Lori was very personable and asked a few questions to gauge what I was looking to achieve, and she also suggested dry brushing and what I could achieve with dry brushing and the benefits. (I immediately went out and bought a dry brush.) The massage was great! I didn't know what to expect at first - and Lori walked me through the process and what she was feeling. She picked up that I'm tight in my shoulders and and my stomach - I was amazed! She focused on my "pain points" - but didn't neglect the rest of my body. (Take note - Lymphatic Massages are soft touch and not a deep tissue, hard massage.) When I walked out of Lori's office, I felt great and oddly, a bit lighter. My friend and I went to lunch and I was far less bloated after our meal. I was amazed! When I arrived the person at the front desk must have gathered I was a new student, greeted me by name and helped direct me and introduced me to the instructor. The instructor was very kind, making note of my limitations and gently helping me understand things I was doing wrong, giving instructions directly and indirectly. I actually surprised myself being able to do things I didn't expect I was capable of. You don't have to be able to everything perfectly, just what is comfortable. It was also more meditative than I expected which I really enjoyed. After the class some very nice classmates were very complimentary and welcoming. I am sure I will get more out of these classes as I become more familiar with yoga. And I definitely will be continuing. I did a pretty wide internet search from rec center to other schools in the area and am glad I settled on this one. It was exactly what I was looking for.

They have tons of different classes here and the owner Brian is super nice. The locations very relaxing when you first walk in and smells fabulous. They have a lobby area where you can buy different items and some clothing, and it's really spacious here. The class I did was about a hour and a half long and really helped me feel better. Even though I prefer heated courses, Brian did a fabulous job of getting us where we needed to go. I will return in the future for other events as the studio really is fabulous.

As she's working, I can feel energy shifting and I can get into a wonderful relaxed state of just being and not thinking. For someone who lives in their head all the time, it's a delightful feeling. You have the choice to have her say what's she's sensing or not but I love to hear what's she's sensing, as it's so accurate and to me, it helps me change to terms with my feelings or know what to focus on in the coming weeks. The best part is, after every cleanse, I feel lighter and more connected, even after some very heavy work that may bring up an array of emotions: when I leave, I feel like the sun is shining brighter and all my favorite songs are on the radio. And that feeling stays with me for several days to weeks after. The three session pack is a great deal for the amount of healing you get and it's very flexible: you could use these monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, etc depending on your needs. I'm putting Reiki healing with Claire up there with getting massages or seeing a chiropractor: go when you need it but also when you don't to prevent needing it.
