My son is currently attending Sylvan and in the 9th grade. he is enjoying the program and has learned so much that he is passing all his regular classes at this time. Before he start attending Sylvan my son was falling the majority of his classes. he has been attending since September and his grades has improve tremendously. I love all the hard work and effort they have shown toward my son learning. when I went to visit the center I was so impress with the instructor who was so knowledgeable, kind and concern about trying to get my son the help he so desperately needed. Her pleasing attitude blew me away due to the past bad experiences I had endured by other educational establishment I had visit in the past. The dedication and patience provided by Sylvan makes me realize how luck I were to have found a place like that. you will never find a learning institution like this anywhere else. I'd highly recommend Sylvan ,you're guaranteed to receive the type of care you would give your child. The teachers has taught my son so much since he has been there and he really enjoys attending. My daughter struggles in Math, but she was struggling even more so over the past couple of years. We hired a private tutor the middle of last year but she was not showing much progress. Several friends suggested we check into Sylvan, including her tutor, who used Sylvan with her own daughter who is now in her 20's and a teacher! We gave it a shot and were very impressed at the level of professionalism, and warmth with which we were met as soon as we entered the center. My daughter was tested, and an individualized plan was put into place. A plan based on her sole needs! We also implemented the homework help plan which has been HUGE in not only increasing her grades but in her confidence! Her Math grade at school has gone from a C to almost an A!! We could not be happier with the progress she has made since she has been at Sylvan. I am so impressed with Sylvan Learning Center!!!! My nephew is in first grade and had been struggling in class so we decided to put him in Sylvan. He started there close to the end of December 2015 and we had our meeting close to the end of January and his score jumped 300 points of improvement from when he was tested. When I heard that I was speechless I couldn't believe it. At home I had been noticing some changes in his attitude and especially with his homework. He is reading better and understanding what he is reading and he also able to do his math with no help(major plus), and the most greatest thing he wasn't able to write sentences and now he can. I think Sylvan is a GREAT PROGRAM for kids because they give them the tools and confident that the kids need to do better in school. So THANK YOU VERY MUCH SYLVAN!!! read more

I am currently a senior in high school who has always struggled in math. With all of my ACT's and SAT's coming up I decided it would be best to get tutoring. This program has helped me a great deal in math! The staff is incredibly kind and patient! It's amazing how you get one on one time with a teacher because in most people's case, it's difficult to learn in a big classroom. My son started Sylvan in February 2017 because he was falling behind in his reading. He had lost confidence in himself and was giving up overall. A few weeks into the program , he advanced up a reading level at school and I saw his confidence began to come around again. I'm so glad I found Sylvan. This place is amazing. My 7 year old loves it and so do I. The staff is great everyone is always smiling and very helpful. My daughter started Sylvan a few weeks ago for math. She is starting her senior year and had scored lower in math on her ACT/SAT so we wanted to help her. She has been coming home and telling us how she is actually learning material she missed in previous grades. She really likes the teachers and the center staff.
