There is finally a bar for people like me! If you are on medication that does not allow you to drink alcohol or you are simply avoiding it for personal reasons, this is the bar for you. I was looking with a bar that offered non alcoholic drinks and found this gem! I tried kratom for the first time and it was pretty good. The bar tender asked if this was our first time and made some recommendations. I ordered the green house tea and the bartender recommended something a little lighter for the first time so I think I went with the white option. This was described as the perfect substitute for beer and it truly was! it had an earthy flavor I really enjoyed. Since we got there pretty early, the back area or kitchen were not open yet but we were able to seat in one of the tables they have at the entrance, next to the bar. When I first came it wasn't too impressed with the ambience or decoration but once I saw the main/back area the vibe changed and felt pretty cool. Drinks are average in potency, and the clientele are douchey influencer types who think they've found some secret magical high that's new and secret (kratom is a bootleg opioid and you will get addicted and withdrawal is hell, don't let them give you that bullshit about it "just affecting opiate receptors" or whatever). I've been coming here 2-3x a week for about a month now with my husband. We LOVE it. We get the trippin aid. I get the gold on green, he gets full spectrum. You can't go wrong with these. Staff is super nice. They're open late and even on doordash! Next door is savage labs and have cozy couches and comedy nights. Went here with my friend and got extremely ill... There should be some sort of disclaimer about potential side effects of kratom. We were asked if we were new to the products and said yes with no information other than everything is organic. When asked about sourcing we were met with some weird walk around answers.... By far the worst kava bar I've ever been to and that's coming from an avid Kratom drinker. The whole place is very dirty and as soon as i walked in there was a roller tray with marijuana sitting on it on the front counter where you check out. I was the only one waiting at the counter and it took about 15 minutes for the guy working the front to take my order. I can't speak for the kava they serve but the Kratom they make is made with powered and not crushed leaf so you don't know what you're actually getting. They have a mandatory 20% "service charge" on whatever you buy there which I assume is a tip, which I was charged for even though I received no service and had to wait 15 minutes just to order and checkout. They also try and be sneaky and ask you to tip a second time after already charging 20%. On top of that they charge extra if you take the drink to go? What's up with that??? I wouldn't recommend going here unless you want to waste your time, money and have an overall bad service experience. read more

Super cool and chill spot. I enjoyed the aesthetic and relaxing environment; they had plants, instruments, couches, and bar seating. We stopped by on a Tuesday night just as they were closing but they were cool enough to let us in to get something to go. The people that were working there that night were very welcoming and friendly. If I was a Miami local, I would definitely hit up this spot regularly. They have nice deals too. I got some kava to go and I love that they serve it with a pineapple wedge. Not sure if that is normal or not but It was surely a nice touch. This was such a unique experience. A friend brought me here to try Kava. I have been seeing it around but never tried it. I finally got to try it out here and I am glad I did. It is definitely an acquired taste. The DJ that night was playing some really great songs! It wasn't as busy the night I went but then again, I believe it was a weekday, lol. The employees were exceptionally kind and very attentive. He was hilarious and went out of his way to get me some fresh pineapple! I tried the Gold Kratom too. to me, I think it tastes like prune juice, just a tad bit more bitter? The Kava comes in a bowl like cup with a pineapple on top. It tastes very muddy so the pineapple is there to cleanse your palate. They're supposed to give you these wonderful effects lol. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I don't even know how they have 4 as an overall? My friend recently went there while she was in the area and after she bought her drink and tipped over 20% the women owner of the bar came up to her and started drama with her about a past coworker that she USE to be friends with when they were younger. The owner then proceeded to make my friend cry and mocked her for it. My friend didn't understand what was going on except that a grown woman was causing drama and yelling at a customer that was sitting at the bar on her phone. DONT GO HERE unless you want to get verbally harassed by the owner. There is even an article you can find about her management at a separate location she tan that ended up going out of business because of how poorly she treated her employees. I myself work at a kava bar and to here and see what happened is appalling in any business or hospitality setting.
