for a handle that would fit and it was the day before Thanksgiving and I had guests coming over. I guess they are okay to make a key for you or change your watch battery which I had him do, but other than that I would skip this place. read more

When I originally called to replace the car keys I had lost, they quoted me $215 for a key with remote for alarm ($190+ $25 service fee). No issue as I understand it was an emergency. It took a "Professional technician" 4 hours to arrive and provide a key replacement for my car and when I called to cancel, they threatened me with a cancelation fee. Once he was finished copying my key he gave me a single key with no remote and charged me $250. $35 more for "labor cost". Don't be scammed and save yourself by calling AAA. Zero stars read more

I came here a couple times. The first time I went a few months back, there was a lady (who is the owner's wife) she said that I had to wait 45 min for her husband. I wanted to fix my car key. So I told her I would come back later (although it's during business hours and they should be available). When I came back the owner was there, he changed the battery and said I'm good to go. I paid $25 for a battery change for my honda key, which was fine. The thing is a couple days later my key stopped working again. I went back the first time they were closed (again, during business hours). The second time it was open, the guy remembered me, he looked bothered that I wanted him to put a new one. By the way, it didn't work either but I didn't bother to come back. His attitude was very far from friendly or welcoming. I went back today to buy a garage door remote. He showed me a couple options, I told him that I've seen the same ones for $20 cheaper and was wondering why the difference. He simply said that I should go buy it elsewhere. This is not the way to talk to customers especially that it was a simple question for clarification. Then I asked if he can program it, he said no, and that I should read the instructions from the manual. The person that referred me to him told me that he programmed it for them. I'm not coming back. I've been here several times...not by choice though. A unit I own is right behind this little shop that's hidden between the Von's and chase buildings and is "recommended" by my HOA. Ya right! This place is a joke. The first 3 times I've walked in here the guy was rude and a bit obnoxious...but this time I wanted to go buy a garage door remote from them it was just plain hideous. First I call to see if they have the garage door opener I want in stock and to see what time they close. I was told to call back in 10 minutes because he didn't know the price or the stock availability of his own store, After I called back I made sure they have the remote in stock and I made sure that they would be open for me to drive out to them. I specifically ask if they'll be available in 45 because that's how long my drive would be to get there and The gentleman said yes we are here until six and I will be here in 45 and minutes. I obviously show up disappointed because the doors locked and there's a sign on there saying that they will return at 5:30, 30 minutes before they close. I tried calling and a gentleman picked up saying that there should be someone there now and then later admitted that they will show up at 5 o'clock.why would you own a retail store and advertise business hours when your doors are locked? I just don't understand irresponsible business owners. He hung up on me and didn't pick up my calls. Now I will be going down the street to Home Depot to buy the remote for probably a cheaper price than what they quoted. Bad service, I left work early to go meet him at my house to fix a key issue he wasn't there I called him and said he forgot he'd be there after 5. In the morning same day he said it would be $180 to fix it, I agreed although I thought it was very high, Got here at 5:15, inspected vehicle told me what I had already told him was wrong with it (steering column needed to be repaired where key cylinder sits because it does not turn forward) did not fix it instead said to just replace the whole thing and take it to a mechanic.
