I'm sure all the photographers at North Shore Photography are fabulous, but if you want Anna be sure to book way ahead and there's also an extra fee to reserve her. Throughout the planning process I knew I chose right because Anna and her office were wonderful to work with. They were super accommodating working around the synagogues schedule. We first met up with Anna last July to do a photo shoot outside at Ravinia Festival, which was where we were hosting the party. It was the most gorgeous summer day, although pretty hot. Anna worked fast in the heat to get amazing photos of my daughter and overall it was super chill and just fun. We spent a lot of time with Anna the weekend of the bat mitzvah and pretty much every member of my family remarked how much they liked her. She was super organized, got thru all the family pics so fast and just very easy to be around. She clearly does this a lot- actually i believe our synagogue photos were her 3rd shoot just that day! Anna and her assistant did a wonderful job capturing it all the night of the party. We did another round of quick family photos and then they got everything in the moment. I wasn't expecting to see pics for at least a few weeks, but had them 5 days later...and they were just perfect. She got some great family pics, shots of my daughter having the time of her life and even photos of all the little details that we created to make event extra special. I've already signed the contract to have Anna photograph my son's bar mitzvah and look forward to seeing her again!

Her work is very airy and minimally processed. I contacted her about three months before my baby was born to make sure that we had an appointment available (she only takes five newborn shoots per month). Reda was prompt and continued to communicate with me even after my baby was born a week after his due date. Her studio is in her home; it is clean, comfortable, and you can park right outside her house. There are so many windows that allow for natural light to come in (which helps with their airy feelings of her finished photos). Her studio is kept at a warm temperature (perfect for the baby). You can pay via cash, Venmo, or quick-pay. A couple of weeks before my baby's birth, we spoke about my ideas/vision, and when we met for the shoot, she had those items ready. However, if you changed your mind, she has an extensive collection of wraps, backgrounds, and accessories. She is also the baby whisperer; whenever the baby would begin to whimper/cry, she knew what to do so that the baby would stop crying and be ready to take pictures. Reda gave us four finished images the day after the shoot and the finished gallery about three weeks later. I would highly recommend Juodis Photography for newborn photography because her studio is clean, her finished images are gorgeous, and her personality is perfect for new parents and babies. She responded quickly (which was a blessing, considering that I asked her about a newborn photoshoot when my newborn was already 2 weeks old - dumb move on my part!)
